Coming out of the cave, she was met with the other three women standing there, waiting for her. Dana stood with his hands on her hips, Emily found a nearby tree to lean against while Rosie sat on a rock that was just beside the cave’s mouth.

"Why are you all here?" she asked.

Dana smiled sweetly at her abd that was enough to let the girl know that she won’t be able to make off her even if she tried unless they decided to leave her alone.

"We are coming with you," Emily said, breaking the ice.

["There is another option"] Gaia said to her. ["Alpha, mind link him,"]

["I can do that?’] Kora asked in shock. As a female, once you are marked by a mate from another pack, the oavt between you and your birth pack will be broken including the mind link.

["Yes, and Luna too,"] Gaia replied and went back to sleep after saying that. Kora didn’t need to think hard to know whom Gaia would refer to as Alpha, he was none other than Alpha Lazarus.

"Is Gaia up now?" Dama asked because she noticed the change in the eyes of Kora. "What did she say she wants to find out?"

["She is asleep again,"] she said through the mind link, testing if it would really work. Dana was also surprised to have received a mind link from her but Kira had a smirk on her face.

"How was that possible?" ahs asked but Kora did not reply as she went ahead to link Lazarus, she needed to go and wasting tine talking and answering their questions was not helping at all. She wjayed to know why the Vampire wanted to meet her.

The means he used to reach out to was only familiar to Gaia, she has no longer sea he could that and was worried when she returned the call but Gaia had explained it to her and had said they should go. If he had I’ll intention towards her the link he established between wouldn’t have worked. So going was only her idea but even Gaia’s and they were running out of time.

["Alpha,"] she called through the link. There was silence for a few seconds before the voice of Lazarus was heard.

["Yes,"] she answered and looked at tyeb window that belonged to the alpha’s office. She could see his silhouette standing there and looking at her. "I ajevsoemqhere to go, alone, but Luna wouldn’t let me go, could you talk to her, I am running out of time,"]

["Where are you going?"] he asked wanting to he sure before calling back his mate. She wouldn’t stubbornly insist on following her without a reason.

["It’s near the pack, Alpha"] she said head an ’okay’ from him before Dana’S voice interrupted them.

["She would be meeting the vampires, do you want me to let her go alone?"] she asked. It took a while to realise whom she was talking and when she did she wasted no time getting into the conversation. She wouldn’t take any chances, Kora was the daughter she raised herself and loved as her own how could she just ain’t back and watch her do something so dangerous.

["Kora, is it true?"] Lazarus asked obviously taken aback by the news.["Wilhuvh vampire are you meeting?"] he asked having a bad feeling about the answer he would receive from her.

["Lors Dmitri,"] Kora and Dana said at the same time.

["You are not going alone, Kora,"] He said not liking the idea either. ["As you father, I forbid you to do that,"]

They see him leave the window and they knew he was coming down to where they were. After a gee minutes they sashimi walk out through the door.

"Good evening, Alpha," Emily and Rosie said the moment he drew hear to them.he gave a nod to them and then looked at Kora,

"Walk with me, he said and she followed him. The others went back inside while the walked away gtkm the pack house in the direction where she had mentioned she would be going. They stopped walling when they were sure that wee out of anuine’s earshot. "How are you?" He asked.

He had been busy since she arrived and all he was able to was receive them and had a few words with the Supremw Alpha and which was nothing deleted to family. The only thing that was personal about the discussion he had with Darren was his request to protect her.

"I am fine," she replied and he nodded.

"I was told Gaia wanted something from the cave, have you found it?" he asked.

"I think she did," She replied adlnd he raised a brow, "She said she would tell.me later,"

"Alright," he nodded and they started walking again. "Why didn’t you tell your mate why you came here?" she took a while before she answered.

"He wouldn’t like the idea and I don’t want to get into a fight with him," she replied and he turned to look at her.

"Is it that important to meet with him?" Lazarus asked. As much as he wouldn’t want her running to danger, he didn’t want her to feel disrespected. She was not a child anymore whom they could enforce their authority over. She was a Luna herself and had the right make her own decisions and was more than capable of the bearing the consequence of her actions and decisions.

"Yes," she replied and he nidded again. "He won’t hurt me, I am sure of that"

He stopped and stared at her for a moment before spreading his arms asking her to come over for a hug. She complied and hugged him. "Be careful, if you need help call for me, I would be nearby," he said and she smiled.

"Thanks Dad," she said and he smiled. She rarely call him that so it kenat a lot to him that she did now.

"How sweet!"

They heard another’s voice across the lake which made them pull apart. Looking at where the voice came from and Lazarus almost growled upon seeing Lord Dmiiyri but he stopped himself from doing so.

They had walked until the crystal lake without knowing it and now that he had seen the vampire he didn’t want to leave again, he stood protectively in front of keeping her from the course view but a single look from Kora had him nodding and stepping back.

["Call me if you need me,"] he said and left them alone despite the fact his beast wnated him to stay.
