Chapter 1762: Chapter 1761: Not Enough Parachutes

"Damn! Not enough parachutes!"

Shouted Meng Xianjun as he cursed, "Tang Ming’s box only has eight parachutes, we’re three short."

"What?"

Tang Ming froze in his actions, nearly stumbling. This private plane was carrying more people than ever before, and the staff was utterly unprepared.

Upon hearing this, those who already had parachutes clutched their parachute bags tightly; no one wanted to miss this chance for survival.

Even though having a parachute might not guarantee survival, in this situation, without a parachute, death was certain.

Tang Ming glanced around—Liu Mengting and Li Xiaoli both had parachutes, leaving just the three roommates busy taking care of the girls, forgetting about themselves.

"Damn it!"

Tang Ming cursed and shouted loudly, "Chen Cang, give your parachute to Hua Yingjie. Immediately use the seatbelt to tie yourself and Mengting together; you two will share one. Make sure to protect Mengting’s safety."

"Got it!"

Chen Cang followed Tang Ming’s orders without hesitation.

Tang Ming then took off his own parachute and tossed it to Shao Wuyou.

"What about you?"

Shao Wuyou looked at Tang Ming, moved.

"Li Xiaoli and I will share one."

While tearing safety belts, Tang Ming shouted without looking up, "Meng Xianjun, you and your girlfriend share one. Make sure to tie your bodies securely, understand?"

"No, I want my own!"

Upon hearing this, Ma Jiaran screamed, clutching the shoulder straps, refusing to let Meng Xianjun approach.

"You..."

Seeing Ma Jiaran’s stance, a murderous intent flashed in Meng Xianjun’s eyes; he nearly wanted to strike her down.

"I’ll share one with you."

Wu Xiaoxia sighed and reached out to Meng Xianjun voluntarily.

"Thanks."

Without wasting time, Meng Xianjun quickly moved toward Wu Xiaoxia.

"Boom, boom."

A moment later, the rear of the cabin exploded, flames and air currents rushed in, and numerous items were hurled out.

"Prepare to jump."

Tang Ming hoisted Li Xiaoli onto his back, opened the cabin door, and the strong airflow nearly swept everyone towards the explosion zone.

Faced with the pitch-black sky, everyone hesitated, scared to jump.

"Stop hesitating; the plane’s about to break apart. If you don’t jump now, the fragments will tear us apart."

Tang Ming shouted impatiently.

"Hell with it. If we die, we die."

Shao Wuyou roared and jumped out against the airflow.

"Going first, take care."

Hua Yingjie followed closely.

"Xiaoxia, let’s go."

Meng Xianjun and Wu Xiaoxia exchanged a glance, tightened their ropes, and jumped.

"Chen Cang, take care of Mengting, quickly jump."

Tang Ming shouted adamantly.

"Tang Ming, we’ll be okay, right? I regret letting Xiaoli sit beside you; I want to..."

Before Liu Mengting could finish, Chen Cang carried her and jumped out.

"You guys aren’t jumping?"

Tang Ming anxiously looked at the remaining three girls.

"I’m too scared."

Ma Jiaran and Liu Dongmei clung to the handrails, refusing to let go.

"I’m afraid, I have a fear of heights."

Mu Zixin cried out, "Tang Ming, jump with me, I’m willing to share a parachute with you."

"Damn, where were you earlier? If you want to die, just wait for it. I’m outta here."

Tang Ming cursed, ignoring them, and leapt out with Li Xiaoli.

"Wait for me!"

Seeing Tang Ming leave, Mu Zixin shrieked and jumped, grabbing hold of Tang Ming’s ankle.

Though terrified, Liu Dongmei and Ma Jiaran heard the explosions and forced themselves to jump.

Shortly after the parachuting began, the plane turned into a massive fireball, falling to the ground.

In a rapid descent, Tang Ming was burdened by the screaming Li Xiaoli, lamenting behind him: "Lady, don’t hold onto my leg; we’ll die this way."

"No way, I’m scared. Even if I die, I’ll drag you down too."

Mu Zixin clung to Tang Ming’s leg, refusing to let go.

"I can’t control my body like this."

Tang Ming cried out helplessly, unable to escape Mu Zixin’s grasp.

"Watch out!"

Just as Tang Ming resigned himself, Mu Zixin shouted suddenly.

"What now... Oh damn."

Tang Ming turned to see a brewing bottle in front of him, unable to dodge with the weight of two women, hitting him solidly, sending him spinning.

"I’m doomed."

That was Tang Ming’s last thought before losing consciousness.

For now, he and Li Xiaoli’s parachute pack awaited him to open it, and whether Mu Zixin could manage her pack was unknown. His loss of consciousness was basically the end.

Uncertain time passed; when Tang Ming regained consciousness, he saw glaring sunlight and a blue sky.

"Am I dead?"

Adjusting to the brightness, attempting to sit up, he felt a splitting headache, reaching for his head wrapped in clothing, saying, "That bottle cracked my skull. Damn, I keep getting injured lately."

"Hey, you’re awake!"

Just then, Li Xiaoli’s voice rang out.

Tang Ming quickly sat up, seeing the exhausted Li Xiaoli standing before him.

"Where are we now?"

Still dazed, Tang Ming looked around, realizing he lay on a beach.

"I don’t know. We fell into the sea after opening the parachute, luckily wearing life jackets, or we’d have drowned."

Li Xiaoli crouched down, staring at Tang Ming miserably, "Later, I passed out. When I woke, we were lying on the beach."

"How’s everyone else?"

Tang Ming attempted to sit up, worriedly glancing afar, seeing only the vast ocean: "Where is this place?"

"I don’t know about the others either."

Li Xiaoli shook her head, worriedly looking at Tang Ming, "We’re lucky enough to wash onto an island; if they’re floating at sea, won’t they die?"

"Staying in the seawater long, they’d likely be doomed."

Tang Ming sighed; floating on the sea without freshwater, without food, survival was dire.

"My phone’s waterlogged, completely unusable. What do we do now?"

Li Xiaoli wiped her tears, staring hopelessly at Tang Ming.

"Cool down. I don’t know what to do now either."

Tang Ming ruffled his hair; though he’d roamed abroad often, facing this vast ocean, he had no idea where he was, needing clarity before thinking of leaving.
