"Wait—ugh!"

Before Kevin could even plead for his life, his eyes widened in horror when Victor flicked his finger and a red line appeared across his neck. Blood seeped out from it like a water bursting out of a dam.

He clutched his neck and looked at Victor in disbelief. There was unwillingness and resentment in those eyes as he felt death approaching. He never expected he would meet Victor again and he would dare to kill him in his own house.

Thump.

The next moment, Kevin fell lifelessly to the ground.

"Ahhh...!"

Victor and Amber looked toward the source of the sound and saw a maid staring at them in terror. Her body trembled even more when she saw Kevin lying in a pool of blood. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

"Let’s go."

Victor said, and he and Amber walked away calmly under the maid’s horrified gaze. She did not dare move or even breath loudly until Victor vanished form her sight.

After Victor left, the maid hurriedly scrambled to inform the nearby guards.

"No! Keeeeviiiin!"

Riley Armour, Kevin’s mother, screamed in horror upon seeing her son’s corpse, while Alan had a look of fury in his eyes as he walked past his son’s body and looked at the empty vault.

"Looks like your assassination failed, Brian."

Alan looked at his brother in anger, and Brian dared not meet his eyes as he cursed inwardly.

’Damn, those useless bastards from the Shadowless Guild. No wonder they’re falling behind.’

"Brother, I will hire more assassins. I won’t let them get away with this!"

Ethan’s father said angrily.

"Stop. First, hire some better security."

Alan said with fear in his eyes.

Rumble.

"Hmm, what’s going on?"

Anna raised an eyebrow and looked out of the window and saw black clouds forming above their mansion, crackling with lightning.

The lightning was growing stronger and stronger.

Outside

"Are you planning to wipe them out along with the mansion?"

Amber asked with a somewhat excited look on her face.

"Indeed. You didn’t think I would spare them, did you?"

Victor snorted.

The next moment, a giant axe made of lightning descended upon the mansion.

BOOOOM!

The mansion vanished instantly, alongside over three miles of wilderness behind it.

"Alright, let’s go."

The mansion was located in a very secluded area, so nobody nearby saw Victor doing this.

However, people a few kilometers away saw a huge mushroom cloud appear and instantly panicked.

"Run!"

"Damn, did someone drop a nuclear bomb?!"

"Someone quickly call the police!"

After Victor and Amber left the scene, helicopters and police cars flooded the place that used to belong to the Armour family.

They were all stunned by the destruction, and nobody could imagine what kind of weapon had caused such devastation.

Victor’s eyes furrowed as he looked at his inventory after returning to his mansion. Other than gold, money, and some low-ranked items, there was something else that caught his attention.

"What are these question marks for?"

Victor mumbled, and the next moment a vial of silver liquid appeared in his hand.

Lilith looked at Victor with an innocent expression and said in a soft voice, "Miss Lilith doesn’t know. She just felt she had to drink it, and it was delicious."

Amber’s eyelids twitched at the shameless cat.
