The magical formation on the palm of Kang lit up, a red glow. Sparks flew in the air around the hand as he got ready to attack.

The formation glowed brighter like the eyes of Kang, and then he unleashed the blast with a wide smile on his face, but as the flames exploded from his palm, he suddenly felt a strong tug on his hands that caused the attack to completely miss the old man and get blasted into the air.

At the same time, Ken slid under while dragging Kang over his body, and then pushing up to lift Kang into the air and slam him right into the ground, hard and very quickly twisting his arm and dislocating it instantly.

SNAP!

"Arghhhhhhhh!" The scream of Kang was what followed. He looked at his arm that had been twisted, and the pain grew worse.

His men that stood there were all stunned. Everyone was sure that the people in this town had run away, so what was this kid doing here and how had he sent their boss to the ground?

Ken looked at Baron Leonel, "Get up and get out, you are in the way."

Hearing that, the Baron wasted no time. He got to his feet and immediately staggered away with his stick while all the men stood and kept their eyes on him.

Kang rose to his feet, grabbing his hands and groaning in pure pain. He grabbed his shoulder and in the next moment pulled it forward, popping the bone back into place, followed by a deep and very pained groan.

Ken could not help but admire that when he saw it, he gave a subtle nod. "Impressive," he muttered.

"I don’t know who you are, kid, but you just bought yourself a lifetime of pain, kid. I’ll make sure your death is slow and horrendous," Kang said and then looked at his men.

"Head into town, kill everyone, take the women and girls, and any male dies, we have no use for them." After he said it, the men all saluted by pressing two fingers on the circle on their mask and then turned to rush into the town.

Ken watched them go and frowned. He looked at Kang. "You are going to regret that order," Ken said and cracked his knuckles. He needed to see just what Kang was capable of, but at the same time he had to move extremely fast and take out the rest before people died here.

Kang frowned. "I hate brats," he said and spread both hands apart, revealing that both palms had the formation. "Now kid, die." Sparks formed around each palm.

He thrust the first palm forward and a massive stream of flames shot out, immensely hot and very fast.

Ken stared at the glowing orange flames. He charged ahead, like he was going to enter the flames, but then he slid under. He could feel the heat from above, if that flame even touched his skin for a moment, it would be an issue. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

He made it past the flames and rose to his feet, dashing to close the distance immediately.

Kang frowned and in anger swung his second hand, creating an arc of flames, but before the arm could complete its arc, Ken spun around and kicked the hand, deflecting the flames into the sky, then he pounced forward.

Knee to the gut

Kang staggered backwards, clapped both hands together and quickly shot a stream of combined flames like a flamethrower.

Ken bolted, running as Kang followed him with the flames, yet not being able to touch Ken.

"Who is this kid? How is he that skilled?" Kang complained. He was infuriated that he had not yet burned Ken to the ground.

He could not keep the flame going, so he stopped and pulled his arms back. His formations went dim for a moment, but soon started glowing again.

’His magic isn’t constant, that formation goes dim after he casts and takes time to recharge. His magic is not like what Luna has for sure, she is more consistent and doesn’t have any formation that she uses, or she hasn’t shown me yet.

Regardless, this means I can watch for when he is out and then attack, end this as fast as possible and go after the others, I don’t want to kill, but if I hold back against him I’ll waste more time, I have to go for the kill.’

After making that decision in his mind, Ken’s eyes shifted instantly into something else, sharp like the eyes of a predator. He planted his feet against the ground and his speed almost doubled instantly.

Kang saw this and increased his output for the next attack very fast. The flames surged through the air very fast, but that also meant that he ran out faster, and that he did as Ken avoided the flames.

Ken saw the opening and immediately bolted in the direction of Kang.

He moved so fast that he was already in front of him in a second.

Kang was stunned, but managed to react fast. He pulled both hands together, flames shooting out at the same time. Ken blocked and pushed both hands open, leaving a clear way to Kang. He went in for a headbutt that shattered the nose of Kang, blood gushed in every direction.

"Arghhhhhh!" Kang growled in pain and stepped back, trying to find a way to recover. He tried to ignite his palms again, only for Ken to grab both hands and at the moment where the ignition could not be stopped, he shoved it into the face of Kang. The flames blasted outward and engulfed the face of Kang.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh!"

Kang screamed like a wild pig and collapsed to the ground. The pain on his face was like nothing he had ever faced, his face melted off in seconds as he tossed around, but he wasn’t dead.

Ken looked at him and then proceeded to punch into the chest, grab the heart and squeeze it till it popped and killed Kang.

"You’ll probably come back for vengeance if I let you live."
