He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact
Chapter 825. Head of the Tactician Unit 2
Venzula Empire Academy.
Staff registration District.
In a skyscraper.
"Congratulations to our new professors. We look forward to working with you," the Vice Principal spoke to Kailen and the new professors.
The other professors also acknowledged them.
"Thank you, Senior and fellow professors," they replied.
"Without wasting any more time, let’s get straight to business," she added. "The war with the Royal Family is imminent. We will all be playing our various roles. We should head to the war council as soon as possible. Some announcements, as well as the details of the war, will be communicated there."
Without wasting any time, Dawnseer led them to a very large villa located somewhere in the staff Residential District.
It was on a snowy mountain peak with thick misty clouds above it.
The Vice Principal led them into the villa.
They were led into a very large conference room.
The moment they entered the conference room, all eyes traced towards them.
Morgana nodded to everyone and proceeded to sit next to Principal Luther.
Principal Luther nodded at the arrival of the group of people who had just arrived. This group included Kailen, the other three who participated in the competition with him, and several other professors.
"Kindly have your seats, ladies and gentlemen."
Kailen and the others proceeded to take their seats.
"Congratulations to our new professors," Principal Luther said.
"Thank you, Senior," they replied.
Kailen scanned the room.
He noticed Julian. Julian nodded towards him warmly and Kailen nodded back with warmth.
He also noticed Julian’s master, Orthos Harven, the NGU President, and his wife, Mara Harven.
Dawnseer, Lotus, Skynet Osiris, the president of the Skynet Intelligence Agency from Richtchard City, and even Dexter Hemsworth, the former mayor of Richtchard City were here.
"They chose the academy’s side," Kailen nodded.
As for the other people in the room, apart from the Vice Principal, Austere, the professor he had encountered when he visited the registration district of the academy to register as a student, some of the professors he had encountered at the secret realm entrance at the Latis Belt, and those he had gone to the Meridian Oceanic Empire with, he was unfamiliar with the rest.
Many eyes flashed with admiration and respect as they fell on Kailen for a moment.
So this was the most famous person in the Tesla Domain currently.
Kailen’s tyrannical feat of slaughtering those at the pinnacle of rank 5 novice stage Transcendents in the Tesla Domain was still fresh in their memories.
How terrifying had he become, now that he was at the rank 6 novice stage Transcendent level?
They also glanced in the direction of the three who had returned from the secret realm with Kailen and nodded in admiration towards them.
"For the sake of familiarity, let’s introduce ourselves again."
Several individuals stood up and introduced themselves.
Some were the heads of mercenary organisations, some assassin syndicates, and some were the heads of guilds in the capital.
Many professors were even guild owners themselves. An example was Austere Caramanova, who owned a guild.
Everyone introduced themselves, including Kailen.
After that, the Principal nodded.
"Very well, thank you all for being present and for choosing to side with the academy. We trust that together, we will have victory at the end of this war. I would also like to announce that I’ve officially stepped into the rank 1 intermediate stage transcendent level."
"Congratulations to you sir!"
"This is great news."
Several nodded and expressed their profound respect and happiness. With the principal having stepped into the rank 1 intermediate stage Transcendent level, victory was no longer out of sight.
"However," he continued, "Empress Venzula Huros has also stepped into the rank 1 intermediate stage Transcendent level."
So the rumors were true.
She had really broken through.
The room turned a bit heavy.
Luther spoke, "Before we continue with the meeting, I would like to make an official announcement, as this meeting cannot proceed without it."
Everyone quietened.
He looked in Kailen’s direction.
"I’m sure we are all aware of Mr Darkhaven’s feats in the light region before he became a Transcendent and entered the chaotic region."
Everyone nodded. This was public news circulating everywhere in the Tesla Domain at the moment.
"Good. We are all aware that his unique tactical abilities allowed him to perform several unpredictable and staggering feats in the light region, before he became a transcendent, earning him the name, the Mad Tactician. Alongside that, we’ve all witnessed his use of tactical prowess at an uncanny level, even during the NGU competitions. This is why the Academy Council proposes that he is made the Head of the Tactician Unit in the upcoming war with the Royal Family. Does anyone have any objections?"
The room was silent for a moment.
It seemed the Principal had a lot of faith in Mr Darkhaven.
Many stared at Kailen. He was calm, as usual. Most likely, he had been nicodemously informed about this arrangement prior to this meeting. There was no way he would not be informed about such a major decision beforehand. This meant that he had most likely agreed.
They realised they were being informed for the sake of formality.
But, they didn’t really have a problem with it.
Just as Principal Luther had just said, he was the best person for this role. No one could fill this role better than him.
Soon, murmurs and nods of approval spread across the room.
"We agree."
"It’s the best choice."
"Mr Darkhaven is perfectly fit for this role."
The Principal nodded.
"Very good. Mr Darkhaven..." He turned to look at Kailen, "This role means you are the chief tactician in this war. You decide how our troops are distributed, when we attack, when we retreat and when we operate covertly or openly. You decide which commander leads which unit. I’m sure you know the gist of what I’m trying to communicate?"
Kailen nodded politely, eyes calm, composed. "Yes, senior."
"Please, do you agree? You will be the chief brain of this war. I will even have to personally follow your arrangements. A single mishap on your end could cost us everything."
Kailen nodded. "I understand. I agree."
The Principal nodded. Everyone nodded.
Kailen knew he could not afford to mess up better than anyone else. If his actions led to the victory of the royal family, he would definitely lose his life.
He had Arrie waiting back home in the light region for him. He could not return back until he killed the six vimodial seats.
How could he die in a civil war between two powers of a single empire?
No one knew how far Kailen was willing to go to win this war. No one knew how far he was willing to go to eliminate the royal family of the Venzula Empire.
Soon, they would find out.
