My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!
Chapter 610 - 581: Let’s Have a Heart-to-Heart Conversation
"Okay."
"Melody Thorne, you don’t have the right to revoke our status as heirs, only Grandpa can." Clara Seymour and Stella Seymour’s gazes were so dark at this moment that they seemed about to drip water.
"Wait." Melody Thorne looked at Leon Rivers lying on the bed and suddenly spoke, "Serve them a bowl each of the two medicines Leon just drank, let them taste that feeling."
"Okay." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
"Melody Thorne, Melody Thorne, you don’t have the right to do that."
"Melody Thorne, I won’t let you off."
"Melody Thorne..."
Melody Thorne stood by the door watching as Stella Seymour and Clara Seymour were fed two bowls of miscarriage-inducing medicine and slapped repeatedly. Only then did her tightly clenched fists slowly relax.
"Stop watching." A flash of murderous intent crossed Jared Quinn’s dark eyes. If they weren’t part of the Seymour Family, daring to harm his child, those guns were ready for them.
"How’s Leon Rivers?" Melody Thorne didn’t look at Leon Rivers again; it was distressing enough to see a grown man pass out from pain.
"He’ll be fine after two days of rest," Jared Quinn replied.
"What should be done with that servant?" Harold Chapman asked from behind them.
"I’ll leave that to you," Jared Quinn said, his face expressionless.
"Okay."
Leon Rivers only woke up in the evening, his handsome hair tousled into a bird’s nest by his own hands.
Damn, he could hardly believe it. He had endured the pain of a miscarriage, something meant for women, yet he experienced it himself.
"Leon Rivers, are you out of your mind?" Melody Thorne stood by the large bed, feeling a pang of guilt. "It’s all because of me that you’re like this."
Leon Rivers sat up, acting as if it was no big deal. When researching drugs, he often tested them on himself to understand their effects. The miscarriage medication was a first, though.
"No worries, no worries." Leon Rivers looked at Melody Thorne’s belly. "Little guy, your uncle saved your life."
The effect of that drug was so strong he couldn’t imagine what would have happened if Melody had drunk it.
"I’ll reserve the godfather spot for you," Jared Quinn interjected, emotionless.
Those words almost made Leon Rivers jump out of bed, his face flushed with excitement. "So, does that mean I’m becoming a dad too?"
"Hmm?"
"Godfather."
Jared Quinn’s expression finally eased a little. After this incident, he had asked Harold Chapman to bring in his own people, as no one from the Seymour Family could be trusted anymore. If Leon Rivers hadn’t intervened, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
"By the way, where are those two women being held?" Leon Rivers’ usually gentle gaze was now filled with coldness. "I want to have a chat with them."
Daring to commit such disgraceful acts right under Leon Rivers’ nose, they hadn’t thought about the consequences.
"Let Harold Chapman take you there, but don’t take their lives," Melody Thorne knew what Leon intended to do but absolutely did not want their lives to be harmed.
"Don’t worry, sis."
As Leon Rivers left, Jared Quinn ordered all the items on the large bed to be replaced. His grip around Melody Thorne’s shoulders subconsciously tightened, his handsome features still covered with a long-lasting frost.
"Alright, don’t be angry anymore. Let’s resolve things here quickly and return home soon," Melody Thorne’s fingers kneaded his forehead, slowly smoothing the icy aura there.
"You’re not planning to inherit this place?"
"Do you want me to inherit it?" Melody Thorne replied with a question, resting her head against his chest.
