Chu Miao teleported out of the truck and onto its roof.

She stood there steadily, her boots planted into the bulletproof metal without making a sound.

She turned towards the wall attracted by the presence of a single man.

A smile formed on her lips when she spotted Ye Xuan, who was equally focused on her.

She didn’t even register the presence of the other people on the wall.

However, that didn’t matter. She nodded at Ye Xuan before jumping off the truck and onto the ground.

She walked around the truck to the back and lifted the canvas covering the back of the truck.

A sound barrier had been created around the truck, which was why the people outside could not hear the angry roars of the tied zombies inside.

Now as the canvas was removed, so was the barrier.

Soon, the area was filled with deafening roars of zombies who were struggling to break free from the rope trying them.

This scene surprised those standing on the wall.

The zombies that managed to land on the ground, some had broken limbs, but since they weren’t limited by pain, they stood up anyway with their bones cracking and rotten flesh falling and ran towards the wall where the vitality of living humans pulsed loudly and the smell of the blood in their veins charged their greed.

Unfortunately, they didn’t even make it to the tertiary trenches that had just been dug.

New vines grew rapidly, wrapping around them and pulling them below as the ground split open before swallowing them and moving back together to close up the split.

The whole scene left those standing on the wall in awe. They had heard Chu Miao talk about the mutated plants eating zombies but they hadn’t expected it to be so dramatic.

Watching dozens of zombies disappear without a trace in less than five minutes was insane.

But this also proved that they had allies from other species. Not just humans could be their allies in the battle against zombies, plants could count as well.

"This is incredible. Even if a large army of millions showed up, we can be sure that a certain number will be reduced by the plants around the base even before we engage them.

This is a good thing." Commander Shen said proudly as if he was the one who had discovered the secret of the mutated plants.

"But this also has a downside to it." Ye Xuan suddenly said while his eyes still remained on his girlfriend who was still floating in the air.
