Chapter 927: Chapter 927: Are You Shy?

The two-day gaokao is coming to an end.

After finishing the last subject, Hannah Sue hopped and skipped out of the school.

With the gaokao over, her tense nerves could finally relax.

Besides, this was the one time she felt most confident about, almost every major question had been covered by Evan Sutton.

She felt all of this was thanks to Evan Sutton’s intense review sessions and tutoring, where he went over both possible and unlikely exam questions with her.

Hannah Sue felt this was the happiest moment of her life.

Confident in achieving good results on the exams, and with the boy she liked waiting outside the school gates, she felt this was the most complete moment of her life.

Evan Sutton observed how Hannah Sue was almost the first student to rush out of the school gate, he reached out to tidy up her disheveled bangs and asked, "How was the exam?"

Hannah, brimming with confidence, replied, "It went really well! Not a single question stumped me!"

Evan, smiling with reassurance, said, "Don’t boast now, you’ll know for sure if you did well once the results are out."

With a smile, Hannah hooked her arm around Evan’s, saying, "You might not have faith in me, but you must have faith in my private tutor!"

Evan chuckled and gave her a playful glance, saying, "Let’s talk once the results come out, no big talk now."

"How about we make a bet?"

Confused, Evan tilted his head slightly: "Hmm?"

"If I cross the admission line, you become my boyfriend."

In a mild tone, Evan replied, "What if you don’t pass?"

Hannah said, "Then I’ll try harder to catch up with you."

"These are not things you should be considering at your age, talk about it after school."

Hannah, hearing this, frowned displeased and said, "Can’t you stop treating me like a kid? I mean what I say seriously."

Evan turned and walked toward the street, changing the topic by saying, "What do you want to eat?"

Hannah glanced towards the street and said, "I want to go to that Western restaurant we went to last time, they have a discount today."

Evan knew Hannah was surely not thinking about the restaurant’s discount, but because it was a couple’s restaurant.

He pretended not to notice Hannah’s little scheme, and was just about to flag down a cab when Hannah suddenly held his hand down, saying, "It’s still early, let’s walk there."

Evan gently reminded, "It’s half an hour on foot."

"I know, it’s not like I’ve never walked it before, you just keep underestimating people."

"Alright, let’s go then."

After Evan said this, Hannah didn’t move, leaving him puzzled as he asked, "What’s wrong?"

Hannah pursed her lips and smiled, deliberately saying, "The backpack is so heavy."

Evan understood, and with a helpless glance, he reached out to take the backpack into his hand.

Hannah smiled contentedly, and stepped forward to hook her hand around Evan’s wrist, "Let’s go!"

Evan glanced around the street, afraid of running into acquaintances nearby.

If they saw him wandering around with a little girl on the street, he feared he wouldn’t be able to explain himself.

Consequently, Evan withdrew his arm and said to Hannah, "Walk on your own."

Hannah naturally felt Evan’s rejection, she looked up and asked him, "Are you embarrassed?"

Evan, avoiding the question, said, "After dinner, head back on your own, I have to leave this evening."

Hannah hesitated, then quickly said, "I want to go with you!"
