Mr.Nobody: I am inside a webcomic?!
Chapter 35: Origin Of Ray’s World
One year had passed since Ray first discovered the webcomic Shining Blossom.
One year since curiosity turned into obsession.
And one year since a higher-dimensional being decided to create a world for his own entertainment.
...
Late at night, Earth slept peacefully beneath glowing city lights.
But far beyond Earth....
Far beyond the reach of telescopes and human understanding, a strange new world floated in empty space. A reconstructed existence. A narrative brought to life.
Ray stood alone in the void, staring down at the planet he had created. Around him entire galaxies trembled from the energy leaking from his body. The newly formed world rotated slowly before him.
Blue oceans, clouds, cities, mountains, forests, a complete reality born from imagination.
Ray looked at it silently. "...Not bad." A transparent cosmic screen floated before him.
On it were thousands of references.
[Webcomic panels]
[Character dialogues]
[Locations]
[Story arcs]
[Emotional interactions]
Everything he had gathered from Shining Blossom.
Ray moved his fingers lightly. Entire continents reshaped themselves instantly.
A city appeared. It was Alkon City. Tall buildings rose from the ground, roads formed, lights activated, cars began moving automatically. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Then..
Another gesture people appeared. There were millions of them. Living beings with memories, emotions, personalities. Some laughed, some cried, some argued and some fell in love.
Ray observed everything calmly. "...Interesting."
A glowing panel floated nearby.
[World Construction Progress: 74%]
[Character Synchronization: Active]
[Main Narrative Stability: Stable]
Ray tilted his head slightly. "Main characters."
Immediately...
Two glowing figures appeared before him.
[Aiden]
[Toma]
Their bodies unfinished at first, like incomplete sketches.
Ray slowly walked toward them. "...So these are the protagonists."
He looked at Aiden first. Sharp eyes, confident posture, natural charisma.
Then Toma, warm expression, gentle presence.
Ray stared at them quietly. "...You two are strangely believable for fictional creations."
He snapped his fingers lightly. Memories flooded into them instantly.
Memories of childhood school, experiences, emotions, relationships.
An entire lifetime created within seconds.
The unfinished figures slowly became real humans.
Ray watched with fascination. "...There. Now you’re alive."
But before either could react further....
Reality shifted. The world completed itself around them. The two immediately became absorbed into the flow of the constructed reality like actors placed into a stage without realizing it.
Ray floated above the world quietly. "...Perfect." Suddenly he saw a variable among the faceless NPC’s. An NPC with bowl-cut hair was behaving weirdly, standing in front of a building. "I think I should resolve this bug."
Another thought crossed his mind.
"A story needs disruption."
"A variable."
His eyes narrowed slightly and he smiled faintly. "...Let’s see what happens when this background NPC notices the scripted reality around him."

Present Day — Earth
One year later.
Ray sat inside his room in front of his computer. The screen illuminated his face softly in the dark room.
On the monitor....
Webcomic panels from Shining Blossom scrolled downward. One particular Chapter appeared on screen. Aiden holding a burning torch and Toma beside him. The giant bear roaring in the forest. Aiden threw the torch hard toward another direction.
WHOOSH!
The bear turned away instantly.
"Run!" Aiden shouted. He grabbed Toma’s hand and both of them escaped deeper into the forest.
Ray leaned back in his chair. "This Chapter never gets old. Every time I reread...it still feels interesting." His eyes focused carefully on the panel.
But then...
He smiled slightly. "...Though the version inside my world became far more entertaining."
A different image appeared in his mind. Mr. Nobody fighting the bear alone. System windows flashing, unexpected choices and narrative instability.
Ray rested his chin on his hand. "...You really surprised me, Nobody. You somehow even achieved an unknown system window powers."
For the first time in years....
Something inside his artificial world had acted outside prediction and Ray loved it.
A voice suddenly echoed from downstairs. "RAYYYY!"
