Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins-Chapter 184-Someone Else’s Bride Now
Iris:
After telling me everything that was also done to the lycans by the werewolves over the years, my mother started to cry. I cried too because Aunt Teresa did not deserve that kind of ending. But my brother was humming and looking around, even bobbing his head as if he were listening to music we could not hear.
"So, what is the decision?" he asked, finally stopping his humming and turning to look at us.
My mother sniffled and wiped her cheeks, looking at me with hopeful eyes. What happened to her was terrible, but that did not change the fact that, through all of this, she had made me suffer too. For her, werewolves were the enemies. For me, she was the one who caused my pain.
"There is no need to worry about me and Kash anymore. There is nothing there. There will be nothing there," I reassured my mother, giving her a gentle nod, trying to make her understand that she did not have to think too much about me.
However, she shook her head again.
"No, you need to be done with it. You need to have a man so that Kash cannot come back and ask for the children," she commented.
"Mother, do you think our community is that weak that an alpha king will just enter and what makes you think you will not take away the children if I marry Luca?" I asked, trying to make sense of her words. The pain she spoke about felt real, but everything else she said felt like an excuse to control me.
"Iris, if you think of us as your enemy, then fine. But let me tell you this. We are not stepping away from our decision. So if you want to see your children again, if you want your father out of chains, or if you want Luca to survive and not die, then you will do as we tell you. Otherwise, you can look outside the window," my mother stated.
I rushed toward the window and threw the curtains aside. I saw the lycans and werewolves gathered outside. They had prepared the venue for the wedding, but that was not what she wanted me to see.
It was the groom on his knees, with a man holding a gun behind his head.
Then I saw my children and my father being brought out the same way, forced to kneel beside Luca in a row, their mouths covered and their hands tied behind their backs. Even Luca’s mouth was shut.
My children’s eyes were swollen, and I began to wonder if someone had harmed them. Someone had slapped them. I could see the handprint on Colin’s face.
"Who hurt him?" I asked my mother, turning around. "Who the fuck hurt my child?" I screamed.
"Well, if you care so much about them, then just get married," Wilson remarked, resting his hands on his waist.
"Make a wise decision," my mother advised before she patted my shoulder and stepped out of the room again with Wilson.
Wilson, however, did not leave entirely. Just as he reached the doorway, he motioned for the warriors to step outside while the maids began entering the room.
"Make sure she changes in ten minutes," Wilson warned. "If not, heads will start falling."
Wilson’s words sent chills down my spine. The four people kneeling outside were now at my mercy, and I knew Wilson was capable of anything.
I looked at the maids and motioned for them to turn around. Once they did, I picked up the wedding gown and examined it.
There was only one man in my heart and in my mind. Even after he had hurt me, it remained true that I could never fall in love with anyone else, perhaps not even with Kash himself.
I had wanted to die as his bride, but now I was realizing I had far more responsibilities than being a hopeless romantic maid, one who knew nothing except being pushed aside whenever he wished.
I changed into the dress and let the maids know. They turned around and began forming a line around me. It was their way of telling me it was time to leave.
We stepped together through the corridors, my gown dragging behind me and flowing with the movement of the air. Tears kept forming in my eyes.
I knew what I would do the moment they forced me to make a blood pact with Luca, I would be free. I would run away with my children once again.
I did not want to do it. Still, it was what I was known for now, running away.
I began moving toward the venue, and that was when the music started playing, its sound giving me a headache. I winced, closing my eyes briefly before continuing forward.
However, right at the beginning of the altar, Wilson rushed toward me in a black suit. Smiling widely.
"I will walk you down the aisle," he remarked while rubbing his hands in excitement. It was as if he knew exactly how to get on my nerves, how to remind me that even after ruining my life, he did not look guilty at all.
I shot him a harsh look, but he grabbed my hand and forcibly wrapped it around his arm.
"Now, let’s walk together," he stated, still smiling.
As soon as I stood before everyone, whispers spread through the crowd as they talked about me.
But it was my children my eyes were fixed on. I longed to go to them, to hold them close. They were crying, likely not understanding what was happening to them or why they were in such a state.
"Don’t worry. If you do as we tell you, you will be fine," Wilson hissed, even though he kept a smile on his lips. He gently pinched the back of my hand, forcing me to obey his orders and smile for the sake of my children, my father, and my friend Luca.
