Fated To The Dark Alpha
Chapter 252 - 251. It is time 2
A moment ago at the Blood Moon Pack,
Rosie escorted the last of the remaining pack members out of the pack so they wouldn’t get in the way. She stopped at the entrance and turned to look at her mate. She hated the fact that she had to run when it was her father who was coming to harm the people she loved.
She had been training to be able to protect herself but Raven wouldn’t let her stay and fight. It would have been better for her to stay, those soldiers coming would never suspect her unless they saw her killing another human before they would attack her.
"You need to go, Rosie," Raven said, holding her shoulders slightly so he didn’t hurt her. He could but understand why she was proving stubborn now. They had talked about this over and over again but she seemed to have changed her mind at the very last second and decided to stay behind. "The doors will be shut soon. Please go with them."
"I can fight. I can be of help," she said. She passed him to Lazarus standing with Kora, Dana, and Ezra. They seem to be having a different conversation and not paying attention to them which is good. "I don’t want you to face my father alone," she said knowing that the man who fathered her would search for her and Raven. He would stop at nothing to get to them. "Please don’t make me go away, I am tired of always running." Rosie pleaded, staring at his dark eyes.
He looked conflicted but after a moment, he pulled in for a hug. "It will be because your father is coming, that is why I want you gone so he doesn’t find you," Raven said letting her know his concern. The man who could abuse his daughter when he didn’t have a reason to hate her, what more could he not do now that he had his so-called reason to hate her? "I don’t want to see you near him or the other way around. I don’t want to lose you."
"I will be careful," Rossie said, finally seeing a glimmer of hope in her staying to help. She was the gamma lady of the pack, she should be strong and defend the lack all g with mate and Alpha but she always ended up being sent out with the children and aged to a safe place where they would wait until it was all over before they are allowed to come out. She wanted that change and she wanted it to start today when she would meet her father again after months of not seeing him. She was not the same weak daughter he could bully in the past and she wouldn’t even raise a finger against him. She had a mate whose honor she had to keep intact and a pack to prove that she deserved their respect and not tolerate her because she was the Beta’s mate.
"This is what I have been training for, I won’t allow myself to die," she said, caressing his back soothingly while he remained silent. "Raven."
"Alright, but you must stay close to me. Do not go beyond where I can see you," Raven said. She had worked hard to prove that she could protect herself and the people around her, so he was sure she would be able to take in a few unsuspecting humans.
"I will," Rosie replied and beamed in excitement.

How is it possible that the cave can get bigger on its own?" Ezra asked not believing that something like that could happen. He had been fortunate enough to enter the cave before it was only enough to accommodate Kora.
"It was home to a pack of mystic wolves before, how do you think they could fit inside?" Kora asked, feeling the urge to hit him on the head. Luckily for her, Raven came in time and did it. She looked at him and smiled while mouthing a "Thank you" to him and he nodded. Though he had been talking to Rosie, his ears couldn’t keep up with what they were discussing. "Gaia wants to change the pack’s name back to what it used to be and I agree."
"It doesn’t sound so bad to change it back. I like the sound of the old name though it would take some getting used to," Dana agreed looking at her mate. This was good news to hear. Soon the pack will have many more Mystic wolves and the former glory of the lack will return.
"Let us continue this conversation later. I can feel drawing near, "Lazarus said and then Stopped talking as the most awaited time had come.
Kora was glad that she had told them that now all she had to do was fight and kill as many humans as she could. She wished she was not pregnant right now so she could shift and claw their faces, her powers would have to be enough this time. How she missed being able to shift or at least, kick and punch some fools without having to worry about falling over.
She looked behind her, feeling her mate’s presence. He must have sensed them the same way Lazarus did and had come for her.
"We should get you somewhere safe," he said, planting a kiss on her forehead. Everyone knew she could fight and she liked fighting. They all also knew she was pregnant and a pregnant woman would not be forced to war because of her position. So Kora staying back would not come as a surprise to anyone. It was also another assurance that she would not do anything that would harm her after he had gotten her to agree with him.
"I am not leaving the pack," She said with a glare.
Raven eyed her and wondered if today was the day women would refuse to listen to the men whom they had always listened to. They chose a very wrong day to do that. Not far behind Kora and Darren Emily walked and he knew Levi could not get her to leave either.
"Lucy, Lucinda, Sophia, and Myself will be with her, should anything happen we will take care of it," Emily said before bowing her head to Darren. "Sophia is a healer, she would know what to do,"
"She has returned?" he asked because she didn’t remember seeing her recently.
"I called her back," Kora replied. Sophia returned to Ghora when they received information that some young healers were found and needed a teacher. Those young healers must have reached here by now. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
*Fine, but you stay at the back and I will place warriors around you," he said. If she would accept this he would allow her.
"Rossie would join you too," Raven said and Rossie glared but she did not complain. He would be at ease knowing she was not alone and wouldn’t look over his shoulder all the time to check on her while risking his own life.
"Let us go, they’re almost here," Darren said, taking Kora’s hand and leading the way. He just had to make sure no one got past him to get to her.
