I Am the Sweetheart of Mr. CEO
Chapter 813 - 810: My Jealousy Is About to Boil Over (Part 3)
Outside, the phone rang.
Kris Cooper got up and picked up the phone from the bedside table, and Tommy Taylor’s voice came from the other end of the line.
"Irene Spencer’s information has been sent to your email."
"Alright."
Clutching the phone, Kris Cooper returned to the study room, opened the computer, and checked the newly received email.
Soft footsteps echoed as Vera Wave entered, holding a tray.
On the tray were a bowl of porridge, a few small milk buns, and two small cold dishes.
"Hey, dinner’s ready!"
Kris Cooper focused on the text on the screen, slowly straightening his posture.
"What are you looking at, so absorbed? Is there a big beauty?"
Vera Wave teased as she walked over and, seeing the photo on the screen, spoke with curiosity.
"Isn’t that Irene Spencer?"
"Yes, I’m investigating her recently."
Vera Wave pouted, "What’s there to investigate about her?"
"For the current crime, the most they’ll do is detain her for two weeks..." Kris Cooper lightly tapped the mouse with his fingers, "Don’t you think this punishment is a bit too lenient?"
"The bombing case... is it really her doing?" Vera Wave asked.
Kris Cooper shrugged, "There’s no evidence yet, but anyone capable of using such despicable methods to do these things—even if it turns out she killed someone, I wouldn’t be surprised."
Instructing her fans to attack rival artists, directing subordinates to slander Vera Wave, attempting to use anesthetics on him...
These tactics are enough to prove her true nature.
Clearly a jealous, scheming woman, yet she can pretend to be an innocent lily for so many years—this woman is not simple at all.
"Did she really have cosmetic surgery?" Vera Wave couldn’t help shaking her head when seeing the documents on the desk, "I always thought she was a natural beauty!"
"Beauty?" Kris Cooper scoffed, "What’s beautiful about her?"
"No wonder she always looked familiar to me, she must have modeled herself after some celebrity." Vera Wave shrugged, "Are there any photos from before her surgery?"
"Haven’t found those yet."
"How is that possible?"
"She probably altered her records. I checked the information registered during her studies in the U.S. The listed address was demolished over ten years ago."
"Wouldn’t the school find out?"
Kris Cooper leaned back in his chair, "Don’t forget, she studied computer science. If my guess is correct, she must have tampered with her own records."
"Is she really that skilled?" Vera Wave exclaimed.
Kris Cooper scoffed again, "What’s so impressive? I could do it with my eyes closed, and not end up with holes in the story for me to find out."
"Are we really going to let her get away with it?"
"Don’t worry." Kris Cooper smirked cunningly, "Once I uncover her background, I’ll find a way to make her pay."
Scanning over Irene Spencer’s photo, Vera Wave sighed softly.
"Let’s eat first, or the porridge will get cold."
She really couldn’t understand what Irene Spencer was thinking. She hadn’t offended that woman; could it be that Irene truly hated her so much, wanting to eliminate her completely?
Thinking of this, Vera Wave just shook her head.
