Became a Demon with Pregnancy System-Chapter 97: Mentor
Tanya’s face paled.
Even the Totem Serpent, which had been idly watching the conversation, let out a low, warning hiss.
Thalindor.
The Purple Forbidden Zone.
One of the most dangerous territories in Skandia.
The entire region was ruled by monstrous demons, filled with thousands of species of powerful creatures, each stronger than the last.
Every single peak was home to at least one Commander-level beast.
The area was so infested that humans had long since abandoned any attempt to settle there.
The only reason Thalindor hadn’t been classified as a Black Forbidden Zone was because no Demon Emperor had claimed the region officially.
However, just because humans hadn’t found one, didn’t mean there wasn’t one hidden there already.
For Elias to say that she lived there—
That was insane.
Luke took a step closer, his eyes darkening.
"Elias," he said, his voice firm, "are you sure you’re talking about Thalindor?"
Elias blinked.
"That’s what you call it," she said. "Why? What’s the problem?"
Luke’s eyelid twitched.
This girl had no idea how absurd her words sounded.
Even super-mages didn’t dare to set foot in Thalindor for long periods.
And she was saying there was an entire village there?
Not just hiding, but thriving?
Either she was lying, or there was something seriously unnatural going on.
Luke exchanged glances with Tanya.
They both knew—this was trouble.
Luke folded his arms.
"So, what’s your plan?" he asked.
"After you get the snake venom and make your Poison Technique, you’re going back to Thalindor?"
Elias shook her head.
"The entrance to my village isn’t open yet," she said.
"When the time comes, I’ll call you."
Luke paused.
"...Wait, what?"
Elias looked at him, completely serious.
"You saw me. That means you have to come back with me."
"That’s the rule of our village."
Her eyes flashed with a strange, binding energy.
"You met me, so you belong to me now. Do you think you can just walk away?"
Luke’s jaw nearly dropped.
"...Excuse me?!"
Was she trying to trap him?!
This girl... was kidnapping him with her village’s traditions?!
Luke suddenly felt like prey instead of a hunter.
Tanya burst out laughing.
"Luke," she smirked, "you finally met your match."
Luke rubbed his temples.
’Damn it.’
He had no idea what he was getting into now.
But he had a feeling it was going to be chaotic as hell.
The structure of the Arcadia Academy campus was quite similar to that of Celestial Academy.
Students were divided between the new campus and the main campus.
However, there was one major difference—a test of strength.
If a new student wanted to advance from the new campus to the main campus, they had to either defeat an existing main campus student or achieve the rank of a Two-Star Hunter.
If they failed to meet these requirements within two years, they would be forcibly expelled.
This rule had shaped the academy into an environment of constant battle.
It was not unusual to hear the sounds of duels echoing across the school at any given time.
The combat arenas were never empty.
The classrooms, however?
That was a different story.
Unlike Celestial Academy, where theoretical classes were still attended, the students of Arcadia Academy prioritized only two things:
Demon Combat Training
Live Demon Hunting Classes
Magic theory lectures were often ignored in favor of practical combat.
Yet, today, every seat was filled.
The reason?
A young man—who appeared to be the same age as many of them—was standing at the front of the classroom.
Luke, their new mentor, looked too young.
In fact, to some of the older students, he looked like a junior.
For many, this was nothing short of an insult.
However, a small minority of students recognized him.
They had witnessed his power firsthand.
Their ears were pricked up, their eyes sharp—they knew that this would be no ordinary lesson.
Luke, however, was not amused.
Standing at the podium, Luke frowned.
Teaching?
Lectures?
This wasn’t what he signed up for.
When Professor Xavier had sent him to Arcadia Academy, he assumed his role as a mentor would involve leading students on demon hunts.
That would’ve been perfect.
He could’ve used those missions to devour souls, grow stronger, and expand his abilities.
But instead—
This.
A classroom full of students expecting him to teach magic theory.
Luke rubbed his temples in frustration.
"I am a super genius," he muttered under his breath.
"My magic is one of a kind—no one else can even copy it."
The idea of trying to teach was pointless.
His magic wasn’t something that could be replicated or understood through textbooks.
Luke had every intention of skipping class entirely—but then, fate played a cruel joke.
On his way out, he ran into the ever-enthusiastic bald Headmaster.
With no escape, he was dragged back into the classroom.
Luke scratched his head impatiently and glanced around.
To his surprise, there were some familiar faces in the room.
Elias Vaughn, with his pale complexion and sharp gaze, sitting beside...
Hazel Ross, who was watching him with calm curiosity.
And—
In the corner, a certain blonde-haired, wavy woman was glaring daggers at him.
The world was too small.
Luke cleared his throat.
"Ahem."
"Hello, everyone," he said lazily.
"My name is Luke, and I’m an exchange mentor from Celestial Academy."
Before he could continue, a male student stood up.
The student adjusted his black-and-gold glasses, his eyes filled with skepticism.
"Excuse me, Mentor," he said sarcastically.
"We’ll call you a mentor out of respect, but do you actually know how to teach?"
His gaze swept over Luke critically.
"You don’t look much older than us. In fact, I’d say you’re probably younger than some of the students here."
"So, tell me, why did Celestial Academy send you? Was it to mock Arcadia Academy?"
Luke looked at the student blankly.
Then—
Without a word, he casually waved his hand.
The student suddenly felt his entire body lift off the ground.
