Chapter 13: 13. Naughty Girls Get No Kisses.

Meanwhile, Austin noticed Nora had still not answered his question, probably because she was so deep in her thoughts, so he decided to take matters into his own hands.

....Literally.

And so, with a bold smile on his face, Austin got up from the bed he was sitting on to walk up behind Nora, who was still lost deep in her thoughts.

Then he slowly wrapped his arms around her waist, causing Nora to jolt up in surprise as she said. "Huh?.... Young mast..... I mean...." Nora’s cheeks turned pink as she recalled how Austin had asked her to refer to him.

"So, my wife still won’t call me hubby or darling, huh." Austin teased her as he watched her cheeks grow even more crimson.

"Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to keep calling Nora my beautiful wife every morning until she decides to call me husband at least." Austin grinned and kissed her cheek softly before resting his chin on her shoulder.

Since it would take time for Nora to get used to calling him husband, Austin wasn’t going to force her to say it so suddenly, and Nora appreciated this as she grinned whilst enjoying the comfort of having his arms wrapped around her.

And Austin was absolutely loving it as well.

The feeling of her sweet scent, her soft body, and her extremely soft rump pressing against his pelvis and little brother.

Everything felt amazing!!!!

’Focus.’ Austin swiftly scolded himself before Nora noticed the bulge rising behind her soft buttocks.

"So, what’s been bothering my beautiful wife, for her not to have noticed me asking her a question earlier?"

"Huh?"

"I asked you a question earlier but you were simply staring at your hands. Are your hands more handsome and good-looking than my face? Do I need to be worried about your hands? Because I totally would be, since no one besides me must have your undivided attention, okay?" Austin swiftly planted three kisses on her cheeks and Nora giggled before saying.

"Hehehe..... It’s not what you were thinking. I was just looking at my hands because I feel I might have leveled up."

"Really?" Austin asked as though he hadn’t known about this already.

"Y-yeah."

"That’s great news, my love. I’m so happy for you."

"Really?"

"Of course. My wife has just leveled up to level 5, why wouldn’t I be happy to celebrate this new achievement with you? Don’t you know how rare it is to see a level 5 enhancer in this little kingdom of ours? So of course I’ll be happy and proud to have a strong and powerful wife by my side." Austin announced as he tightened his grip around Nora’s waist whilst pouring kisses across both her cheeks.

Nora giggled as Austin showed her how happy he really was to hear the good news, and this reminded Nora once again that Austin had truly changed a lot.

In the past, whenever his parents had praised her for leveling up, the previous host would always be upset by the news, and it would always make her feel sad as well, to see him so upset about something he was supposed to feel happy about.

After all, she had always been doing it for him.

But now, seeing him so affectionate and happy about this made her feel so loved.

Nora smiled even more as she leaned further into his embrace before noticing a certain someone walking down the street.

"Oh, that’s him."

"Who?"

"He’s the liar who tricked me into buying those potions last night." Nora pointed at a lanky middle-aged man whose appearance looked like someone who would definitely be involved in shady businesses.

Nora clenched her fists as she watched him walking up to his potion store. "If master hadn’t stopped me last night, I probably would have....mmm." Nora moaned softly when she felt Austin’s teeth nibbling on her cute wolf ear.

"Didn’t I warn you not to call me master anymore?"

"Y-yesh, I’m sowwy....mmm." Nora pleaded whilst moaning and Austin couldn’t help but find it adorable.

His wife was the best!!!

"Good girl. So if you call me that again then you won’t be receiving any more kisses from me for a month."

"What?..... No..."

"Yep, naughty girls get no kisses. I’ve made up my mind. Though I’ll still call you beautiful every morning and I’ll rain kisses across your face, but if you call me that again, then you’ll get no kisses for a month."

Hearing this, Nora’s face turned from shock to fear of missing out on kisses for a whole month.

Her face instantly became stern as she made a mental note to become brave enough to call Austin husband or darling.

Meanwhile, Austin noticed the changed expression on her face and he grinned as his arms hugged his beautiful wife affectionately while he stared down at the street below.

But as he did, Austin’s eyes darted to the store next to the lying potion store.

And just like that trickster’s store, the other one seemed to be a potion store as well.

"Wasn’t that other store open last night when you tried getting the healing potion?" Austin asked.

"Yes it was, but they weren’t selling healing potions, only mana replenishing potions, so I didn’t even bother entering the store."

"Oh, that makes sense."

"But I heard that store hasn’t been having customers in recent years, so most of the potions in there have been sitting on their shelves for years without anyone coming over to buy anything." Nora explained, and Austin stared at the store’s signpost.

"Elvenheart Mana-Regenerating Potion Branch Store." Austin muttered softly.

He muttered the name again and he couldn’t help but feel like he had heard the name before.

He tried navigating within his newly acquired memories and everything began to make sense to him.

The store was once a popular source of mana-regenerating potions for centuries.

They were known for providing 3% impurity-free mana-regenerating potions, but when a competing store arrived, it produced 8% impurity-free mana-regenerating potions that completely drew people’s attention away from the Elvenheart mana-regenerating potion stores scattered across the kingdom.

"Wait a minute. That’s it!!" Austin suddenly realised something as he pulled away from Nora.
