Legend of Dragon Son-in-law
Chapter 2467: The Mysterious Skeleton
The moment God’s eye opened, all the surrounding yellow sand vanished.
A group of skeleton soldiers riding blood-sweating horses, wielding weapons, were relentlessly charging towards here.
Julius Reed continued to look inside.
He saw amidst the central part of the team, a skeleton wearing armor!
This, is the king of this group!
"The yellow sand is getting closer," Nine Serene True Lord opened his mouth to remind.
His power is weak now, unable to cope with these troubles.
"It’s fine."
Julius Reed slowly raised his hand, drawing a knife from his waist.
"Stand behind me and don’t move."
After speaking, he carried the knife, step by step walking toward the yellow sand.
The skeleton soldiers arrived in an instant!
Julius Reed slashed forward with the knife in his hand!
Swish!
The blast from the blade exploded!
Dozens of skeletons in front shattered into pieces instantly.
"Stop, I want to talk to you," Julius Reed opened his mouth and said.
But the skeletons seemed not to hear, continued rushing forward, paying no mind to the fact that dozens of skeleton soldiers ahead had died.
The dead skeleton soldiers scattered with the wind.
But after scattering, they reappeared at the back of the team.
They cannot be killed!
Or rather, in this yellow sand, they are immortal and indestructible.
Eternal life!
"Is it truly eternal life?" Julius Reed lightly slid the knife over his finger.
God’s blood flowed out a part, onto the blade.
"I don’t believe it..."
Facing the charging skeleton soldiers, he raised the knife and slashed horizontally!
Boom!
A gigantic wave directly lifted, blowing the skeleton soldiers into pieces!
Julius Reed raised the knife and slashed down again!
Boom!
The yellow sand was disrupted!
The cross blade’s blast continued to push forward!
Hundreds of skeleton soldiers vanished, not reappearing.
"Still not ready to talk?"
Julius Reed sheathed the knife.
In front of him, a skeleton soldier raised its weapon, stabbing at his head!
But, Julius Reed didn’t dodge.
"Stop!"
A voice rang out.
This voice was very deep and carried authority!
The voice vanished, and the skeleton soldier disappeared with it.
The yellow sand neither dissipated nor advanced.
Instead, it formed a tornado, swirling in place.
"You, know me?"
Countless skeleton soldiers dispersed, and among them, Julius Reed recognized many new faces.
They were all martial artists who died not long ago at Sweat Blood Ridge.
They died and became slaves here.
These people had empty eyes, their flesh not yet scattered.
It seems, they couldn’t remember themselves.
The skeleton soldiers scattered, riding tall horses, and a person in armor slowly emerged.
He too was a skeleton, and the horse he rode was also a skeleton.
But the armor on him, though rusted, showed high status and power!
Especially the long spear in his hand, half-broken.
Yet still glinting coldly.
"I don’t know you, but I’m very curious, want to know about you."
Julius Reed asked, hands clasped behind his back, looking up. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
"Oh. You don’t know me, yet you can see me? People with good eyes can’t see me, you, a blind person, say you can see me?"
The armored skeleton moved even closer to Julius Reed.
"Speak, who are you."
"Who I am is not important. I just want to learn about your identity and the secret of Sweat Blood Ridge."
Julius Reed pointed around, opened his mouth, and said, "Sweat Blood Ridge is clearly surrounded by a formation, are you also a part of this formation?"
"Truly impressive."
The skeleton nodded, extended his hand, raised the thumbs-up bone. "Knowing this is a formation is not simple. You, a blind person, are quite interesting. Later, when I kill you, I will retain your memory, keep you by my side."
After speaking, he slowly raised the broken spear, ready to strike.
"Don’t rush to strike, you haven’t answered my question yet."
Julius Reed also stepped forward, standing within arm’s reach of the skeleton, asked again: "Who are you, what is happening at Sweat Blood Ridge?"
"What ability do you have to know?" The skeleton thrust the spear!
Clang!
At the ultimate speed, Julius Reed drew his knife, directly deflected the spear, and severed the skeleton horse’s head!
Crash!
The skeleton warhorse collapsed instantly.
And the armored skeleton hurriedly leaped up, landing not far away.
"Now, is there a capital?" Julius Reed retorted.
He sheathed the knife, chuckled lightly, "I’ve already retreated, showing the greatest sincerity. If you don’t appreciate it, next time, this knife will fall on your head."
Within Sweat Blood Ridge, fell into silence.
All around, only the whoosh of wind and the sound of sand and gravel.
"I need to know first, who are you?" The skeleton spoke.
This knife clearly made him very wary.
Those surrounding skeleton soldiers wanting to kill were stopped by him.
"Who I am isn’t important, what’s important is the person beside me, the current Lord of Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance, Julius Reed!"
Julius Reed pointed at Nine Serene True Lord; anyway, this fellow already provoked so many people, might as well let him use this identity.
"Julius Reed?"
The skeleton’s tone was full of doubt, "Isn’t the Lord of Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance Silvio Reed?"
Upon these words.
Julius Reed realized the skeleton’s era.
This was back when Silvio Reed was not yet dead, more than six thousand years ago.
"Even if Silvio Reed passed away, wasn’t Trent Marsh still there? When Trent Marsh died, it was the Wayland family sitting in that position. Julius Reed? The Reed family at that time didn’t have any major power. Or has it been a very long time already..."
"But it shouldn’t be. The time here, though fast, is just several times that outside. What exactly is going on?"
The skeleton grew increasingly perplexed.
"Your identity, I’m asking one last time."
Julius Reed’s tone turned somewhat cold.
"Me? Fine, what difference does it make if I tell you? I am the first Grand General of Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance! Marcellus Lopez!"
When the skeleton spoke, he was full of confidence, and his words carried infinite boldness.
"If I wasn’t dead, how would Trent Marsh have any matter? Oh, right, what does Trent Marsh count as within the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance?"
"Trent Marsh is the first War God of Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance."
Julius Reed said truthfully.
The skeleton in front of him, related to Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance!
And seemingly, held very high status!
"War God? But just my pawn ahead of me." Marcellus Lopez sneered, tone full of disdain.
"You say you belong to Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance, yet why have I never heard of it?" Julius Reed questioned again.
Judging by the skeleton’s tone and words, he seemed to be someone very powerful within Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance.
Even possibly could stand on equal footing with Silvio Reed!
"You tell me, how many years Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance has been through now, and what happened?" Marcellus Lopez retorted without any intention to answer.
"Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance was embroiled in a palace intrigue dispute and collapsed. Later, Julius Reed established a new order, also called Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance. But in no way related to the former."
Julius Reed said part of it.
"Sure enough, self-inflicted plight leads to no survival," Marcellus Lopez laughed loudly, "Back then, Silvio Reed killed me, I foresaw such a day! Heaven’s justice is evident, retribution unfailing!"
