Chapter 249: 248. Making more rooms

The group arrived at the Blood Moon Pack a little behind schedule but there was still time before sundown. The teams were divided and some of them were sent to the Black Storm packs. Many alphas and Lunas from other packs also came and wrote split just like the warriors. Others whose packs were nearby remained in their packs to ward off and alert the others should anyone attack their packs.

While Darren was outside addressing the alphas and warriors telling them what to do, Kora walked to the cave and entered outside. She needed to be away from everyone even if it was just for a moment. The cave always helped her relax in the past and that was what she needed now. She walked to the bed that was still the same way as she had left many months ago. She couldn’t believe how much time had passed so quickly in such a short period.

She stared down at her belly which was big now and touched it. She tried once again to look into the future of the child inside of her but still failed. It frustrated her when she was unable to see something she wanted to see. She couldn’t see the end of the war and she also couldn’t see what would become of her child at the end of this. She even tried having Lucy help her with a spell to amplify her ability but nothing worked.

Her blood could help with any spell cast by the spell casters, and increase the strength and speed of the shutter and vampires as well as other senses but it was useless to her. She never be able to sue it herself no matter how hard she tried the results were always the same. She sighed with a small pout and wished she could do something that would enable her to benefit from having special blood running through her.

She took off her coat, placed it on the bed, and sat beside it. She stared at the paintings on the wall and wondered who had painted them. They had always looked alive, especially at night when the light from the crystals in the cave shone brightly. Even right now they looked as if they were looking at her though the sun was yet to set.

Looking back at the same again, she realized that it looked bigger compared to how it used to be. Some were never there before and the walls seemed to be moving, creating more room. She stood up and walked towards the wall that was moving wondering what was going on.

"Anybody there?" She asked as she walked inside the wall just kept on moving and then it stopped. The inside was darker compared to where she was which was light by the crystals and the small light came in from the outside.

She also stopped and reached out her hand to touch the wall to make sure that everything was still as firm as she remembered it to be. The moment she touched it, the walls moved again but this time they created spaces that looked like rooms. Kora’s hand paired in the air as she watched what was happening. She didn’t know if she had walked into another place or if she was still in the cave. She had gone round the cave when she was little and knew that the cave was not as big as this and it had never done anything like this before.

After a little moment, the sound of the moving walls stopped, and before were four newly created rooms. She stared at it for a moment trying to understand what just happened.

["Don’t be surprised,"] Gaia’s voice echoed in her head. She had been sleeping since the talk with Darren and woke to see this happening. Returning to the cave which she once lived in centuries ago but hadn’t had the time since her return also had her sleeping more feel g at home. The warmth of the cave and the energy around were soothing for her. She had grown accustomed to sleeping in a room inside a house like other shifters have because she had to and didn’t want to stay without her mate but this was what she knew and where she slept in the past. The unique energy in the cave that the goddess prepared for them.

"You know what is happening?" Kora asked out loud. At least half of her didn’t see it as strange.

["Yes. In the past, this was our home. We were many, did you think the little space you found before would have been enough to shelter us?"] Asked. The cave works according to the number of mystic wolves that exist. Before now, it was only Kora Whom the cave recognized as a Mystic Wolf. It would but be the same soon and the cave must have sensed that the moment she walked inside today.

["The cave would continue to expand and make more room for everyone like us who exists even if he or she does not know about this place, their space will always be here for them so that when they do find it, they would have their own space to themselves."]

" Why are there four rooms?" Kora asked. She was the only one so one room would have been fine justice how it had been in before if it was sense that she was pregnant then one other room would have been too, so why four? She asked.

["The Cave is never wrong. It has never been wrong. Maybe it knows something we don’t know yet, don’t forget that lately, we haven’t been able to see into the future regarding certain things"] Gaia said. She sounded happy because of what she saw. More rooms mean more Mystic wolves. The rooms were still dark because no one inhabited them yet.

"You seem happy," Kora stated. Gaia’s mood was also affected and her spirit did become lively after hearing about more Mystic wolves.

["Because I am,"]

Kora felt her hand around happily and smiled. This was one good news that the Blood Moon Pack would be happy to hear.

"Let us find Alpha and Luna, they should know," she said and Gaia agreed very quickly. It was something that would lift a little burden from their shoulders.

"They felt that the end of the Blood Moon Pack was near so the presence of the Mystic Wolves would assure them that it would not be the case.

["Perhaps it is time to change the pack name back to its original name."] Gaia said and Kora paused to think about it. ["We have returned, it is only natural that the name returns too. The Blood Moon Pack does not suit us,"]

"We will discuss with Alpha and then decide," Korasaid not objecting to the idea.
