Far from the place where Azaroth killed the bird monster the true boss if the crypt suddenly jerked upright. And although it’s intelligence is that of a twelve years old, combined with its monstrous instincts, it’s a dangerous combination.

As a monster in a unique Crypt, it’s been using strategy to hunt and that’s why it sent the bird monster to check those who came through and if they’re weak is should kill them.

And if they’re not then it should report back to the boss. But to die! The boss growled and although it couldn’t speak with spoken words, those around it understood it.

This is not the first time that those soft flesh meat enters his territory but they might be weak in flesh but not in power. Sometimes they even come with walking metal that moves on his own!

"Guraguuu!" The boss growled. Giving orders to the monsters arranged around it. The boss already called them for a hunt but what it needs now is information about the invaders.

One of the monster jumped up and did as the boss of the bosses said.

Azaroth was on the move again and then he saw something that shocked him. A village. A monster village. It is expected but only at a higher level.

Vaccuss don’t know where monsters might be coming from and those who might know are not talking. But he know that they come from crypt which is another world on its own. And of course they evolve so having a village is normal.

But not at least three levels to the one Azaroth is right now. He looked at it clearly, the village isn’t one built with wood or mud but with animal skins hanged on sticks.

But it did one thing, it provided shelter.

Azaroth studied it with a frown, should he go there? Maybe he’ll get a clue what type of crypt this is and if the boss is there. He prepared his formation in his mind and with his sword out he walked towards the village.

"Goblins?" He thought in surprise again when he saw the green Goblins running out of their shelter with a scream when they saw him. Goblins are known as the least intelligent monsters, they are the dumbest and maybe that’s why their bosses are extremely smart and cunning.

One thing that always made them troublesome is that they reproduce very fast and at large numbers. And the fac that they followed their smart boss instructions to the core.

The stepped into the shelter and frowned. "What exactly is going on here. And instead of the monsters to throw themselves at me, they’re running from me. A kind strategy?’

Outside Commander Apex said. "This unique crypt is mimicking the higher crypt. The monsters there are as smart as humans and they have advanced technology. Those crypt are like fighting a war on its own."

Kael nodded. "To think I’ll see this here. The bosses of such crypt usually have generals that are as strong as the boss itself."

Stallus and the others exchanged looks, and they’ll have to fight like that someday?

Azaroth didn’t see anything more suspicious and since the boss isn’t here he turned away and continue on his way ignoring the goblins. It’ll be waste of his time to kill them.

He passed the village and quickened his steps before he suddenly stopped. He looked back with a narrowed eyes but he didn’t see anything. Azaroth looked around with narrowed eyes again but he saw nothing, his thoughts spun. ’Why am I feeling eyes on me? I feel like someone is watching me."

But when he looks around there’s no one there. He continued and then he suddenly pushed his legs on the ground and leap, running on the grassy ground. And then he suddenly smiled, because whatever invisible force is hunting him began to run too and between the whooshing air he heard the beat of something large slamming into the ground.

’It must be a monster’ Azaroth thought. He continued to run then he began to pretend that he’s getting weak and weaker until he suddenly collapsed. He stayed like that with his eyes closed and waited patently.

To others outside they didn’t understand why Azaroth is collapsing.

But he stayed like that because he knew the monster will come to him. And he’s right. Soon he head something sniffing around him and when he began to nose around his head he opened his eyes and suddenly dust jerked up as whatever it is flinched.

Azaroth stand and although he couldn’t see it he knew the direction it was. "You can’t get away now." Something strain and almost jerked him forward be the trap is actually to get the monster to get near him enough that he’ll be able to use the thread to surround its leg.

"I should be about to kill you now." Azaroth can’t use his chaos core here so he used the fire and sent a wave of scorching fire in the direction. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

He heard a monster screamed out and straining as it struggled ti get away from him. But he just continued to send fire in the direction and soon the air began ti ripple and then a hulking black shape appeared only to dissappear again.

At last the monster stopped struggling and then collapsed. It ability also lifted and he saw the dead monster. It’s body is blackened and charred. He studied it. "This monster isn’t a combat type. But it’s ability to almost erase its presence is impressive but why is it trailing me?"

’Everything is just getting more confusing, first a bird monster of a boss level then a village and now a spy? What next an army of monsters?’

Maybe he shouldn’t have spoken too soon before a great dust bellowed in the distance and he heard the roar of monsters. Azaroth smiled thinly. "So there’s that. An army of monsters. This crypt keeps bringing random stuff."’
