Extra's Pov: The Goddess Wants Me To Conquer Milfs
Chapter 58: Assassination!?
Logan’s mind spun rapidly as pain racked through his body.
Just as he didn’t know what to do while one of the men specifically targeted him, Astra, the ever-present help, interjected. Her voice carried a hint of exasperation.
[Master, you have more than 2000 points. Returning to your peak health would cost barely 100 system points.]
Logan froze, then his eyes widened.
Subconsciously, he had forgotten about the system store that contained most of what he needed.
A wry smile appeared on Logan’s face as he heard Astra’s words.
’Thanks, Astra.’
His eyes turned toward the man in front of him.
’Restore me to peak form.’
[That would cost 110 System points.]
Logan’s lips twitched, but to someone with over 2000 points, that was now a negligible sum, so he readily agreed.
Instantly, the exhaustion in his limbs vanished.
His origin energy regenerated at an alarming rate.
The injuries on his body gradually receded until they vanished completely, and even the rod was forced out of his body.
Logan felt as though his body had been reconstructed at a cellular level, restoring him to the state he had been in before the battle even began.
He clenched his fist, feeling strength surge through his body once more.
’Definitely worth the points I just spent!’
’Astra, give me a new set of daggers. Far more dangerous and unique this time.’
Logan wasted another two hundred points purchasing a new set of daggers.
There were ten of them, each costing twenty points. However, the moment the daggers appeared in the air, a faint vibration spread outward.
Gordon instinctively turned toward the scent.
"This smell... such a rare metal... I... need it." He sniffed like a starving predator catching the scent of fresh blood. He had to get his hands on that metal.
His gaze soon landed on Logan.
’This brat...’
He stared at the spinning daggers surrounding Logan.
The blades were long and slender, radiating a chilling killing intent of their own.
His eyes trembled slightly as he stared at them, momentarily falling into a daze.
"Snow... help me deal with the other guy. I’ll handle the boss."
After sensing that the man heading toward him was merely at the Origin Apprentice rank, the same rank as himself, Logan no longer paid him much attention.
Instead, his focus shifted toward their leader, who was at the Origin Expert rank.
Snow’s eyes widened, as though shocked that Logan had actually asked it to fight.
It meowed repeatedly in protest. However, a coin had already appeared in Logan’s hand.
He flicked it toward Gordon.
Gordon narrowed his eyes, recognizing the familiar metal after watching Logan’s previous battle.
Just as he was about to control the gold particles within it, the coin shattered, and Logan appeared midair.
He held the SSS-rank sword in his hand while the daggers revolved around him like a defensive formation.
Gordon could no longer spare attention for Ethan.
Ding!
Another wave of rods, the last set he possessed, trembled and slithered through the battlefield.
They latched onto the dead students, drawing blood and emitting a crimson aura.
The rods shook violently before enlarging, releasing an ear-piercing screech as they returned to Gordon’s side.
"Go," Gordon commanded, sending the rods hurtling toward Logan’s position in midair.
...
Meanwhile, back at Snow’s location.
Seeing that Logan had truly left it to deal with the assassin, Snow stared at the man, then lightly tapped its paw.
Swoosh...
A cold chill spread through the air.
"Little cat... I already know about your ice ability. Did you really think I wouldn’t be prepared?" the man said as he quickly dodged to the side before closing the distance once more.
Just as he came within a meter of Snow, another element bloomed.
It wasn’t ice this time.
A torrent of flames erupted upward like a volcanic fountain.
"Wha-"
Before the young man could finish speaking, shadows twisted unnaturally around him, radiating pure destruction.
His heart twisted in horror as he realized the cat possessed not one origin ability... but multiple.
Shocked, he tried to retreat, but it was too late.
The shadows had already seized his wrist, dragging him inward.
The flames surged.
The assassin was reduced to ashes almost instantly.
Snow let out a soft meow and turned toward Logan’s direction.
Seeing that Logan was still fighting, it shook its head proudly before returning to lick the origin core.
...
Seeing Gordon’s attention shift toward Logan, Ethan immediately attacked the third assassin.
Meanwhile, Gordon stood before Logan with a twisted smile on his scarred face as the crimson rods floated around him, vibrating ominously.
The metallic scent in the air had grown thicker, nearly suffocating.
"You really are full of surprises, brat," Gordon growled, his eyes locked onto the ten new daggers orbiting Logan. "That metal... I want it."
Logan cracked his neck, feeling completely refreshed after spending the system points. His body was at its peak. His origin energy flowed like a raging river.
The new daggers hummed sharply around him, vastly superior to the previous set.
"Then come take it," Logan said coldly.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Gordon moved instantly.
The blood-infused rods shot forward like hunting serpents, twisting and accelerating through the air as they absorbed more blood from the fallen students.
Logan vanished in a flash of silver light.
