Chapter 1139: Time Immemorial
With that, Anthony decided to speak, "Sadly, she is in seclusion now, so I’m alone at the moment," he replied to Vivian’s question, his tone calm and casual.
At his words, Donna and the rest couldn’t help but expand their senses as they immediately tried to locate Vega within the Divine Realm, but as they did, they sensed nothing, an empty absence where her presence should have been, but before any of them could speak, Anthony spoke first.
"She isn’t training here, she is at her parents’ house," he shook his head as he spoke, his expression remaining composed.
Everyone nodded and decided not to speak again on the matter, since Vega wasn’t here, they chose not to bring her up again until Anthony himself decided to do so.
"Since you haven’t been in seclusion yourself, what have you been doing since Vega is in seclusion?" Donna asked curiously, her gaze fixed on Anthony.
"Nothing much, really," Anthony replied with a shrug, "although I’m just coming back from a small tour, as I went to visit Bryan, Tiara, and the Storm Brothers," he stated, his tone light.
Arnold and the rest didn’t need to think to remember who they were, after all, they were all classmates, individuals they had once walked alongside in a different phase of their lives.
"Damn, I’ve forgotten about those guys," Ross stated as he suddenly remembered that they even existed, his expression one of mild surprise.
"Well, I’m sure they’ve forgotten about you too, after all, we aren’t exactly popular," Litt replied with an indifferent expression, his tone flat yet honest.
With that, Anthony began to explain what he, Bryan, Tiara, and the Storm Brothers did when they had all met, recounting their interactions, the conversations they shared, and the subtle changes he had noticed in them over time. Anthony’s subordinates listened with rapt attention, fully engaged in every detail he provided.
After a while of gisting and everything, Anthony changed the topic, "Anyway, that’s that, now to the reason I called you all," his tone still as casual as before, yet carrying a subtle shift that did not go unnoticed.
But the smiles on his subordinates’ faces vanished, as to them, the time for joking around had ended, and it was now time for business, their expressions sharpening almost instantly.
"Do you know about the Angels, the Divinora Galaxy, and the Galactical War that is about to begin?" Anthony asked, his gaze sweeping across them.
"I do," Spectre replied with a calm tone, as he was up to date on everything, his expression unchanged.
"I don’t know, but I’ve battled a few Angels, although at the time, I just took them as another species within the Galaxy," Arnold stated with a flat expression, his voice steady.
Basically, some knew, while some didn’t, as they had all been doing their own things, which was understandable given their independence.
"Then I will explain for those of you who don’t know," Anthony spoke with a slight sigh, preparing to elaborate.
With that, Anthony explained the incoming battle, speaking about the Demon King and his top one hundred strongest Demon Monarchs, then the God of the Divinora Galaxy and his twelve Twelve-Winged Angels, and even the existence of the Thirteen-Winged Angels, as well as the possibility of Fourteen-Winged ones.
A normal person would have been shocked at such information, but instead, these individuals were excited, their heartbeats increasing as their battle intent flickered, a dangerous gleam surfacing in their eyes. To them, this Galactical Conquest was a way to farm points, billions of beings fighting to the death on a grand scale, such a scene was exactly what they sought.
In their minds, they immediately discarded any thoughts of facing weaker opponents, instead focusing on the top twenty Demon Monarchs under the Demon King, and the Thirteen-Winged Angels as well, while the existence of the Fourteen-Winged ones remained uncertain, they still looked forward to the possibility with anticipation.
"I advise you to be careful," Anthony spoke, "these are existences that have lived for billions of years, who knows exactly how old they are or how deep their abilities go, as these beings might be able to match you in every conceivable way possible, so be prepared," Anthony warned, his tone becoming slightly serious.
Hearing Anthony’s warning, they nodded, although they were strong, they did not consider themselves invincible. Besides, if Anthony was warning them, then the possibility of True Death was very real.
"And although I’m usually one to say to build your battle experience yourself and all that, I will advise you to buy some from the system shop, after all, while you may be able to match people who are a few thousand years old, the ones you are about to face possess billions of years of experience, matching them in battle experience alone would be a fantasy," Anthony continued without missing a beat.
Hearing Anthony’s words, they nodded their heads again, after all, beings who possessed billions of years of battle experience might as well have been fighting since Time Immemorial, matching such individuals was impossible at their current stage.
"And lastly, I will be introducing you to a group of friends of mine," Anthony continued without pause, maintaining the flow of his speech.
Anthony didn’t need to go into detail, they already knew Aaaninja and Lucian, although they didn’t know about Aura Nova, a name that had yet to surface in their interactions.
"You will be fighting alongside us during the incoming battle, and I don’t need to emphasize that they are also as overpowered as all of you here, so do your best to keep up with them, if you don’t want to fall behind, that is," Anthony stated, a faint hint of challenge laced within his words.
A smile couldn’t help but appear across everyone’s face, they were indeed looking forward to meeting these individuals who were strong enough to make Anthony acknowledge them as friends, after all, Anthony had spoken highly of them in the past. Some of them already had thoughts of challenging these people to see just how deep their own abilities could go in comparison.
"When do you plan to introduce us?" Spectre spoke, his tone gentle yet curious.
"Within the week, they should be coming out of seclusion soon enough," Anthony replied, since Aaaninja was already at the Apexus Mana Rank, he would come out of his seclusion before anyone else, while Aura Nova might take the longest, as she had a lot to refine and train.
At his words, everyone nodded, mentally preparing themselves.
"Well, that would be all for now, if you don’t have enough points for the battle experience ability, you have a few days to gather enough, so make every preparation you need within that time," Anthony stated as he rose to his feet, his purpose for coming here having been fulfilled.
"See you guys in a few days," at those words, he vanished from the Divine Realm as though he had never been there to begin with, leaving behind no trace of his presence.
His subordinates stood in silence, their minds racing, then wide grins broke across their lips, the thrill of fighting beings that had existed for billions of years surging within them like an uncontrollable tide. They stared at each other for a brief moment, a shared understanding passing between them, then one by one, they vanished, although they had only a few days to make preparations, they didn’t mind, with their battle acumen and efficiency, even a few days was more than enough for them to prepare for what was to come.
