On the other side of the battlefield, Julian and Valerie were engaged in a fight with the beasts.

"Shit," Julian cursed when he saw dozens of beasts open their mouths and spit acidic globs toward him.

"Sand Wall!" Julian hurriedly said, and the ground beneath him trembled as columns of 10-meter-long sand erupted and formed a wall around him.

The globs collided with the sand walls and were stopped by them.

This was one of the bloodlines he had awakened when he escaped the captivity of the Black Church.

"Partial Transformation – Acidic Tentacles," Valerie said as her hands turned into dozens of tentacles straight out of a horror anime and plunged into the bodies of the monsters near her.

The monsters roared in pain as they felt their organs melt, and soon their entire bodies dissolved into a gooey substance.

The other players who saw her attack felt a chill run down their spines.

"Hiss, why did it have to be tentacles?"

"Damn, these things are completely disgusting."

"Guys, I think I’m going to puke."

Valerie ignored the chatter of the players. As a girl, did she despise tentacles and feel creeped out? Yes, she did. But was it effective? Also yes. This tentacle transformation was something she had obtained from an aquatic creature that had nearly killed her.

"Sand Blades." Valerie looked at Julian, who had created blades of sand and was slicing through the beasts. These were the two skills he had awakened along with his bloodline.

"Hmm, I should also go all out; there is no way I am going to fall behind that fatso," Valerie sneered, and then her body started to change.

"Full Transformation – Shadow Cat," Valerie said. Unlike partial transformation, which allows only body parts to transform, this transformation allowed her to completely transform into a beast if it was compatible with her, and this Shadow Cat was the beast transformation she had obtained along with her bloodline.

Her body started to transform, and within seconds she turned into a 10-meter-long black tiger-like creature with purple markings.

"Shadow Merge," Valerie said as she vanished into the shadows.

"Shadow Claw." As soon as she uttered those words, a large claw made of shadow formed on her sharp claws, and she started slicing through the beasts across the battlefield. The monsters only saw a shadow appear beside them before they fell dead on the spot.

"Want to outnumber me? That’s wishful thinking," Rachel smirked as she saw a large number of monsters surround her. Her eyes gleamed as she looked at the corpses around her.

"Arise," Rachel mimicked the words of a certain character who also commands the dead and likes to farm aura.

As soon as those words fell, skeleton swordsmen, skeleton archers, and skeleton riders on skeletal horses appeared, and compared to the last time Victor had seen her fight, these were much stronger.

Not only this, but even the corpses of monsters lying still on the ground started twitching as they slowly rose up.

Seeing this, the players felt a chill run down their spines.

"Heavens, Rachel, the number 4 player, has such a terrifying bloodline—she can control the undead?"

"This is even creepier than the tentacles used by that woman."

"Yeah, you are absolutely right."

Rachel looked at her army and said, "Charge, tear them apart."

As soon as her words fell, the undead charged toward the beasts like a tide. Skeleton swordsmen cleaved the bodies of the monsters in half, skeleton archers riddled them with bone arrows, the skeleton cavalry pierced them with their bone lances, and the undead corpses started tearing each other apart with their fangs. As soon as one monster died, it would rise again as an undead.

"Oh?" Rachel raised an eyebrow when she saw a few intelligent magical beasts ignore the others and charge straight toward her by slipping through the gaps. Seeing this, Rachel sneered and said, "Thinking I am defenseless is your mistake."

"Bone Spears," Rachel said as she raised her hand. Some of the undead that were fighting vanished, and large sharp bones emerged from the ground and directly embedded into their bodies.

This was a new skill Rachel had unlocked—she could sacrifice undead to create bones to attack and defend. Unlike Victor, who awakened a new bloodline each tier, they awakened new skills of their existing bloodline as they leveled up, and Rachel had reached a certain threshold.

"Tsk." Regal clicked his tongue as he saw all the heirs display various powerful skills, some of which he felt were comparable to his Magma bloodline. He had thought that with just this bloodline no one would be his opponent, but he did not expect every single one of them to possess a formidable bloodline.

’But that Faceless...’ Regal clenched his fists when he remembered the power of that black lightning. He was confident that in terms of offensive power he was the best among all heirs and top players and could surpass everyone except Faceless.

"Well, let’s stop thinking about him and focus on the current situation," Regal mumbled as he looked at the monsters charging toward him with a cold gaze.

"Magma Wave!" Regal shouted as a large amount of magma left his body, forming a small wave that surged toward the magical beasts.

Some of the players also seemed to be in the way, but he did not stop and ruthlessly input more magma, increasing the size of the wave.

The players finally noticed, and their eyes widened in terror.

"Fuck, what the hell is that?"

"Run, quickly, or we will get caught in the attack!"

"Ugh, it’s so hot!"

"Tsk, as ruthless as ever." Victor, who was watching from the sidelines, clicked his tongue. Regal, even in his past life, had a notorious reputation for being ruthless even to his subordinates, so not many people dared to provoke him.

Victor watched as the magma directly swallowed a large number of beasts along with a few unfortunate players. Victor’s eyes then swept across the other heirs, and he nodded his head in satisfaction.

’Where is that guy Matthew?’ Victor did not see him on the battlefield, so he looked around, and his lips twitched when he spotted Matthew.
