Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed
Chapter 314: The Abyss Stares Back
The majestic aura of the Golden Palace bathed the ruins in divine light, but the primordial entity standing on the shattered earth remained entirely unfazed. Void Calamity tilted her face upward.
"Mirabella, you are indeed strong, but why are you relying on external help?" Void Calamity said with a smirk, her words stunning Mirabella. The sheer arrogance of the primordial beast dismissing the laws of the universe was chilling.
’External help? Is it the system?’ Mirabella thought in disbelief, staring at the lady on the ground. To her, the system was the absolute law of reality; to this entity, it was merely an artificial crutch.
"Let me help you destroy that External help for a while, we will see if you will be this arrogant then." Void Calamity lightly tapped her foot on the ground.
The next moment:
SCREECH!!!!!!!!!!
A terrifying shriek shot sounded from the earth. It wasn’t just a physical noise; it was an anti-energy frequency. The sound waves cracked the ground, spreading in all directions and tearing through the fabric of the world’s integration.
{Warning Host!!}
{Damage Multiplier has been temporarily shut down.}
’Huh? This monster can actually affect the system? Not only that, it stopped the ability of the imperial bloodline with just a scream. Is a domain rank monster so powerful that even the system can’t protect against?’ She thought, her hand tightening on her sword. The realization that her ultimate bloodline could be muted by a raw, primordial roar completely disrupted her understanding of the evolutionary hierarchy.
"Now that your buffs are down. Let’s play." She said with a smirk, her red eyes flashing with abyssal intent, and vanished, shooting towards Mirabella with frightening speed that defied the physical limits of agility.
"Golden Palace!! Fire inferno!!"
BOOOOM!!
The supreme artifact answered its master’s call. The Golden Palace vibrated with ancient power as concentrated flames burst out from its Towers, shooting towards the charging monster like a meteor shower. The heat was enough to melt titanium into slag instantly.
"Hehehe! You think this can stop me?!" She increased her speed, and to Mirabella’s shock, the attack moved past Void Calamity, like a ghost walking through a wall. The entity was shifting her mass into the void dimension, bypassing the physical plane entirely.
"You!!"
Refusing to yield the airspace, Mirabella shot forward, drawing her weapon and meeting Void Calamity head-on in a clash of cosmic forces.
"You haven’t fully merged with the supreme Palace! It won’t be a threat to me!!" She yelled, reading the imperfect synchronization between the human and her artifact, as her corrupted claws smashed right into Mirabella’s blade.
BOOOOM!!!
The shockwave ruptured the clouds. Mirabella flew backward from the collision, flying towards the Palace, which emanated golden energy, acting as a divine net which caught her and stabilized her descent.
Mirabella wiped the blood off her lips, her mind rapidly calculating the battle data. ’This monster is crazy! I failed with my test, it’s indeed immune to all physical attacks... Oh well, that won’t stop me!!’
Mirabella kept Sunder back in her spatial storage, realizing that conventional god-class weaponry was useless against this creature. "I will show you I can still defeat you without my buffs!!"
Her now golden eyes glowed brightly, resonating with the absolute authority of her bloodline.
"I promised myself! This life, I won’t die a senseless death! I will acquire the powers to rule the world!! You can’t stop me!!!"
She yelled, pushing her energy reserves to the absolute breaking point. The sky fractured into a kaleidoscope of elemental destruction as one thousand phantom swords, and one thousand arrows, with hundreds of poisonous, fire, lightning, light, earth, darkness, water and wind blades and energy balls appeared all over the place. She was commanding the very building blocks of the Galaxy Fall universe.
"This? You have so many elemental skills! Even the whole Elements are under your command?" Void Calamity asked in surprised, staring at the thousands of attacks hovering in the sky like an executioner’s armada.
"You do know these attacks will level this city, will you take that risk?" She asked, weaponizing Mirabella’s potential empathy for the world below.
"Are you scared for your food! Don’t worry, I will make sure to destroy everything related to you!!" Mirabella yelled, rejecting the emotional bait. As a forthcoming sovereign, she knew sacrifices were necessary to excise a primordial rot. And with one command, she dropped all the attacks towards the lady.
’You have 90% reduction to magical attacks. But if all these drop on you, even if you have this buffs, it’ll be useless.’ Mirabella thought, staring at Void Calamity. It was a brutal, mathematical strategy: overwhelm the percentage mitigation with pure, infinite volume.
"Hehehehe... You actually threatened me with these." Void Calamity raised both hands into the air, accepting the challenge of mass destruction.
"Then let’s compare skills." She said, manipulating the ambient dark energy as one hundred condensed dark energy balls appeared above her.
’Those are the same attacks it used against us in the cave.’ Mirabella slowly nods her head, predicting the trajectory, and stretched a hand towards Void Calamity.
"Give up all struggles and accept your death." She said. Her mastery over the earth element took hold as the ground erupted violently. Thick, enchanted black roots shot out from the ground, shooting into the sky, and binding Void Calamity’s legs with unbreakable natural law.
"DIE!!!"
BOOOOOOM!!!
All the attacks smashed right into Void Calamity. The overlapping elemental detonations triggered a catastrophic chain reaction. The collision caused a massive mushroom cloud of superheated plasma and vaporized rock, the destruction wiping out 30 square miles of Queens, turning the whole land into a sea of roaring flames.
Mirabella floated above the apocalyptic inferno. ’Is this monster dead?’ She thought, moving her gaze around the place, scanning for any residual life signs in the crater.
The next moment, her hair stood on end, as a dark figure appeared seamlessly behind her, stepping right straight from the void without triggering a single spatial ripple.
Before her agility could even process the threat or trigger an evasion skill, a cold, merciless hand smashed right into her back, bursting out from her chest in an explosion of blood and shattered bone.
PUFF!
Mirabella vomited a mouthful of blood, staring at the red eyes woman, hovering directly behind her.
"How?" She asked, her voice failing as her vitality plummeted.
"Hehehe... Don’t you know why I am known as Void Calamity?" She asked with a smirk. The entity leaned in close and licked Mirabella’s neck, tasting her blood. The monster’s intimate, terrifying action freezing her in place. Mirabella’s eyes widened in sheer panic, as previous memories flashed through her mind, overlapping with the visceral reality of the present—the exact way she died in her previous life. The absolute helplessness. The betrayal of her flesh.
But instead of succumbing to the despair of the past, the trauma acted as a catalyst.
"I told you." She clenched her fists, overriding the shock of the fatal blow as pure, volatile red energy spread out from her core, violently entering Void Calamity’s arm trapped inside her chest:
"....?!"
