After absorbing the skills, he slowly opened the panel, his eyes focusing as he read through every detail carefully.

Seeing the experience bar stuck at 95%, a faint look of regret appeared on his face. His fingers tightened slightly as he stared at it.
"If only I could have put in some extra effort. Still, it was me who made the direct kill, so I wonder how the experience distribution is managed."
His brows furrowed as that thought lingered in his mind. He slowly exhaled, and a strange chill ran down his spine.
To think that something, or someone, was overseeing the laws of this world and managing everything at the same time felt unsettling.
"My status distribution has gone haywire. Next time I level up, I will focus on mana and stamina."
Muttering to himself, he reached out and tapped on Reaping Lv3. His eyes moved across the description with full attention.
[Reaping Lv3]
A scythe is a farmer’s daily tool, used to claim the life of the field so the village may eat, and your grip over it feels natural and precise. You treat the blade as an extension of your own arm, and this familiarity allows you to find the most efficient path through any "harvest," resulting in a permanent increase to damage by +30% when using scythe-type weapons.
"So each level increased the damage by 30%."
He nodded slightly, understanding it better now. Then his attention shifted toward his summons. He did not even need to call them out to check. He could feel their presence clearly through the connection.
Two of them had reached Lv3, while the other two were still at Lv1 during the fight.
He raised his hand slowly, his fingers spreading slightly as he focused.
"BLOOM!"
Swish!
Another Splash Shooter appeared right in front of him. Its form stabilized as it swayed lightly. He glanced at it for a moment before casually storing it away.
Then he summoned the Lv3 one.
As soon as it appeared, an additional message displayed in front of his eyes.
[Name: Splash Shooter Lv1]
[Tier: Tier 0]
[Each time it levels up, the damage will increase by 10%.]
[Each time it undergoes a Tier change, it will evolve to a higher species.]
Reigns leaned forward slightly as he read the details, his eyes narrowing in thought.
A 10% increase per level sounded good, but it was not something overwhelming.
Tier 0 was capped at level 10, so once it reached level 10, it would have a 100% increase in attack power. That meant the damage would be doubled.
As for evolution, he could only wait and see what kind of changes it would bring.
"But can I just summon the Splash Shooter, or will I be able to unlock new species?"
He frowned slightly, clearly unsure. He did not know how it worked.
What were the hidden conditions?
"It seems I can only grind and level up."
He lowered his hand slowly, his expression turning more serious.
"I have been holding back because I don’t have enough knowledge. I will go to the City Lord base to accumulate things, and once done, I will start grinding."
With that thought settled in his mind, his gaze steadied, and a quiet determination appeared in his eyes.
...
Next day...
Reigns walked back toward the spot where the squad usually gathered. His steps were steady, but his mind was already made up. When they noticed him approaching, their faces lit up slightly, and a few of them straightened from where they were sitting.
He stopped in front of them and gave a small nod, his expression calm.
"Sorry guys, yesterday I learnt about City Lord base. I am gonna visit the base to learn a few things and if possible buy a good weapon."
As he spoke, he lifted his hand slightly, as if explaining his decision clearly so there would be no misunderstanding.
"But don’t worry, once I have enough information I will immediately jolt back to find you."
He looked at each of them briefly, his tone firm but not distant.
"That’s sad," Arvin muttered, shaking his hand with a faint sigh.
The others also nodded quietly. Since Reigns came here himself to greet them, they were sure that he was not trying to avoid or deceive them.
His assistance before had been really helpful, and more than that, Reigns himself felt these people were quite easy to get along with.
Meeting good people on the first encounter was truly a heaven defying luck in itself.
Reigns gave them one last look, then turned around and began walking away. His pace was not rushed, but there was a clear sense of purpose in his steps.
He moved toward the center of the town, where the City Lord base was located.
As he got closer, the structure slowly came into view.
The City Lord base was not some grand mansion as he had imagined. Instead, it looked more like a military office. The building was wide and sturdy, with thick walls and sharp edges, giving it a strict and disciplined feeling. Guards stood near the entrance, watching everything with alert eyes.
Outside, the place was crowded.
A huge number of people had gathered there. Some were standing in groups and discussing things, while others were trading items openly. Voices overlapped with each other, creating a constant buzz in the air.
Several stalls were lined up outside, displaying different items.
One man was loudly advertising, holding up a scroll.
"Tier 0 skill, Quick Slash, increases attack speed by 10%! Only 120 tradable lifespan!"
Another nearby stall had a different set.
"Earth Spike Lv1, Tier 1 skill, high burst damage! 450 lifespan, no bargaining!"
A rough looking merchant leaned against his table and tapped a sword with his finger.
"Iron Fang Sword, Tier 0 weapon, durable and sharp. 180 lifespan!"
Beside him, another weapon gleamed under the light.
"Wind Cutter Blade, Tier 1, increases swing speed and adds slight wind damage. 520 lifespan!"
Reigns slowly walked through the crowd, his eyes moving from one stall to another as he observed everything carefully.
After looking around for a while, he began to understand the general pricing.
A LV1 core can be exchanged for 25 days tradable lifespan.A Lv2 for 100,3 for 200 and 4 for around 300.
However, they can be exchanged for money in the real world. So Reigns decided to preserve core to sell in his world for money.
As for skills....Tier 0 skills were around 100 lifespan. Tier 1 skills ranged from 300 to 500, and there were even a few Tier 2 skills, but those cost more than 1000 days of tradable lifespan.
The problem was not the 1000 lifespan itself, but the fact that those items were being sold by large merchants. Their presence alone made it clear that there was a bigger system behind all this.
Reigns paused for a moment, his brows slightly raised as realization struck him.
There were Merchant Guilds and Adventure Guilds here.
This information made him slightly surprised.
He stood there for a moment, quietly thinking as he processed everything.
Once you became part of an adventure guild, you could tag along with them. You did not even need to take the lead. You could simply assist them and kill the prey at the end to gain experience.
That meant they would help you level up, but in exchange, they would take 80% of the lifespan.
One might think this was nothing but looting, but for support type classes who could not fight on their own, this was a heaven defying loophole.
They could basically pay and level up.
"No wonder they said as long as one had power, money, and support, even a weakling can level up by sitting."
He rubbed his chin lightly, his thoughts continuing to flow.
"So that’s why Nyxara wasn’t worried. As long as I find her I can just ride her on coattails and soar across heaven."
He paused for a second, then frowned slightly.
"Huh! That sounded a bit wrong."
Shaking his head, he pushed that thought aside, but soon his expression turned serious again.
There was still a problem. The only problem was Tier capping.
Even if someone leveled up fast, they would still be restricted by their Tier.
This was a problem for others but not for him.
Reigns took a deep breath and then stepped forward, moving deeper into the crowd. He began to carefully search for something more specific.
There were many skills here, but he did not need to buy offensive or combat skills right now.
What he needed was something that could help him detect and understand things better.
He moved from one stall to another, occasionally stopping, scanning, and then moving again.
After a rough search, his steps finally came to a halt. His eyes focused on a simple looking scroll placed at the corner of a stall.
