I Regressed With a 10,000x God-Tier Multiplier
Chapter 151: The Starmap’s Secret
The grand hall of Zephyria was dark save for the massive three-dimensional holographic starmap dominating the center of the room.
Lucifer stood with his arms crossed over his chest plate. His void-swirling eyes locked onto the projection.
The map was a chaotic glittering mess of blue, silver, and gold light. It displayed the immediate stratosphere and the endless vacuum of space beyond the planetary shield.
"It looks like someone kicked over a bucket of glowing sand," Lucifer muttered dryly.
Elara stood beside him with her Twilight wings folded neatly. She let out a short quiet snort of amusement. "A very accurate highly magical bucket of sand. But you are right. It is completely unreadable."
They had the firepower. They had the altitude. But navigating the absolute trackless void between the mortal stratosphere and the Silver Citadel was entirely different from marching across a continent.
The Celestial Hegemony did not just live in the clouds. They existed in a separate heavily fortified dimension accessible only through ancient physical pathways.
Paths that the Gods themselves had broken to keep mortals out.
"The Celestial Stairway is out there," Lucifer stated smoothly. He traced a finger through the holographic projection. The blue light rippled around his iron gauntlet. "The Precursors built it as a hard-light bridge.
When the Gods decided they didn’t want neighbors anymore, they shattered it into a million pieces. If we just fly up blindly, we’ll be crushed by the atmospheric pressure changes before we even see their gates."
"We need the exact coordinates of the ruins," Sarah said.
The Star-Touched Oracle stepped forward from the shadows of the dais. She wore her pristine white dress with her Scepter of Cosmic Alignment resting lightly in her hands. She looked up at the sprawling chaotic hologram.
"The standard magical leylines are useless," Sarah explained. She walked directly into the center of the glowing projection. The holographic stars washed over her pale skin.
"The Gods scrambled the frequencies when they fled. To find the Stairway, I have to look past the active magic and track the dead resonance of the shattered marble."
"Can you do it?" Lucifer asked softly.
Sarah looked at him. She offered a small hesitant smile. "It’s a big sky, Lucifer. But I am the Star-Touched. If it’s up there, I will find it."
She did not wait for his permission. She raised the Scepter of Cosmic Alignment.
The massive violet orb at the tip of the mythic staff flared.
Sarah closed her eyes. She reached deep into her Tier 5 Oracle core. She bypassed the safety of Zephyria’s planetary shield and pushed her consciousness out into the freezing breathless vacuum of the upper stratosphere.
The hologram in the center of the room instantly responded.
The chaotic glittering sand began to swirl violently. The blue and gold lights blurred and spun into a massive vortex as Sarah rapidly filtered through billions of useless atmospheric data points.

[Spell: Cosmic Topography.]
[Warning: Neural Load Exceeding Safe Parameters.]
Lucifer watched her face closely.
The strain was immediate. Sarah’s pale skin turned translucent. Her jaw clenched tight.
The sheer incomprehensible vastness of the cosmos was crashing directly into her mortal mind! Tracking a broken bridge through an infinite dark void was like trying to find a specific snowflake in an avalanche while blindfolded.
The hologram shifted from blue to a harsh blinding silver.
"I see... fragments," Sarah whispered. Her voice trembled and echoed slightly as her vocal cords strained against the magical feedback.
"Massive chunks of white marble. Veins of gold floating in zero gravity. But they are scattered... drifting."
"Lock the central trajectory," Lucifer ordered and kept his voice perfectly calm to avoid startling her. "Find the main artery."
Sarah pushed harder. The violet orb on her scepter whined. The magical crystal vibrated so intensely it threatened to crack.
A single glowing silver tear spilled over her eyelashes.
It was not water. It was pure liquid starlight. The magic was physically bleeding out of her eyes as the cosmic pressure squeezed her brain!
"Sarah," Elara warned sharply and took a step forward. "You are overloading. Drop the spell."
"No!" Sarah gasped. More liquid starlight leaked from the corners of her closed eyes. It ran down her cheeks like glowing silver blood. "I have the thread. I just... I just need to pull it."
She let out a ragged agonizing cry! She drove the base of the scepter hard into the obsidian floor.
The hologram violently snapped into focus!
The chaotic swirling ceased instantly. A perfect high-resolution three-dimensional map materialized in the air.
It displayed a sprawling magnificent debris field of shattered white marble and gold suspended in the blackness of space.
A clear undeniable path wound through the floating wreckage. It led directly upward toward a massive shimmering barrier of pure divine law.
[System: Coordinates Locked.]
[Location: The Celestial Stairway (Ruins).]
[Status: Route to the Silver Citadel Established.]
Sarah collapsed.
Her knees buckled as she released the spell. The scepter clattered to the floor.
Lucifer moved faster than the system could process. He activated Zephyr’s Grace for a fraction of a microsecond and blurred across the room. He caught Sarah before she hit the cold obsidian.
