Fated To The Dark Alpha
Chapter 218. Compensate me
At the Blood Moon Pack,
Mateo and Levi with some of the council Elders were present, making preparations. Emily, being more familiar with both the people from Shadow Moon and the council members as well as those from the Blood Moon Pack, was busy giving orders and directing below everything should be playing her role as the supreme gamma female.
She could not believe it when Kora texted her early in the morning telling her what was discussed the previous night and then telling her that she was in charge because they had somewhere to go.
Right now, she stood and stared at her hard work with a pleased smile playing on her lips. It was not easy but she was glad that everything was ready. Well... Almost everything.
"Move that over there, does that look presentable to you?" she ordered. The omega looked at her and shook her head. They were used to her since she was little so having her order them around and nagging about how unfashionable things were was no longer a thing of surprise. "Now that is perfect," she said, nodding her head and they laughed.
"You will tire them out sooner or later if you keep changing the position of things all the time." Levi’s voice came as a whisper next to her ear, she felt his arm around her waist and the spark shooting through her.
"They are used to it," she said with a pout.
He wanted his fingers through her long blond hair, he loved the feel of it. Trailing his fingers down her cheek, he cupped her face. "You ran away with Luna leaving your mate all alone, how do you plan to compensate me?"
She blushed hard knowing what he was asking her. She looked to the side and found her mother approaching them and pushing him away, "My mother is here to see you," she said even though that was not the case.
"She never knew I was here," he said, taking hold of her waist again. His back crashed against his chest making them even closer than they were before. "You are my mate, she wouldn’t have an issue with me holding you," he said and leaned to whisper, "Move again and I will French kiss you in front of her." she stiffened and then became so red that he could not resist the temptation to kiss her. "You should go to her, we can talk about my compensation later,"
"You..." She was speechless, unable to find the right words. "Hmph," she humphed and poked his chest. "You have no compensation," she said walking away.
"Sorry bro," Ezra said, walking to stand beside him. He heard all of their conversation and he didn’t try to hide or deny it.
"The Alphas in the nearby packs have arrived, all that remains is the return of Alpha and Alpha Lazarus," Levi said, ignoring what Ezra had said earlier.
Ezra shook his head internally knowing that he had intentionally changed the topic of conversation. "They are on their way," he replied not pushing it further.

"How is it?" Hunter asked when he saw a frown on his face of Jarred. He hadn’t skilled this week and had been pressuring the soldiers and workers too much but who could blame him when all he wanted was the same thing that they wanted? Especially those who had had an experience with the nonhumans in the past.
"Almost done," he replied with a stone expression he didn’t even look at Hunter but the man knew his anger was not directed at him. A man walked over to whisper something to Jared and the man nodded. "Allow them in," he said.
Hunter frowned, having a bad feeling about whoever was coming in now. His premonition was confirmed when David and Jack made their way to them and Jack flashed him a beautiful smile. Normally, he was frowning having that smile that he knew was genuine but had a hidden meaning but he stayed at it and was unphased by it. He even smiled back at him confusing Jack for a moment.
"Mr. Spears," Jared called extending his hand to him for a handshake. "You asked of me?"
"I did, Mr. Wills," he replied. They both turned to look at the weird exchange of smiles between Jack and Hunter. Jared was confused but David wanted to facepalm himself. Could it get any weirder? "Jack?" he called, drawing his attention. " That is not why we came," he reminded.
"It may not be why you came," he said and then looked at Hunter, "But it is why I came," a frown finally surfaced on Hunter’s face. "I can’t help it, he is a fine man," he sized up Hunter and then licked his lips. "You won’t blame me, right?" he asked corking his head to one side.
"Can I kill him?" Hunter asked. His gaze was so fierce, if anyone saw him like this they would think he was out on a hunt.
"Kill him without a reason?" Jared asked still not clear on what was happening before his eyes.
Hunter could only glare because that was not something that he would like to say out loud. The pervert standing next to him was grinning from ear to ear waiting for him to say what was happening between them. He was not going to give him the pleasure of annoying him more than this.
Jack moved closer and placed a hand on his shoulder but he did not move away from it like he usually would.
"We are good, Sir, there is nothing to worry about," Jack said. It was then that Hunter realized the hand that was actually placed on his shoulder.
"Let us head inside for a talk if there is nothing wrong," Jared said. He cast a second glance at Hunter but the man did not give any sign to him so he let go and led the way. David ignored them and followed Jared wanting to be away from them
"You don’t have to be so resistant to me," Jack said taking his hand off Hunter’s shoulder now acting like the one who was offended as wronged.
