The days after the ritual went smoothly and speedily. Weeks went by quickly and before they knew it, a month was gone now chasing the second. The days were eventful with multiple reports of threats coming from different packs. The rogue Alpha was yet to be found but the hunters have found his trail and were currently following to make sure he was found and identified.

Cillia along with the Coven had created more human Abominations and Dmitri had almost successfully awakened the dark vampires. Just a little more time and they will be fully awakened. In all these matters between the coven and the vampires, Lucinda had been actively watching and participating. Azrail on the other hand had his eyes on Lucinda and was seen around her or wherever she was more than he was seen around Dmitri recently. But she ignored it all. As long as he did not attempt to do anything unruly or try to harm her, he could ignore him and let him follow her about as much as he wanted as wouldn’t care.

Even Dana had come to assist now and then but the relationship between her and Cillia remained the same. They barely saw eye to eye but that did not affect the growth of their mission and reason for working together.

The other shifters whom Gaia had asked them were spotted but on different continents which made it difficult to get them. all together without being spotted and identified by the human hunters. They were slowly being shipped sparsely in small groups making small stops in places that they considered safe and then moved again until they arrived at their destination.

They were being careful because even where they were coming from, they were being hunted down too so what Supreme Alpha had told them to do was followed. At first, they were going to reject the help of wolves but after learning that there was already a lion and tiger shifter with them and they were well cared for, they agreed to join forces with the wolves.

While everything was happening at its pace Darren noticed some changes in him since the day they visited the Vampire territory, he didn’t know what happening and even Kora could not tell either but he did not feel sick it weak, but rather felt the presence of a certain darkness inside of him. The only explanation he got from Kora was that what killed him before was responsible for whatever was happening and the fact that had been cursed before aided it. There must have been something or some kind of spell in the vampire territory that must awakened it.

Since he did not feel uncomfortable and neither did he grow weak, not much attention was paid to it. Whatever it was, they came to know when the time was right, and at that time, they would be able to know how to handle it.

While Kora’s baby bump was gradually increasing everyone now knew that the Luna Supreme would be having a baby soon. It was a thing of worry. They hoped that a child should be born before all of the craziness became even more crazy and out of control.

Right now, Kora is sitting in Darren’s office in the pack house with Lucy and Lucinda sitting in the seats opposite her. Lucy had just returned from the given to report everything that had been happening to her as instructed.

"Have they been able to do it yet?" she said picking a fruit from beside her. She likes to eat a lot of fruit she never goes anywhere without them. And if she did someone will always bring them to her.

"The head has not stopped using the human soldiers they captured and the vampires... there is progress," she said and Kora raised a brow to gap between her words. That inky meant they were yet to awaken them which in this case was a good thing. Those things were had to control and she wouldn’t mind having them released only when there was no other option.

"So he isn’t done yet?" she asked Luvihda nodded. "That doesn’t sound so bad, they should and awaken only when they are needed, they are too dangerous to let loose anyway."

"What is down there, Luna?" Lucinda asked because had no idea why they had been trying to set free. If it was as dangerous as she said it was then wake it up at all.

"Vampire," she replied and they frowned. How dangerous could vampires be? They have been dealing with them for so long now they could deal with them in their sleep."They are not the regular vampires you know, they have been linked up and put into deep slumber because unlike those you know, these require an Elder to control them, if the elder vampire a but strong enough, he may not be able to control more than one. They are mindless killers and rely only on blood it doesn’t matter what creature’s blood they had to feed on, as long as it was blood they would feed and drain to death. They have lived away because they nearly exposed our kind a long time ago. Dmitri wants to wake them now because of the impending doom that is coming." she explained and Lucinda fell silent.

It was indeed good to awaken those things now. She thought. But would lord Dmitri be strong enough to control them he was the inky one and based on how long it had taken them and they were still unable to do it, those things must be many, a hundred at least.

"I understand now, Luna," she said with a smile also picking up a fruit from the gasket to eat. "Why are you so silent Lucy?" she asked. She was sent all the while looking at her as if there was something stuck to her.

"Who is it l?" Lucy asked and Lucinda blinked for a moment before she became flushed after understanding what her sister was talking about.

"No one," she replied and Lucy frowned. "Luna, tell her to leave me alone,"