Bang!
He reappeared directly above Gordon, ten daggers plunging downward with compressed spatial force.
Gordon reacted immediately, pulling several rods upward to form a metallic shield.
CLAAAANG!!!
Violent sparks exploded outward.
The impact forced Gordon backward, his boots carving trenches into the ground.
Gordon’s eyes narrowed.
Without hesitation, two rods suddenly curved around Logan’s flank while another shot upward from beneath him, aiming directly for his spine.
Logan’s gaze sharpened.
Bang!
He teleported sideways, narrowly avoiding the ambush. Yet Gordon had already predicted the movement.
Three more rods intercepted Logan’s reappearance point instantly.
Clang! Clang!
The daggers spun rapidly, barely knocking them aside before the rods could pierce his skull.
"You’re not the only one who can think during a fight, kid," Gordon sneered.
Logan flicked another coin forward.
Bang!
He appeared behind Gordon.
The daggers slashed downward like silver arcs.
But Gordon abruptly twisted around, one rod intercepting the blades while another launched toward Logan’s throat from below.
Logan bent backward midair, the rod grazing his chin by mere centimeters.
At the same time, two daggers shot downward and pierced Gordon’s side.
Blood splattered.
Yet Gordon smiled instead.
The blood was instantly absorbed by the rods.
Their aura thickened.
"The more blood spills," Gordon muttered, "the stronger they become."
Suddenly, the rods split apart and expanded outward, forming a cage around Logan.
Every escape angle vanished.
The rod tips glowed with crimson energy before shooting inward simultaneously.
Logan’s pupils contracted.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
He clicked multiple coins and teleported repeatedly within the shrinking cage, narrowly avoiding impalement after impalement.
One rod still managed to graze his shoulder.
The rod trembled eagerly as it absorbed his blood and thickened further.
Gordon’s smile widened.
"You’re running out of room."
Logan’s expression turned cold.
"Then I’ll stop running."
Instead of retreating again, he charged forward like a streak of silver light.
The ten daggers fused together into a rapidly spinning wheel before him.
Not loud.
Not flashy.
Just silent destruction.
Every rod that approached was shredded apart instantly.
Gordon’s expression finally changed.
BOOOOM!!!
Logan smashed into Gordon’s defenses.
Several rods shattered apart under the overwhelming spatial force.
Gordon coughed blood as he was pushed backward.
Yet even then, his eyes remained sharp.
The remaining rods instantly merged together above him, condensing into a massive crimson spear vibrating with concentrated force.
Rather than throwing it immediately, Gordon waited.
Watching.
Calculating.
The moment Logan teleported again-
"Now."
The spear exploded forward at point-blank range.
The timing was nearly perfect.
Logan’s eyes widened slightly.
He twisted his body at the last possible moment and redirected the spear’s trajectory using his spatial telekinesis
The spear tore past his shoulder.
Then Logan appeared directly before Gordon.
SHIIIIIIING!!!
All ten daggers thrust forward simultaneously.
Gordon barely formed a thin metallic shield.
The daggers pierced through it anyway.
Four blades buried themselves deep into Gordon’s shoulders and abdomen.
Spatial ruptures detonated inside the wounds.
"GAAAAAHHH!!!"
Gordon screamed as his body was hurled backward into a tree.
Blood poured from his wounds.
His control over the rods weakened instantly.
Logan slowly walked forward, the daggers orbiting him once more, dripping with Gordon’s blood.
"You came here to kill us... right?" Logan’s voice remained calm. "Then you should’ve been prepared to die."
He raised his hand.
The daggers shot forward like streaks of silver light.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Gordon desperately tried to defend himself.
It didn’t matter.
The daggers tore through his remaining defenses and pierced his body from multiple angles.
With one final spatial compression, Logan detonated them all simultaneously.
BOOOOOOM!!!
Gordon’s body exploded apart as blood and fragments of metal scattered across the battlefield.
Silence fell.
The daggers silently returned to Logan’s side, making him resemble a god of death and destruction.
Logan stood amidst the carnage, breathing steadily as the new daggers resumed orbit around him, cleaner and deadlier than before.
He glanced toward Snow, who was calmly licking an origin core as though nothing had happened.
The remaining students stared at Logan with absolute awe and fear.
The entrance test had become a massacre... and Logan had ended it.
The moment Logan eliminated Gordon, he froze...
No, not just him... everyone... everything froze completely.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
A thunderous sound, akin to war drums, echoed inside Logan’s mind.
Soon, a calm, unhurried voice drifted over.
"Human... I have been watching you for some time now."
The moment the weary voice, filled with the vicissitudes of life, echoed out, Logan’s perception twisted violently.
Space and time seemed nonexistent as Logan appeared before... it.
Logan’s mind raced in alarm.
Even Astra became frantic.
