He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact
Chapter 827. Assigning tasks
"So... do we all agree?" Kailen asked.
Could they even say they didn’t? Everyone thought.
He was literally the chief commander in this war. How could they oppose him?
Everyone sighed and nodded. "We agree."
Kailen nodded.
"We need to have a primary base of operations where the Tactical Unit/ Central Command will operate from" he said. "Some transcendents from the combat division and assassins division will guard this base of operations. This base of operations has to be completely far away from the empire, in a place no one expects it to be so that central command during the war will not be breached. The royal family will target Central command through assassinations. If central command is breached, everything will fall into disorder. What suggestions do we have?"
Conversations spread across the room as several individuals came up with different suggestions across the empire. Kailen listened to all the suggestions quietly.
"All these suggestions are wonderful. However, I’m certain the royal family is definitely thinking along these lines," Kailen said. "There’s a reason why they have ruled the empire for generations. They are adept at political schemes, and anticipating such situations. We can’t afford to choose anywhere in the empire. In fact, we can’t even make use of Blood Tide Island."
"Are you suggesting..." Austere said.
Julian added, "Outside the empire?"
Kailen nodded. "Yeah. Even with that, it can’t be somewhere the royal family is anticipating. They will most likely anticipate we will choose somewhere in outer space, between the borders of the Venzula Empire and the other empires. That’s why we won’t choose such a place for this."
Everyone nodded.
This fellow was really terrifying. His tactical abilities were something else. He was even anticipating contingencies the royal family could come up with, and what they would anticipate in case they made certain decisions.
"So where do you suggest?" Dawnseer asked.
"200 light years outside the Tesla Domain."
This... what... the hell was up with this guy... Why were his ideas so crazy? They had been thinking he would mention somewhere covert in the territory of another empire in the Tesla Domain or something...
But to think this was what he would say...
On a serious note... they understood him.
If they chose somewhere in the territory of another empire, the particular empire would discover them, and the consequences would be dire. That was a bad idea.
Kailen used emotional resonance to glean their thoughts from their facial emotional expressions. He figured they were getting why he suggested outside the Tesla Domain. He continued.
"There are several celestial bodies 200 light years outside the Tesla Domain. Plus, the place is not occupied by any empire. So we won’t be breaching any empire’s territory. We could build the Tactical Unit/Central command there."
The hologram shifted from the Blood Tide Island to somewhere in the starry sea, outside the Tesla Domain. A horizontal line traced outward to 200 light years outside the Tesla Domain. Several celestial bodies like moons, asteroids were clustered across the place.
"As you can see... There are a lot of moons there. We can simply build Central Command underground in one of the moons," Kailen continued. "The royal family won’t think we will be crazy enough to establish a base outside the Tesla Domain, especially when there are rank 7 novice stage chaotic beasts lurking there in large quantities," Kailen added. "They, however, don’t know that we will build this base of operations underground."
Everyone understood. There was nothing wrong with Kailen’s plan. It was quite phenomenal.
"That leads us to our next objective. Sending Intelligence Division members to the royal family now will get them killed. They are most likely anticipating something like that. Instead, we will send Intelligence Division Unit members to Blood Tide Island today. They will personally scan the place and report the topography, environmental hazards and the terrain of the place to us by tomorrow evening."
"Roger that," Axis nodded.
"The Assassin’s Division should be on standby for now. After the report from the Intelligence unit, structure a plan to use the terrain, the topography, and the environmental hazards there to your advantage during the war."
"Noted," Morgana nodded.
"As for the Combat Division, you will covertly lead several of your members to Blood Tide Island after the report tomorrow by the Intelligence Division... and kill the Aquamarine Herculean Crabs. I will draw a picture of how they look and send it to you so that you can identify them. Principal Luther should personally be part of this expedition, so that rank 1 intermediate stage chaotic beasts can be dealt with. Please, the blood of the Aquamarine Herculean crab is what matters. Let’s prioritize that."
Principal Luther nodded. "Roger."
"Also, all these operations discussed will be initiated with the principle of space, we don’t want to operate openly and get discovered by the royal family. They also have several intelligence agencies on their side after all. Their assassins are also lurking around."
Kailen added, "We need to be covert so they don’t know our plans. If anyone tries to betray this alliance and act like a spy to diffuse our plans to the royal family, trust me... I have my ways of finding out."
Everyone nodded.
Kailen’s eyes flashed with a cold light as he said the last statement. Several people shuddered. Of course, they would not dare betray the academy.
"Last thing. Let’s get Central Command started as soon as possible. That’s all for now."
"Roger... Chief commander," everyone nodded.
The meeting was dismissed as everyone immediately got to work.
Julian and those acquainted with Kailen did not even have the chance to catch up with him. Time was not on their side. There would be some time for that after the war.
In just a day, the Central Command on a moon 200 light years away from the Tesla Domain, selected for the war, was built.
Kailen and the members of the Intelligence Unit covertly left the academy and headed there, using the principle of space to shorten distances.
Very soon, they arrived there a few days later.
