Chapter 1140: Have You Heard The Name
How large or immense the Galaxy actually is, no one truly knows, is it infinite, is it measurable, how does one quantify it, no one truly knows, people argue about it all the time, but scholars have never truly traveled from one end of the Galaxy to another, leaving its true scale as one of the greatest mysteries of existence.
Within one of these vast and seemingly infinite Galaxies within a Universe, a Galaxy called the Acarnis Galaxy existed, and billions of light years away from the Blue Planet, the Dusk Planet, and the Celestial Solar System, a singular Planet could be seen floating in the Void of space, it wasn’t part of any Solar System, nor was it orbiting any Sun, simply existing on its own in silent isolation.
The Planet was filled with natural void gases that could end lesser beings instantly, yet, life thrived within this planet as though the life forms within this particular rogue planet had perfectly adapted to their hostile habitat. The sky was black, the world itself was dark as light hardly reached it, the air was cold, colder than frost itself, biting and unwelcoming.
And within a seemingly random planet like this, a meeting was about to take hold, a meeting that could change something... or nothing at all, depending entirely on how it unfolded and the intentions of those involved.
In the pitch-black sky, space tore apart as the Void bled into reality, and from the Void, a being that was blacker than the darkness that consumed this rogue Planet appeared, the being didn’t have any notable features, but it stood upright like a Human, with two legs and two arms, its form both simple and unsettling.
The being stood silent for a moment, his non-existent eyes turning slightly to the side, as with just a simple glance, he took in the entire Planetary state and nature. As for who this was, he was none other than the Demon King himself, Azrath Kaelthar Morvanyx Doomrend, the one who, with just the whisper of his name, could sense your existence and location, the one who, merely by hearing his name, you would be blessed with hundreds of curses.
But this wasn’t his real body, after his meeting within the Klaus, the Demon King never bothered to leave his Castle or Abyss again, until today, as he could never quite comprehend how a mere Human could be that strong, a thought that lingered at the edge of his mind.
His current body was merely a projection, yet it still possessed enough power to wipe out entire races if he so wished, he was simply that overwhelming, even with a mere projection.
After looking around for a while, he vanished from the sky, his figure appearing at a random part of the rogue planet where he simply created a table and chair from the natural gases that filled the planet, shaping them effortlessly. He sat in silence with a faint smile, awaiting someone... or something, his patience seemingly endless.
An hour passed, and in the next moment, the rogue planet, which had been covered in pitch darkness, immediately brightened up, the darkness parting as though the Heavens themselves had descended upon the planet. Within the sky, a copy of the Demon King’s projection appeared, but this time, it wasn’t pitch black, but golden white, radiating a brilliance that stood in stark contrast to the surrounding darkness, as though it embodied purity itself.
As for who it was... it was He, it was HIM, the ruler of the Divinora Galaxy, the God, and the creator of the Angelic race, a being whose very existence commanded reverence.
The God’s eyes immediately tore downward, his gaze fixing on a being that seemed to emit pure malice and chaos simply by existing. With that, the God’s projection vanished from the sky, his body appearing before the Demon King. Without hesitation, he lowered himself into a seat of natural gas that the Demon King had already created prior to his arrival, accepting the unspoken invitation.
With that, silence enveloped the both of them, as Darkness and Light, Hatred and Love, Evil and Holy, stared directly into each other’s existence, neither of them making the first move, a small ’smile’ resting on the Demon King’s featureless face.
Seeing that the God wasn’t going to speak, the Demon King spoke, "I thought we were supposed to meet discreetly, not announce our presence to the whole Galaxy," his voice echoing without the need for a mouth, carrying an eerie resonance.
The God’s projection didn’t reply, he remained seated, and though he wasn’t being addressed directly, his holiness remained eternal and unshaken, his silence speaking volumes.
"I guess we should start by introducing ourselves, my name is Azrath Kaelthar Morvanyx Doomrend, the Demon King of the Abyssal Realm, ruler of all Demons," the Demon King introduced himself with the same playful smile, he didn’t carry himself with the same rigid demeanor as the God’s projection, instead exuding a casual yet terrifying presence.
At the sound of his name, the God’s projection was immediately struck with the same curses that had once hit Anthony when the Demon King had introduced himself back then. But as the hundreds of curses washed over the God’s projection, it didn’t react in any way, as though nothing had happened, as though such afflictions were beneath its notice.
"Speak on why you’ve called for this meeting and stop with your playful charades," the God’s projection stated, his voice calm yet authoritative.
The Demon King smiled, he had only been testing the waters, after all, no one had ever been able to hear his name and survive it, not even the Rank 1 Demon Monarch under him could, only Anthony had survived, due to his unique immunity against such things.
And now, this God had done the same, and with a mere projection at that, which suggested that this God stood leagues above his Rank 1 Demon Monarch, and possibly on par with him, the Demon King himself.
"Hoo!!! Only one person has been able to survive after hearing my name," the Demon King spoke, deliberately ignoring the God’s words as though he hadn’t heard them at all, his tone laced with intrigue.
The God’s projection narrowed his eyes as he asked, "And who is the first?"
His tone carried a trace of surprise, as he knew that even Thirteen-Winged Angels wouldn’t survive the curses that had just struck him, meaning whoever had survived these series of curses was either on their level or approaching it, and if such a person existed within this Galaxy, he needed to know who they were and remain cautious of such an existence.
"Have you heard the name, Null Anthony?" the Demon King stated with a playful expression, his unseen gaze fixed intently on the God. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
And with that, the meeting between Light and Darkness, between Good and Evil, truly began in earnest, the tension between them quietly shaping the fate of countless lives yet to come.
