Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed
Chapter 300: Crimson Eclipse
The presence of the crimson blade drew a line in the sand between the two factions. The sheer weight of the weapon’s pressure rippled outward, causing the ambient energy to warp and twist.
’Huh?! Where did she get a god class weapon from?’ Nirvana thought with a deep frown, her eyes locked onto the radiating crimson steel. She had pride in her own arsenal, but the presence of Jessica’s weapon made her skin crawl with a sudden sense of inferiority.
"Seems the Sword Academy’s Team doesn’t want to lose to us." Grace muttered in a low voice, a competitive spark igniting in her eyes as she gripped her staff tighter.
High above the desecrated hallowed ground, the draconic beast woman who was hovering in the air slowly landed on the head of a huge black hawk. Her green eyes scanned the heavily armed students below, her initial arrogance giving way to an intense, calculating curiosity.
"Truly strange, I didn’t expect you guys to have so many powerful weapons," she said, her voice dripping with venomous amusement. "I now know why you have lasted this long."
She raised her hand, her long black scales catching the dim light of the cemetery, and pointed a finger at them.
"Kill them—"
WHOOSH!!!
Before her command could even echo through the valley of graves, the sky split open. A brilliant, blinding golden light flew from the heavens, descending towards her like a cataclysmic meteor.
"....?!"
Sensing the sudden, fatal danger, the lady looked above her, her draconic instincts screaming. "This?!!"
With a desperate burst of speed, she quickly leaped backward, abandoning her vantage point. A millisecond later, the golden light smashed into the huge Lv500 World Boss hawk. There was no struggle, no prolonged impact—the golden streak sliced cleanly through the creature, instantly cutting off the head of the huge beast.
"This?!!"
While suspended in the air from her retreat, the lady’s face contorted with absolute fury. She stretched her hand towards the descending golden light, her energy erupting in a toxic green wave. "DIE!! How dare you kill my Mount!!!"
WHOOSH!!!
Her ten legendary class swords shot forward in a lethal, rotating drill formation. But before they could even reach the core of the golden light, the space itself tore open. A localized space-rupturing slash collided right into the incoming weapons, effortlessly shattering five of them into worthless, glowing pieces.
"This?! PIFFF!!"
The lady vomited a mouthful of black blood as the violent magical backlash of losing five of her bound legendary swords ripped through her soul. Staggering through the air, she managed to fall on the back of another flying monster, her face pale.
"You?! You destroyed five legendary class swords with one slash?!" she asked in profound shock, wiping the trail of blood off her lips with a trembling hand.
WHOOSH!
The golden light shot down completely, smashing into the ground right in front of Hitachi and the rest of the stunned group. Chunks of asphalt and shattered tombstones erupted outward as the dust cloud settled.
Everyone watched in absolute disbelief as the blinding light faded, revealing Carl. He stood tall, his stance perfectly balanced, and in his right hand was the feathered golden dagger.
The beast woman stared at the weapon, and her breath hitched. ’Impossible... that aura... The Golden Angel family?! No way, they’re all dead. And that weapon! That’s the Angel dagger. How did such a weapon end up in this kid’s hand... No.’ Her eyes widened in pure, unadulterated horror as she put the pieces together.
’Is he the last descendant of that family?! Was he the one who killed the fifth guard?!’ She thought in horror, a cold sweat washing over her scaled skin. Realizing the existential threat before her, she pointed her finger desperately at the group.
"Kill them all!! Leave no one alive!!!"
With her frantic command, the entire swarm of thousands of monsters below lunged forward like a tidal wave of claws and teeth.
"Attack!!!" Carl yelled, his voice carrying the resonant authority of his newly awakened lineage. He shot forward like a golden bullet, and the stunned groups instantly snapped out of their shock, drawing their weapons and following right behind him into the fray.
__
BOOOOM!!
The collision of the two vanguard forces shook the very foundations of the borough. High above the chaos, Mirabella stood on the highest peak of the church roof. Her arms were crossed over her chest, her expression entirely serene as she watched the apocalyptic battle unfolding below. Sitting beside her on the stone edge was Cupcake, who seemed completely unfazed by the slaughter, busily licking her white paws.
[World Competition Announcement: Hitachi from the dragon academy’s team has completed both first and second Objectives.]
[World Competition Announcement: Austin from the dragon academy’s team has completed both first and second Objectives.]
[World Competition Announcement: Rose from the dragon academy’s team has completed both first and second Objectives.]
[World Competition Announcement: Carl from the dragon academy’s team has completed both first and second Objectives.]
System notifications illuminated the darkened sky in rapid succession. Mirabella listened to the announcements appearing one after another in the sky, her sharp gaze fixed entirely on the scaled lady standing on the flying monster.
"She isn’t a gate guard... Is she a lackey, or a subordinate?" Mirabella muttered to herself, analyzing the woman’s combat patterns.
Behind her, the god class sword Sunder began to vibrate violently in its sheath, thirsty for blood.
"Calm down," Mirabella said softly. "I know you just advanced to God class, but you can’t rush yourself... There are more monsters to kill and blood to drink. I believe after taking the blood of the four other guards, you will be one step closer to regaining your true class."
As if understanding her words, the sword instantly stopped vibrating, settling into a quiet hum.
’I finally understand these artifacts. Once a weapon reaches the Supreme Class, it gains its own intelligence... Just like Carl’s Angel dagger, and my golden palace,’ she muttered, watching the battlefield below. With every single one of Carl’s slashes, the space itself fractured, tearing the monsters apart before they could even scream.
’Carl is strong, but he shouldn’t reveal that dagger in Galaxy Fall... Greed is something we can’t avoid,’ she exhaled. Her gaze then shifted to Grace, who had isolated a massive cluster of the undead. Grace raised her ornate staff high into the air, her energy spiking.
"Black Hexagon Lightning!!!"
BOOOOM!!!
Instead of lightning dropping conventionally from the sky, a series of geometric, pitch-black lightning bolts burst out right from below the earth. The inversion caught the horde completely off guard, disintegrating hundreds of high-level monsters in an instant.
[World Competition Announcement: Grace from the dragon academy’s team has completed both first and second Objectives.]
’Grace’s new epic class Area of effect skill can’t be dodged by anyone weaker than her. Mainly because you won’t know when it will strike,’ Mirabella analyzed, a small smile of approval gracing her lips. She then turned her attention to Hitachi, who was moving through the dense clusters of monsters like a lethal crimson phantom; everywhere he moved, severed heads fell seamlessly to the ground.
Finally, she exhaled, her gaze drifting toward the other side of the cemetery, landing squarely on Jessica. The girl was operating like a machine, cutting down monsters like weeds with her translucent red sword.
’Just a little longer, I will surely set you free,’ Mirabella thought, her fingers tightening against her arms as she crossed them back over her chest, vowing to break whatever shackles around Jessica.
BAM!!!
The sudden, heavy sound of boots impacting stone echoed right on the roof behind her.
"Hehehe, why are you hiding here while others are fighting?! You think they can protect you?!" a mocking, arrogant voice sounded behind her, cutting through the wind.
