The battle between the Changers and the Sparrow’s Nest reached it’s peak on the very first day and from the second day onwards, the intensity of the battle lessened by quite a bit.

But still, the battle was still ongoing and some people from both sides continued to die. Obviously the death count in the side of the Changer was much higher.

As the Changer was not really a very unified orginisation to begin with, the current outcome of the battle created a lot of resentment among its members.

The leaders of the Changer tried both oppressive and kind tactics to control this spread of unrest but the result was not ideal. The resentment continued to build up.

At that moment, one of the veteran official knight realm powerhouse of the Changer died. This man had quite a bit of influence even in this ragtag dark orginisation so his death was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

A lot of members either started to run away or tried to kill the leaders of this dark orginisation. Some even went to surrender to the Skepa family with information regarding the Changer. So, in a very short period time, the Changer dark orginisation was on the verge of getting destroyed.

On the second day till the war between the two dark orginisations had started, Elise had came out on a mission given to her by both Weiss and Eleanor. If sucessful, this could even end this whole war.

So it was definitely a very important mission. Normally someone would be stressed out about this but that was obviously not the case for someone as strong as Elise.

Her mission was to assasiate a senior and quite famous member of the Changer. He was a low level official knight but was only a little bit away from reaching the mid level. But that did not matter to Elise at all. Even if he was high level knight, it would still be the same for Elise, an easy target.

Actually, it was Weiss who was planning to take care of this task herself as she was planning to check out a new special art that she had thought about regarding bow and arrows.

But at the very last moment, Weiss suddenly found quite a few very interesting books in the Skepa Library which looked like regular books at one glance, but were quite special actually.

These books were written in the form of a hidden riddle and without learning how to read that, it was impossible to decipher the book. So Weiss was currently doing that exact impossible task and she had already progressed quite a bit in this.

And that was why she had left this task of assassination to Elise. Eleanor was paying quite a good price for this task so Weiss did not mind doing this very simple thing. And this act would also allow her subordinates to loot one of the storehouse of the Changer.

So, as Weiss reached the destination where the target of the assassination was, she sensed that Hanzic and his men had already taken their position and were ready for action anytime.

With that being the case, there was no reason for Elise to hold back and waste her time. She wanted to finish this mission as soon as possible and return back to Weiss’s side. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

So she took a deep breath and executed a single move.

After about a second or two had passed, Elise turned back and started to return to the Skepa castle to go back to Weiss again.

If someone was seeing her, they would be very confused. It looked as if Elise had suddenly decided to abandon the mission even though she was suppose to be stronger than them.

But that was obviously not the case. As Weiss disappeared from her spot, the heads of all the people guarding the warehouse including the mid level knight’s head fell down on the ground.

All of them had died while not even realising that they were dead. They still had the very normal expression on their faces which they had before Elise made her move.

As Weiss was finally done deciphering the book, Elise returned back. She was in a very bad mood. While coming back after finishing her misson quickly, she was suddenly contacted with a magic item and one of the maids had asked for her help.

A noble was trying to bribe Anali in order for her to betray Weiss and act as that noble’s spy. She had somehow brushed that stupid idiot off and had contacted Elise to ask for advice regarding what she should do next.

She really wanted to kill this noble for even suggesting the idea of betraying her mistress. But Anali was aware that doing so might just cause trouble for Weiss. And as Weiss was currently busy, Anali had decided to ask Elise for advise.

So Elise had to spend a decent amount to time taking care of this matter. As for how she had solved this, it was actually simple. Instead of just beating that noble up and get temporary satisfaction, she had researched this noble thoroughly and had decided to end him completely.

As for how she was going to do that, it was by making Anali into a double agent. Currently she was having sex with this same useless noble and while doing this, she was first going to slowly destroy his ability to reproduce and even his ability to get his cock up.

Then slowly but thoroughly, she was going to suck out any blackmail material that this noble had and then destroy him both socially and economically using them.

Weiss definitely would have came up with a better plan but this was the best that Elise was able to come up with.

As this was a somewhat complex plan, she needed to take quite a bit of time in explaining all of this to Anali. And that was the reason why Elise was a bit late in coming to Weiss.

Seeing her bad mood, Weiss made Elise to lie down on her thighs and then she started to pat her head gently. Whenever Weiss did this, Elise’s mood would always became better no matter what. And that was exactly what happened even now.

So as Elise was getting back to her good mood, to make her mood even better, Weiss told her that soon it would be time for the special tea party hosted by Elina. And as Elise was looking forward to this interesting sounding tea party, her mood became even better after hearing about this.

So what kind of party was it going to be ?
