Nora’s eyes widened in surprise and she froze as though her body had truly been frozen in ice.

Her eyes didn’t even blink for a full minute as she tried to make sense of the amazing thing that had just happened to her lips.

Her hand slowly rose to her lips but her eyes remained wide open, however her tail was already displaying the immense happiness she was feeling from the inside.

Meanwhile, Austin noticed his dazed and extremely cute wolfkin wife’s wagging tail and he smiled, understanding the myriad of emotions coursing through her body right now.

So, Austin swiftly pulled himself out of bed while saying. "I’ll be back in a jiffy, okay?"

Nora nodded absentmindedly, but Austin suddenly stopped at the door when he recalled something important.

"Um, Nora? Your birthday is in three days, right? How about we go on a date that day. It would just be the two of us, walking around town and doing whatever we want. How’s that?"

Hearing this, Nora’s eyes finally moved as they darted toward Austin’s direction.

However, she was still shocked by what he had done earlier, so she couldn’t really summon the courage to give him a response, but her tail had definitely increased its wagging behind her, and that was all the confirmation Austin needed to see.

"I’ll take that as a yes then. Alright, Nora, I’ll be back before you know it." Austin said with a smile before stepping out of the room, leaving Nora behind.

The beautiful wolfkin slowly lifted her hand to her lips again as the realisation of everything that had happened finally stormed through her mind.

The pet names Austin had given her, his desire to bring her breakfast in bed, the fact that Austin had remembered her birthday and wanted them to have a date that day, and to top it all off, Austin had just given her her first kiss as well.

Everything finally dawned on her and Nora’s face instantly turned red as she buried her face into the bed to suppress her squealing while her feet kicked happily behind her.

Meanwhile, outside the room where Nora was still squealing in happiness, a new screen had popped up in front of Austin.

’Wow. The rewards have truly skyrocketed.’ Austin uttered in surprise as he felt a sudden warmth spreading through his body, indicating that he had indeed leveled up.

’The previous reward I got was a 50 unit increase in both power value and mana, but now it’s 200 units.’

’If this is the reward for my unofficial wife’s affection, I wonder if it would increase to 300 or possibly 1,000 units once Nora becomes my official wife.’

Time passed and the two were finally done eating, but while they were no longer eating, Austin suddenly noticed Nora staring at her hands, clenching them softly and releasing them right after.

She was currently standing by the windowsill and Austin could see the worried and puzzled look on her face, so he asked. "Is something wrong?"

However, Nora hadn’t heard what Austin had asked.

She was too focused on what she was doing.

Nora curled her fingers once again as she realised that she was right about what she had been thinking about since she began eating breakfast that morning.

She had also felt the same thing last night as well.

Just before the thieves had appeared last night, Nora had felt a sudden warmth in her body.

At the time she didn’t really think much about it, because she thought it was just a simple warmth that had built up due to how she was cuddling up to Austin, but the same warmth appeared that morning, and this time around, Nora was certain that she must have leveled up, because the feeling she felt was similar to what she usually felt whenever she had indeed leveled up.

So that left a really big question in her mind.

How the hell had she really leveled up?

Were the thieves she defeated the little requirements she had needed to level up to her current level?

Nora pondered about this, but she couldn’t help but wonder if something else might have played a huge role in her leveling up so fast overnight.
