"The training grounds," Kora asked and looked at Ezra who nodded at her without hesitation, "Why did you bring me here?" She looked at the place once more and back at him waiting for his answer. It was relatively still dark and she had never been out to train so early before, so this was a bit unexpected.

"We are here to train, " Ezra said and ruffled her hair. "From now on you will be trained differently from the others,"

"What do you mean? There are other people here." Kora stated and pointed at a group of young warriors undergoing training at a near distance. "How is mine going to be different?"

"We believe that the attacks we just face were because of you," Ezra said now looking at her. Kora tilted her head upward so she could look at his face.

"Why is it because of me? I didn’t do anything." She felt hurt knowing that it was because of her. All those people died because of her and some were injured.

"We think they want you and Alpha has asked me to train you the best that I can so you will be able to defend yourself as much as you can. Since you have no beast yet, I will train your human side to be as strong as possible and when your beast is awakened, we will train that as well. For you, training is first before school." He stopped talking when he saw the group of youngsters approaching them it seems that they were finally aware of his presence.

’Gamma Ezra!" They greeted and he nodes in response.

"Proceed with the training, I will watch from here," he instructed and they all nodded and left the two of them alone.

"Do you know why they want me?" Kora asked.

"No, I don’t know." He lied." Prepare to run a lap, after that, I will show you something else." Ezra said and walked closer to the group that was already training.

Kora pouted and grumbled a bit but she started running in the end doing as she was told.

"Where are those two men from Shadow moon pack?" A man asked while sitting on an armed chair. The look in his eyes was malicious and his face was devoid of all emotions. Their constant failures had him riled up and he didn’t know what he was going to report to his Lord. The news of their failure always got him close to death each time he reports it.

"I will bring them to you at once, sir." A guard said and ran off to find them. A short while later, the guard returned with the people he was asked to bring. "Here they are, sir." The guard said and left the three of them in the room.

"You wanted to see us, captain?" Collins asked and looked around the dark room though it was dark, they had no difficulty seeing. Sebastian followed suit. Ever since they have been here, no one bothered them and just left them alone. It felt like they have been forgotten and they did not have an issue with being left alone as long as they will have their chance in the future to seek revenge.

"Before you got here, you were asked what you have to offer," The man said and stood up to his feet walking towards them. He looked at them and then started circling them with his hands behind his back. "Now I ask you again, what do you have to offer?"

"Captain, as we said before, our answer remains the same," Sebastian said and looked at Collins who nods in agreement.

"Then what about him?" The man asked. He stopped circling them and stood in front of them. "You have done nothing since coming here."

"We will do as you command, Captain," Collins said.

"The Lord wants him dead," the man said, he turned around and walked a few steps away from them and stopped with his hand sill behind him. "He also wants a little girl who is now residing in the Blood moon pack," He paused and turned to look at them. "Kill him or get her the girl, or come up with a way to do any of them and you will be able to meet with the lord personally. Sit back and do nothing like you have been doing and you will be dead before you know it."

When they heard what he said they were not the slightest bit moved and stood in their positions unfazed. "This little girl, the one you spoke of, what does she look like and why does the Lord want her?" Collins asked. Why would the lord of rogues want a little girl if they were nothing important about her? "And how do you guarantee our safety after that is done?" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"She is a five-year-old child originally from the Silver moon pack who now resides in the Blood moon pack," the man said as he looked at them. His amber eyes gleamed in the darkness of the room. "Why she is wanted, you are not qualified to know just yet. Have it done and you will know and be a partaker in its benefits."

"Get the girl, or kill your Alpha that is the only way for you to stay here for longer, else leave now that you know nothing because if you do, you will... I don’t need to spell it for you, do I?" he said and went back to his seat.

"We will do our best, Captain," Sebastian said with bawled fists. "Do you have the plan to go after Darren? I will like to take on him." He said.

"You want to take on your Alpha!" The man asked with a bit of surprise in his tone.

"He is not my Alpha, he is a weakling who does not deserve to be followed," Sebastian said and the man raised a brow at him. It turns out that Sebastian has a feud with the Alpha supreme. Well, he could work on that and fuel it until it explodes.

"Why don’t have a little conversation, ahh.... ?"

"Sebastian," Sebastian said.

"Right, Sebastian, join me, let’s talk."
