Fated To The Dark Alpha
Chapter 250 - 249. Changing
Coldshade City
David walked up to Jared with a frown on his face while Jared smiled. He liked that this day and moment had come and all his years of planning and waiting would finally come to an end. An expected end. One that he would very much once it happens the way he wants it to.
"Why are you with the upside-down smile?" He asked not seeing a reason why he wouldn’t be happy when he wanted, since he learned that other creatures existed was to wipe them out, especially a certain pack just to get back at his daughter and her mate.
"I can’t find Jack or Hunter," David said. He didn’t know what either of them were; they should be here remedy to set out by only the heavens knowing where they had gone and what they were doing.
"You are letting them get to you with absence. I trust Hunter to deliver. I am not sure about your Jack but you should have faith in him, so don’t bother about what they are doing now. You just enjoy this moment because it marks the beginning of the demise of all the unwanted, those we don’t want to see anymore." Jared said and Favid just stared at him. Jared was right but David would be a fool and a liar if he said he was not concerned that something might go wrong. That it wouldn’t end the way they want it to.
"You are right, I shouldn’t worry about them, but I can’t help it. I don’t want anything to go out of place. I have seen those creatures fight, they can not be underestimated." David remembered the ceremony of the shifters that was interrupted by the vampires yet they still managed to overcome the shifters. Some of those shifters with abilities that they had never seen and had not had the chance to capture before to question them.
The younger one had been identified to be the Luna Supreme seeing how many were ready to protect her but there was another. She was protected but not as much as the first one. Who knew how many more of those were around and from what he understood, they were of his status among their kind. Then there was the Lycan who no one had ever seen but only heard of and he is the revered Alpha Supreme. They had no idea how to handle these particular people.
There were also some of the creatures that the vampires had brought along with them that day too, none of those had been to be scattered and examined to know what they were made of.
"You seem to still have concerns," Jared said, eyeing David. He was in a good mood today and didn’t need any negativity but this man just brought him.
"We don’t know what they are planning, that is why I am concerned," he replied. Jared was not someone who would listen to something someone else would say when he had made his decision already.
Meanwhile....
Hunter stood by the door and stared at the man sleeping on his bed lying as comfortably as he could be who would have thought that the moment he left to visit his late wife and daughter’s graves, he would return to meet this sight before and what annoyed him the most was that he did not the fact that he was lying there but because he did not dislike it.
Sensing his presence, Jack opened his eyes and smiled. "Where have you been?" Jack asked, sitting up and staring at the man who wore a frown on his face upon seeing him.
"What are you doing here?" Hunter asked instead. He walked to the bed and day and he began removing his clothes so he could change into his gear. They were running out of time and he did not have the energy to ask him to leave first before he changed out of his clothes.
"We will be heading into a war that we are not sure how it will end, I thought I should coke to see you one last time before that happens. It might be my last, I don’t want to miss seeing you one last time," Jack said, drawing near to where Hunter sat. He watched him take off his shirt, pausing when he felt Jack behind him before resuming taking it off his shoulder and Jack smiled, hugging him from behind. "Would you let me kiss you?" he asked, pressing his lip on Hunter’s neck.
"Jack..." Hunter called but he did not stop him when Jack turned his face towards him for a kiss. "I need to get ready."
"There is still time, we won’t move out until the moon is up." He pressed their lips together and smiled with his eyes closed as she savored the moment. "You didn’t tell me where you were," Jack said after breaking the kiss.
"To visit someone," Hunter replied and Jack’s eyebrows rose because he did not see the need to visit anyone at a time like that unless they were more than just acquaintances. "My wife and daughter." He added so there was no misunderstanding.
"I should be hurt hearing this but I understand, it will take some time, I can wait for you to heal," Jack said, weaving his fingers through Hunter’s hair, their foreheads pressed against each other. He drew in a deep breath and released it slowly. "I feel like kissing you again and doing more."

The Vampire Territory
"Bring the hunters that were captured," Dmitri said. He had kept it long enough it was time to put them to use. The blood moon would soon appear in the sky as the darkness of the night slowly crept in.
"Yes, My lord," Leroy said and walked out calling on some vampires and shifters that were nearby to help him bring them. A moment later Leroy returned bringing along with him to a hunter and the rest were brought in by those who went to help him. They didn’t mind seeing whatever would be done as long as it was not done to them.
Dmitri smiled upon seeing them. They were glaring at him but those only looked like happy faces sweetly requesting him to do to them what he had in mind.