He dropped to one knee and cradled her small frame against his dark leather armor.
"I got you," Lucifer said with his voice dropping to a low incredibly gentle rumble.
Sarah was trembling violently. Her eyes were squeezed shut. The glowing liquid starlight continued to seep from her tear ducts and stained Lucifer’s gauntlets as he carefully cupped her face.
The Warlord did not call for a healer. He knew standard mending would not fix a psychic overload of this magnitude.
"System," Lucifer whispered. "Synergize cores."
He engaged his Void Arcanist mana. He did not use the dark matter to crush or destroy. He used its absolute infinite emptiness to act as a sponge.
Lucifer pushed his aura into Sarah’s racing overloaded mind. He gently absorbed the agonizing cosmic static that was frying her nerves.
The violent trembling slowly stopped.
Sarah let out a long shuddering breath. The intense burning pain behind her eyes faded. It was swallowed completely by the cool stabilizing calm of the Void.
She slowly opened her eyes. The cosmic swirling in her irises was sluggish, but the blinding silver light had settled. She looked up at Lucifer’s face and traced the sharp lines of his jaw.
"That was incredibly reckless," Lucifer scolded softly. His thumb gently wiped a streak of glowing starlight from her pale cheek.
Sarah managed a weak exhausted laugh. It sounded surprisingly human.
"Look who’s talking," she murmured with a faint smirk touching her lips. "The man who punched a black hole to kill a demon is lecturing me on safety protocols."
Lucifer did not argue the point. He kept his hand resting gently against her face.
"You found the path," Lucifer acknowledged. "But if it costs you your mind, the map is useless."
Sarah reached up. Her small trembling hands grabbed the heavy leather straps of his breastplate.
"It won’t cost me my mind," she whispered. Her smile faded and was replaced by a profound vulnerable honesty.
She looked past his dark armor and stared directly into his void-swirling eyes.
"When I push my sight into the deep cosmos, Lucifer... it is terrifying," Sarah confessed. Her voice was barely louder than a breath. "The universe is so massive. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
It is endless, cold, and entirely empty. When I reach out that far, I feel like I am going to drift away and never come back. Like a leaf in a hurricane."
She pulled herself up slightly and pressed her forehead against his chest plate.
"But then I feel you," she said softly.
She looked back up at him. Her cosmic eyes burned with absolute undeniable devotion.
"Your soul is so heavy, Lucifer," Sarah whispered. "It is an immovable anchor in the dark. Whenever I feel like I am drifting into the void... I just look for your shadow. You are the only gravity I need."
Lucifer looked down at the Star-Touched Oracle.
She was not a weapon right now. She was not a tactical asset plotting a course for his floating fortress.
She was a woman who had just stared into the infinite terror of the universe simply because he asked her to, trusting entirely that he would pull her back.
The Warlord’s cold calculated exterior cracked completely.
Lucifer slid his hand to the back of her neck and tangled his fingers gently in her silver hair.
He leaned down and kissed her.
It was a slow incredibly tender kiss. It held none of the violent predatory energy of the battlefield. It was a promise of absolute safety.
He poured a steady comforting stream of Void mana through the connection. He completely silenced the remaining cosmic noise in her head.
Sarah sighed softly against his lips and her hands slid up to wrap around his neck. She melted against his dark armor and let the sheer immovable weight of his presence ground her completely.
A few feet away, Elara turned her back to give them privacy. The Eclipse Valkyrie stared at the glowing holographic map of the Celestial Stairway with a faint knowing smile touching her lips.
Lucifer slowly pulled back. He rested his forehead against Sarah’s.
"You aren’t drifting anywhere," Lucifer murmured softly. His void eyes locked onto hers with fierce possessive certainty. "I have you."
Sarah smiled and her cheeks flushed with a sudden warm color. She looked incredibly beautiful and the last traces of the starlight tears dried on her skin.
She took a deep breath and pushed herself up. Lucifer easily supported her weight and helped her to her feet. She leaned down and picked up her Scepter of Cosmic Alignment, using it as a walking stick as her legs steadied.
Lucifer stood up and the Warlord persona smoothly snapped back into place.
He turned his attention back to the glowing three-dimensional hologram of the shattered bridge.
"We have the coordinates," Lucifer announced and his voice returned to its normal commanding rumble.
"But flying Zephyria through a zero-gravity debris field is not going to be a smooth ride. The Gods set up blockades.
And the standard planetary shield won’t hold the atmosphere together if we breach the Divine barrier."
"We need an engine upgrade," Elara noted and stepped back to the table. "Something that can punch through dimensional law without tearing our own city apart."
"I know," Lucifer said smoothly.
He tapped his comms rune and opened a channel to the deep subterranean levels of the city.
"Vexia. Thrain," Lucifer ordered. "I am coming down to the Aether-Forge. We have the map to Heaven. Now, I need you to build me a battering ram."
