Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton
Chapter 1999 - 1560: Hurry Up and Sell It for Me
The Elf Star Descendant stared at Anthony blankly, as if looking at some unimaginable creature. Change the main star? Can the main star be changed? Isn’t this as absurd as telling ordinary people they can rise from the dead?
"You don’t even need a main star. You can absorb the divine light of any God Star. The void is so vast; you can go wherever you want, be completely free." Anthony’s tone was like that of a little demon, continuously enticing them.
The Elf Star Descendant looked up and down at Anthony, like watching a fool.
Star Descendants are born from God Stars, living by absorbing divine light. The main star is their sole source of divine light; this is the law of the void. And now someone is telling them that they can absorb any divine light, go wherever they want, be completely free?
"Is it true? Why don’t you try it and see for yourself? If you don’t seize this opportunity, you’ll go back to being subordinate to those fools." Anthony said.
The two Elf Star Descendants suddenly shivered. Just a moment ago, they thought Anthony was a fool, but now they replied firmly, "Alright, let’s try."
Apparently, having those Fur Ball Star Descendants as superiors was even harder for them to accept than being deceived by Anthony. They’d rather take the risk and try.
Negris couldn’t help but give a thumbs-up. Truly worthy of being the Old God Stick, he’s really good at persuasion, quickly identifying the psychological gap in others.
Creating Star Descendants without a main star is easy. The white crystals nurtured before two Little Firemen hatch are enough. At this stage, the white crystals do not block the light of any God Star.
However, there’s a drawback to being a Star Descendant without a main star: the utilization of divine light is very low. Sunbathing in divine light for half a day won’t restore much energy, and they might even be discovered by the God Star.
But no matter how you look at it, it’s better than being grouped with those stupid Fur Ball Star Descendants.
There’s no denying that stupid teammates are more powerful than enemies of the Divine Star Level. The two Elf Star Descendants quickly completed the white crystal replacement process, becoming two masterless Star Descendants.
"So, you really can change the main star?" one of the Elf Star Descendants said in disbelief.
"It’s true. I can no longer sense the location of the main star. That feeling used to be inseparable from the main star. Without sensing the main star, we would die, but now nothing’s wrong," another Elf Star Descendant said.
Anthony smiled and said, "You are free now. No more mingling with those fur balls. Oh, and I have a few small questions for you."
Now that the main star had changed, loyalty was naturally non-existent anymore. For Anthony’s ’small’ questions, the two Elf Star Descendants answered everything, revealing their origins, background, main star, and other information, increasing Anthony’s understanding of them. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
"So you came from that side path. How did you maintain your integrity over such a great distance?" Anthony asked curiously.
This was what he wanted to know most. He knew before that the Star Descendants here had a way to replenish divine light far from the main star. Having this method meant that Star Descendants could leave the main star and travel to very distant places.
Generally, Star Descendants couldn’t be too far from the God Star. If they didn’t receive divine light for a long time, they could easily disintegrate, which is why in the Divine Light Alliance and the Friel Empire, Star Descendants are rarely seen.
After turning into Star Descendants, Anthony and his group stayed with Ange, so they didn’t worry about the ’lack of divine light’ issue.
However, during Hiludi’s expedition to explore the boundary wall, Hiludi couldn’t use the Star God’s body and had to change to another body, and then switch back upon returning.
If later they didn’t want to become Ange’s appendages, always relying on Ange to function, the ’divine light absorption’ problem had to be resolved.
The Elf Star Descendants took out two fist-sized white crystals each. Inside the crystal, a light ball slowly emitted light, like a Little God Star sealed within.
Anthony took one and presented it to Ange. Ange took a glance and tossed it back.
Anthony then carefully examined one and handed the other to Durken.
When Durken received it, he exclaimed in surprise, "White crystal processing technique, my goodness, it’s the white crystal processing technique."
Negris came over, confused, and asked, "What’s so special about it?"
"It’s incredibly special. I’ve been trying to develop this technique. Other than creating a few storage accessories, nothing else succeeded. I didn’t expect there to be ready-made ones here. This is great," Durken said, excited as could be.
Negris asked, "What’s so good about it? How is it different from your white crystal storage ring?"
Calming down, Durken said, "The white crystal storage rings I gave you before are dimension rings. Once you leave that dimension, they become useless. Can you still open the storage space?"
"No, I tried. Once we left the Land of Infinity, we couldn’t open them anymore," Ursman said.
"The Demon Crystals, we can process them into magic accessories. Magic shields, instant magic, all can be sealed in the Demon Crystal and applied to items, right?"
Everyone nodded.
"So why can’t they be applied to white crystal? White crystal is very hard, right? Much harder than Demon Crystal. White crystal can contain powerful energy, with an energy level just slightly weaker than the Incremental Body, right? What would happen if you made it into a sword or armor?" Durken said.
Don’t be fooled by how the Star Descendants are often bullied by Ange and others. That’s because Ange and his crew are too strong. Remove Ange, the Little Angel, Little Zombie, the Monarch Ancient Man Snake God Star, and the Star Descendants are almost the strongest species in the void.
Coating a watermelon with a layer of white crystal means that even a Sword Saint wouldn’t be able to cut through.
"And that’s not even the main advantage of white crystal. Its greatest advantage is its ability to virtualize," Durken said.
Everyone seemed to agree significantly, nodding profusely.
Why does Ange never use the Star Body? Even when assuming the form of a Star Descendant as his avatar?
Why does the Monarch frequently throw away his Star Body, switching to the Star Descendant form to roam with everyone? It’s because the Star Body cannot virtualize, while the Star Descendant can.
The void is vast and boundless. The ability to virtualize, to star shift, to soul shift, is the biggest advantage of Star Descendants. Otherwise, just like the Star Body, all time would be wasted slowly flying through space.
"So you plan to process the white crystal into various items that can virtualize and move with us, is that it?" Anthony asked.
Durken nodded and said, "Unfortunately, white crystal is very difficult to process. Because, in essence, it’s alive, like the soul of an undead. Nobody can guarantee that, during virtualization, the processed parts would retain their original functionality. We can only do cheap tricks like dimension calibration rings."
"But look, these white crystals are so large; obviously, they’ve been enlarged, and the processing method should be mature; everyone can do it, so it shouldn’t be too difficult," Durken concluded.
"Then hurry up and process some white crystal for us, so we can get storage accessories to bring to this world," Negris said.
Durken rolled his eyes and said, "I said it shouldn’t be too difficult, not that I’ve mastered it. Don’t expect me to learn how to process white crystal just by looking at this. You don’t think I’ll figure it out by fiddling with this thing, do you? Go and sell it for me."
