"Wayne is truly innocent."

The Dowager Kane purposely said this, while June Kane nodded beside her, "Simon, don’t ruin the relationship between our two families for unrelated people."

June speculated that the Dowager had sent someone to find Serena.

Simon Sterling didn’t answer, standing there, watching the Dowager Kane open the video.

The video emitted sounds of fighting, followed by shouting.

A panicked voice came through, and the Dowager Kane, holding her phone, sensed something was amiss. She turned the screen towards herself, and upon seeing the video, her face changed dramatically.

This wasn’t a video of Serena being captured!

It was footage of the people she sent being beaten to the ground, confessing her scheme!

"Madam Dowager, should I call the police?"

Reporting it would add another crime to the Kane Family’s list.

Simon Sterling asked with a smile.

After so many years of dealing with the Kane Family, how could he not know their ways?

If threatening the victim doesn’t work, they would certainly target Serena next.
