"Madam, the young master came to Crestfall alone without informing the butler, and we are currently unable to determine his location," Harold Chapman chose his words carefully.

The smile on Melody Thorne’s face instantly vanished, and even her voice rose a few octaves, "Say that again?"

Harold Chapman said, "We will locate the young master as soon as possible."

"No need," came a soft voice from behind the crowd,

Melody Thorne immediately spotted the little figure and quickly ran over to pick up Timmy, "Sweetheart, where did you go? How could you run off by yourself?"

"You were the one who left me behind," Timmy’s little face was full of grievance as he pointed at the several big men behind him, "I came looking for you and they kidnapped me."

The four men behind him kept twitching their mouths. They had kidnapped him, but now they were the ones who had been conquered by him.

Melody Thorne carried Timmy back to Jared Quinn, "Do you want to do the test now, or what?"

She was fearless anyway, since Timmy was her child,

"Right now," the old man spoke angrily.

His people had clearly reported that they were only married and did not have any children, and that Melody Thorne was not doing well in the Quinn Family,

"Then call the doctor over."

Very quickly, the Seymour Family called a doctor over; they were all their own people so nothing unexpected would happen.

Timmy didn’t know what they were doing but just cooperated; whatever Melody Thorne wanted him to do, he would do it.

In the hotel lobby, Melody Thorne ordered a lot of fruits and food while holding Timmy, watching him gorge himself in an unrefined manner, knowing he must have been starving.

"Eat more," Melody Thorne looked at him with heartache and earnestly instructed, "You can’t run off by yourself again, understand?"

"Who told you to leave without telling me?" Timmy complained, "We agreed that even if you left, you’d take me with you, but you didn’t even say a word."

"I promise there won’t be a next time, okay?"

The two of them continued their back-and-forth conversation, completely oblivious to Jared Quinn’s complicated emotions. This was his son, his wife, everything was so perfect.

For more than twenty years, he always thought he wouldn’t settle down, wouldn’t have children, wouldn’t have a wife, much less a happy family of three, and now he had it all. No one could understand this feeling.

People in the lobby, each with their own thoughts, were watching them, contemplating the next step.

"Sir, the results are in," the doctor quickly handed over the test report.

Seymour, the old man, didn’t take it, just looked at the last line with his eyes; it clearly stated that Melody Thorne and Timmy were mother and son.

Jared Quinn took the sheet, clenching his fingers tightly around it, the last line of words seemed to absorb into his eyes, making it impossible for him to look away, his strong heart continuously surging with emotions that couldn’t be calmed.

"See? I wasn’t lying to you." Melody Thorne leaned her head over, her little face full of pride.

Timmy was indeed her child.