Ray sighed instantly. "...Human parental timing truly is unmatched."
His mother shouted again. "Ray! What are you doing up there?!"
He lazily replied, "Nothinggg..."
"Have you gone to the grocery store yet?!"
Ray froze. "...Ah." He completely forgot.
His mother’s footsteps approached. "Ray!"
"Okayyy mom, coming!" He slowly stood from his chair dramatically like a soldier marching toward war. "Man...this is annoying." He walked downstairs.
His mother stood near the kitchen holding money in one hand. She crossed her arms. "You said you’d go thirty minutes ago."
Ray took the money quietly. "...Time flows differently when I’m busy."
His mother blinked slowly. "...You sound like an unemployed wizard."
Ray remained silent.
She sighed. "Just buy the groceries and come back quickly."
Then her expression softened slightly. "And be careful while crossing the road."
Ray looked at the money in his hand. "...You humans worry a lot."
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
She lightly flicked his forehead. "Don’t ’nothing’ me."
Ray rubbed his forehead dramatically. "...Violence against higher-dimensional entities."
His mother narrowed her eyes. "What?"
"...Nothing again."
She shook her head helplessly. "I seriously don’t know what goes on inside your brain."
Ray muttered quietly, "Neither would humanity survive if they did."
"Hm?"
"Have a nice day mom."
Before she could question him further Ray quickly walked toward the door.
Outside....
The afternoon sun illuminated the streets warmly. Cars moved peacefully. People talked casually. A normal Earth afternoon.
Ray placed his hands inside his hoodie pockets and began walking. "...Groceries...How thrilling."
The city around him buzzed with normal life, Cars moved, People crossed roads, A dog barked somewhere nearby. But Ray’s attention was elsewhere. "...This is boring." He sighed dramatically.
Then suddenly...
He snapped his fingers lightly. A translucent cosmic screen appeared beside him instantly. Pedestrians walked past without noticing anything.
The floating screen reflected directly into Ray’s eyes. "Let’s check what’s happening inside my world."
The display flickered.
A glossy purple car drifting violently around corners at terrifying speed. Mr. Nobody drove with one hand on the steering wheel while the city lights blurred around them. Behind them multiple black vans chased after them aggressively.
Ray’s eyes widened slightly. "...Oh?" Then he grinned. "Wow. I just opened the stream and it’s already a high-speed chase." The grocery bag in his hand swung as he kept casually walking down the street while watching the live events unfold beside him like someone watching a show on a phone.
Inside the screen....
TIRES SCREECHED.
The purple bunny-emblem car made another impossible drift.
One gangster shouted from a van, "DON’T LET THEM ESCAPE!"
Another leaned out the window. "Ram their car!"
Ray chuckled softly. "...This really became more entertaining than the original webcomic."
The screen zoomed slightly.
Mr.Nobody suddenly slammed the brakes.
SKRRRRRRRT!
The purple car stopped violently in the middle of an abandoned road.
Toma looked shocked. "What are you doing?!"
Mr.Nobody opened the car door calmly."...Do you know what? I’m just gonna beat their as*es."
Ray burst out laughing. "HAHA...Ohhhh? He stopped the car himself?"
The gangster vehicles screeched to a halt one after another. Men stepped out carrying pipes, knives and chains. One of them spat on the ground. "You finally gave up, huh?"
Mr.Nobody casually cracked his neck. "...Nah. I just got tired of driving."
Ray smirked wider while continuing to walk casually through Earth’s streets. "...Huh. The guy is showing some guts, huh....?"
Ray’s smile slowly widened further. A dangerous look appeared in his eyes. "...Twenty enemies? That’s not enough." He lifted one finger slightly."You wanted action..." A grin spread beneath the shadow of his hoodie. "...I’ll give you action."
The number of enemies started to rise like corrupted spawns.
Thus, Mr.Nobody was being forced to fight hundreds of enemies alone.
