"Very well, since the head of the tactical unit has been decided, let’s invite Mr Darkhaven to give us an overview of how we will proceed with the war."

Several rounds of applause softly wafted across the place.

Kailen stood up and proceeded to stand before everyone.

"Thank you, Principal Luther," Kailen nodded to the principal, after which he turned to face everyone.

"First of all, we need to understand the official terrain where the war will be happening. Principal Luther, has that been decided yet?" Kailen asked.

The principal said, "Yes... a few days ago, we received a letter from the royal family. They suggested Blood Tide Island. Officially, we will begin a week from now. In order to avoid dealing any form of damage to the empire’s lands, this place was suggested by the royal family as the location for the war.

This is to ensure that whoever is the winner of the war is able to keep the institutions and resources of the other faction. Just because we are at war does not mean we should destroy systems that could become very resourceful to the winning power," he continued. "However, we are yet to respond to them. We were waiting for this war council to convene before a decision is made."

Blood Tide Island, huh.

An island surrounded by crimson oceans and terrifying chaotic beasts.

It was located northwest of the 15th continent and stood apart from the other continents of the empire.

It was the perfect place for the war, if the two powers did not want to destroy the lands of the empire, everyone thought.

"I think we should agree to this proposal," Kailen said.

This place aligned completely with his plan.

"Why do you think so, Mr Darkhaven?" Orthos Harven asked a question that was on everyone’s minds.

A tactician always had a reason for any decision they made when it came to war.

"The terrain is in alignment with a plan I am thinking of," Kailen said. "But before the plan, we need to assign divisions, commanders and division heads."

Everyone nodded.

Kailen went ahead to request for the profile of everyone present. They sent it to him. That way, he understood their strengths and weaknesses.

He started assigning divisions.

The divisions were named:

The Combat Division.

The Intelligence Division.

And the Assassins Division.

These three divisions were each divided into ten units.

Each of the units of each division would be headed by a very powerful rank 6 novice stage Transcendent who would report to one of three commanders and their assistants.

All the heads of each combat unit were to report to Principal Luther. Principal Luther would be the head of the Combat Division, assisted by Orthos Harven, NGU president.

All the heads of each intelligence unit were to report to Axis, the head of the Axis Intelligence Agency. Axis would be the commander of the Intelligence unit.

Axis would be assisted by Osiris Skynet, the head of the Skynet Intelligence Agency.

All the heads of each assassin unit would report to Morgana. Morgana would be the head of the Assassin’s division. She would be assisted by Lotus.

Everyone at the hall was a rank 6 novice stage Transcendent now. Apart from the three commanders and Kailen, every other person would be a unit head.

The academy students, and members of the various organisations of each powerhouse in the room would be distributed across the various units of the three divisions.

"Since that’s decided, let’s discuss the plan I have in mind," Kailen said.

A holographic image displaying Blood Tide Island came into view.

The holographic image scanned through the entire Island. Forests. Mountains. Chaotic beasts lurking in mountains and forests.

The view stretched outwards towards the crimson oceans surrounding the island. Several chaotic beasts roamed in and out of the oceans. They were of different shapes, sizes and body structures.

The view paused when several chaotic beasts came into view.

Everyone looked at Kailen. What was he about to say? What did his plan involve?

Julian stared at Kailen.

What did this crazy guy have in mind?

"These chaotic beasts should be at least rank 6 novice stage chaotic beasts. The Blood Tide Island is known to have a large number of rank 6, rank 7 novice stage chaotic beasts and rank 1 intermediate stage chaotic beasts."

Everyone listened.

"What I’m about to say will be our ace in the hole," Kailen continued. "We will make use of the chaotic beasts to get rid of several troops of the royal family."

The room turned silent.

What sort of crazy plan was this?

Did this guy want them all to die?

Also, how the hell was he expecting them to pull something like this off?

Kailen glanced across the room. From the principal, to everyone. They all had one thought.

"They think I’m crazy, huh. Can’t blame them."

Kailen had used this plan before, during a simulation in the pocket world when he was in the light region of the universe before he became a Transcendent. Currently, he was only 75 percent sure he could pull it off. He was not 100 percent sure it would work this time because he utilized it on intermediate stage universe level diabolic beasts back then in the pocket world in a simulation in the light region before he became a transcendent. But, chaotic beasts,creatures belonging to the chaotic region were different.

But he was willing to take a gamble. What other choice did he have? A crazy glint flashed through his eyes. If this plan worked, this war would end before it even began.

"I intended to hide the plan till during the war. But from the expressions on their faces, I can’t leave them in the dark. They at least deserve to know the plan. That will actually secure adequate preparations," Kailen thought.

"There’s this creature called the Aquamarine Herculean Crab. It dwells in sea regions with crimson waters. Its blood is a natural bait to sea creatures dwelling in sea regions with crimson waters, drawing them to their blood" Kailen continued. "The Blood Tide Island has crimson waters. So, Aquamarine Herculean crabs are definitely there.

We only need to acquire the blood of several of these creatures in the sea of the Blood Tide Island. During the war, I will give the command for the blood of these creatures to be poured on the royal family members. The creatures will do the rest."

Everyone was silent.

Where did he get this information from?

But... during their research about Kailen Darkhaven concerning when he was in the light region, one thing they learnt was that he was that his methods were very unconventional.

Perhaps, this was one of those unconventional approaches?

Maybe he discovered this information during some sort of expedition?

That was plausible. After all, the universe was full of mysterious and strange things.

But...

"Doesn’t that mean we will have to kill rank 6 novice stage, rank 7 novice stage, and rank 1 intermediate stage chaotic beasts?" One of the professors said what everyone was thinking.

Wasn’t this literally asking for a death sentence?

They may be strong, but the Chaotic beasts in the Blood Tide Island oceans were too terrifying. Plus, only the principal was at the rank 1 intermediate stage Transcendent level. How were they supposed to deal with rank 1 intermediate stage Chaotic beasts?

"Yes. That’s basically what I’m getting at," Kailen said with an innocent expression on his face. It was as if what he was asking them to do was very normal, as if they were being told to take a walk in the park.

The place was silent.

Everyone sighed deeply.

They now understood why Kailen Darkhaven was called the Mad Tactician.

This guy was simply a madman.
