Chapter 759: Chapter 759. Arriving

The Venzula Empire was divided into thirty continents. The empire occupied the complete Venzula planet, which spanned the size of ten stars. There were quadrillions of transcendents living here. The land mass of each continent would be as large as a solar system in the light region or edge region of the universe.

The Venzula planet was a very large planet. However, this was something normal in the chaotic region of the universe when it came to the size of planets. Even the planets which each of the empires surrounding the Venzula Empire were on, was as large as the Venzula planet.

Anyway, the continents of the Venzula Empire were named the Southern Continent, the Northern Continent, the Eastern Continent, the Western Continent, and the Central Region. The Central Region of the Venzula Empire contained the remaining continents. The remaining continents were named in order as the 5th Continent, the 6th Continent—in that manner—up to the 30th Continent.

Currently, several airships could be seen headed towards the 15th Continent, one of the continents in the Central Region. The 15th Continent was at the very center of even the Central Region, and hence, it was the continent that was at the centermost region of the Venzula Empire/Planet. The 15th Continent was where the capital of the Venzula Empire, Chrysanthemum City, was located.

Chrysanthemum City was where the Venzula Empire Academy, the Venzula Royal Family, the National/Venzula Guild Union general HQ, the Venzula Law Enforcement Agency general HQ, and the Venzula National Bank general HQ were all located. There were also several large guilds, assassin syndicates, intelligence organizations, and mercenary organisations of importance located especially at the capital city of the 15th Continent. However, their influence and power paled significantly to the five major powers of the empire.

At this moment, somewhere in the skies across a forest region, several individuals were seated in an airship. Having arrived in the 15th Continent, they were currently headed towards the capital city. This group was naturally Kailen, Julian, Dawnseer, Lotus, and the higher-ups of the Southern Continent head branch of the NGU bringing them to the 15th Continent.

Their journey had been uneventful so far. No assassination ploys had been launched against them... so far. It had been a week since they left the Southern Continent. Their journey had been quite fast. One of the higher-ups of the NGU with them was a space principle user. The person had kept making tears in space for them and shortening distances of travel. However, it had still taken them a week to reach the 15th Continent. And it would take them some few hours to arrive at Chrysanthemum City, the capital.

At this moment, one of the NGU higher-ups in the spaceship squinted his eyes.

"What’s wrong?" Lotus asked. She was a Rank 5 novice-stage transcendent powerhouse just like the person who had squinted his eyes, so they could communicate like equals.

"My colleague covertly observing the surroundings for any signs of assassins just sent a thought transmission to me. There are some assassins nearby. They’ve been following us for a while," the NGU higher-up replied.

Kailen and Julian were calm. However, they were each devising methods to escape this situation. They didn’t have plans on relying on these powerhouses. If worst came to worst, they would all focus on preserving their lives and leave Kailen and Julian to their deaths, after all. Dawnseer was also thinking along these lines.

"Don’t worry, he can handle them," the man added.

"If he can get the name of the guild responsible for this before he eliminates them, it would do a lot of good," Dawnseer added.

Kailen shook his head. He knew Dawnseer made this request on his behalf. However, he didn’t think it was necessary.

"I don’t think that is necessary, senior. These assassination ploys are definitely happening everywhere. It’s nothing personal. Besides, we will definitely be engaged with the other representatives sooner or later," Kailen said. "At this point, a clash to death, regardless of the nature of the competition, is most likely possible when the competition begins. Everyone knows that everyone is trying to assassinate everyone. Finding who is personally responsible changes nothing."

Everyone nodded. They found Kailen’s reasoning pragmatic and clinically cold... but sound.

A few moments later, one of the NGU higher-ups spoke, relieved, "It’s been handled."

Everyone nodded. However, everyone was on their guard throughout the journey to Chrysanthemum City. They passed forested regions, mountains, rivers, islands, lakes. Several airships would eventually pass them on their journey, also headed to the capital city.

Very soon, they saw several skyscrapers in the distance. A very large city boasting opulence, might, flamboyance, and the liveliness of sentient life came into view. To Kailen, this city would be considered three times the size of Earth, his home planet, back in the light region of the universe. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

"The Western region of the city is where the Venzula Empire Academy is," one of the NGU higher-ups explained as a holographic map of the city appeared before him. No one asked him to explain anything. But he figured it would be helpful for these fellows new to the city to have an overview of this place.

"The Northern region of the city is where the Venzula Royal Family and the royal palace of the Venzula Empire is located. The Eastern part of the city is where the guilds, mercenary organisations, intelligence organisations, and assassin syndicates are located. The Southern part of the city is where the Venzula National Bank general HQ and the Venzula Law Enforcement Agency general HQ are located. It’s also where the Venzula/National Guild Union general HQ, where we are currently headed, is located. There are also a lot of recreational centres in the Southern part of the city, such as bars, restaurants, hotels, among others."

Kailen and Julian, the ones who had not been here before, nodded in understanding.

The airship glided across the skies, reaching the city. It flowed along a certain traffic stream in the skies, heading towards the Southern part of the magnificent city where the National Guild Union General HQ was.
