Global Awakening: Infinite Gift Pack System
Chapter 241: Steady Supply
Kai pressed the activation switch, and the generator’s panel lit up with a faint vibration...
Soon, the vents of the device began pulling in air, condensation forming inside the chamber. Within moments, droplets trickled into the reservoir, gathering into a steady stream.
[ Atmospheric Water Generator (Unique): A portable device capable of extracting moisture directly from the air. Produces clean, drinkable water even in arid environments. Output increases in humid conditions. ]
[ Note: Requires steady power input. Consumes 1 C‑Grade Core to function for approximately 6 hours. Provides a continuous supply of water during operation, with output depending on the surrounding humidity. ]
The survivors gasped as the first drops splashed into a dented tin cup.
"This..."
Steven’s hands trembled as he lifted it, staring at the clear liquid. He took a sip, and his eyes widened.
"It’s... fresh. Real water."
Just like that, many of them, including the handful of children, rushed forward, guided by their mothers... They were holding cracked bowls and chipped jars.
Seeing this pitiful scene, Kai adjusted the nozzle, letting the stream flow steadily into their containers.
Then, while doing so, he looked at the group of Foreign Survivors.
Well, they were recognizable since they were wearing the Survivor Gear Set given by the system.
"As you can see, as long as you feed it a C‑Grade Core, it will run for about six hours," Kai explained.
"During that time, it will keep producing water. Enough for everyone here, if you guard it properly."
The crowd celebrated as soon as they heard this.
They were still hungry, but having water was already a good start. At the very least, one problem was sorted out.
Furthermore, with their products produced from the blue grass, they should be able to trade it for some food from these compassionate Survivors.
Just like that, some of them couldn’t contain their emotions. They started crying while some of them were laughing, with a few others kneeling in relief.
A woman clutched her child, whispering thanks.
An older man also fell to his knees with tears streaming down his face as he cupped water in his hands.
This time, Mei and the others really realized how grateful they were to be part of Kai’s Guild.
If not for the resources Kai could produce through the gift packs, they might also be in a similar situation... lacking food and water, eventually draining them as well.
Mei sighed as she saw the situation... "They’ve probably been rationing drops for weeks."
Claire nodded as she started taking out her packed food from the inventory as well. She just couldn’t bear seeing those children so malnourished.
"Kai... Are you going to sell them food as well? For now, I can give a few of my packs for donation. I want the children to have them."
Kai smiled after seeing this.
"Don’t worry. I’m planning to give them some food as well."

At this time, Steven, one of the Foreign Survivors in this shelter, wiped his mouth after drinking... "This generator... it’s worth more than we imagined. We’ll pay the five Survivor Medals you asked for."
As he said this, he immediately took out five of his medals and gave them to Kai without hesitation.
He had no idea how Kai obtained something like this.
Beside him, Vera and Juno exchanged glances before stepping forward.
Vera held out a small pouch. Inside were several vials filled with a dull blue liquid.
"We don’t have much food left, but we’ve been making potions from the blue grass. These are called Soul Boosters... They help recover Spirit Points and provide healing for minor injuries... they’re crude, but they work. If you’re willing, we’ll trade these for more food."
Apparently, the blue grass around them wasn’t just for decoration. It was the main reason why they had settled in this shelter. Unfortunately, these products do not help with their satiety.
For now, Kai studied the vials calmly.... He knew they had no idea about his Infinite Gift Pack system... that he could produce as many Food Gift Packs as he wanted. But revealing that would only weaken his bargaining position.
"Potions, huh?" Kai muttered, picking one up and swirling the liquid inside.
He then used his fast appraisal.
[ Fast Appraisal Activated ]
[ Spirit Point Cost: 10 ]
[ Cooldown: 15 seconds ]
Soon, he got the information that he needed.
"Let’s see what we have here..."
[ You have discovered Soul Booster Potion! ]
[ Grade: Rare Consumable ]
[ Description: A 10mL potion brewed from processed blue soul grass. Restores 30 Spirit Points and accelerates recovery from minor injuries. Crude in refinement, but effective for short‑term survival. ]
[ Note: Single‑use consumable. Recovery effects last for approximately 15 minutes. Overconsumption may cause dizziness or nausea. ]
Kai gently nodded as he read through the appraisal. "Hmm... not bad. It’s rough, but it works. Spirit recovery and minor healing... "
Steven and Vera waited nervously for his judgment.
Kai finally nodded. "Alright. I’ll accept these potions as part of the trade. Survivor Medals and Soul Boosters in exchange for the water generator and the food packs."
Relief washed over the survivors. Vera clutched the pouch tighter, grateful that their crude alchemy had worth.
Even though they didn’t know how much food they would get, they were still happy with this transaction.
After all, they believed that these people wouldn’t scam them.

Soon, Kai learned that the survivors could provide him with a total of 12 Survivor Medals and 32 Soul‑Booster Potions.
With that in mind, Kai decided to be generous.
Twelve Medals were extremely useful for him, after all.
"Alright," Kai said calmly. "I’ll accept the Medals and the potions. In return, I’ll give you food and water packs. But I’ll need a safe room to store everything."
Steven nodded quickly. "There’s one room that wasn’t completely destroyed. It’s secure enough."
Kai followed him to the shelter’s interior. The room was cracked and worn, but the walls still held firm. It was enough.
Just like that, Kai began unloading his supplies. One by one, the packs materialized, filling the room.
He decided to give them, 10 Basic Food Gift Packs, 5 Enhanced Food Gift Packs, 5 Superior Food Gift Packs, 5 Enhanced Water Gift Packs, and finally, 1 Superior Water Gift Pack.
Just like that, the room was overflowing with resources...
However, Kai knew that he couldn’t miss this opportunity...
’I want that steady supply of Soul Boosters...’
