Became a Demon with Pregnancy System-Chapter 99: Parthenon’s soul
"How does it feel to be a teacher?" Dean Silas asked, still grinning.
"Are you feeling the honor of imparting knowledge?"
Luke’s lips twitched slightly.
For some reason, this bald old man was always laughing.
What was so funny?
Luke sighed internally and replied,
"Dean Silas, next time, please don’t assign me these kinds of classes. I’m not a lecturer—I’m better with practical lessons."
Dean Silas’ eyebrows rose.
"What do you mean by that?"
Luke leaned back, crossing his arms.
"Our school has a field training course, right?" he said.
"Next time, assign me that instead."
Dean Silas’ expression shifted slightly.
"Field training, huh?" he said, rubbing his chin.
"That’s not an easy assignment... and you’re still quite young for it."
"Besides, demons have been strangely quiet lately. There haven’t been any major outbreaks."
"In Arcadia, the only two places with active demon territories are Lion City and Hecheng."
"But those locations are controlled by Commander-level Lords—at the very least."
"They’re not safe for students."
He emphasized the words Commander-level on purpose, trying to scare Luke off.
Luke’s eyes gleamed.
"Perfect," he said.
"Just pick one of the two. I’ll take the students there tomorrow."
Dean Silas froze.
"...Excuse me?"
Luke smiled.
"You heard me. Schedule a trip to Lion City. I’ll handle it."
Dean Silas’ bald head turned red as he tried to process what he had just heard.
"Luke, do you understand what I’m saying?"
"I said that those places are ruled by at least Commander-level demons, and some might even be Sub-Monarchs!"
"Exactly!" Luke grinned.
"Sounds like a great opportunity!"
Dean Silas’ face twitched.
"Wait, hold on—"
But Luke clapped him on the shoulder.
"Don’t worry, if anything goes wrong, just let my teacher know."
Dean Silas choked on his words, his bald head turning even redder.
Luke had already decided.
There was no stopping him.
A Sub-Monarch?
That was just a bonus. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Luke still needed to devour at least five Sub-Monarch spirits to fully advance to Monarch-level.
This was the perfect chance.
"Wait, Luke!" Dean Silas called out.
"If you want to go, you’ll need to bring at least fifteen students!"
Luke paused.
Fifteen?
He glanced at the students still in the hall, then smirked.
Good thing this was Arcadia Academy.
At Celestial Academy, getting students to join would have been impossible.
"Alright," Luke said.
"Students, tomorrow’s class is a field training mission in Lion City!"
"The teacher guarantees that each of you will become at least a Two-Star Hunter!"
"If you’re already a Two-Star, you’ll be promoted to Three-Star!"
"Raise your hand if you’re interested!"
The students’ eyes lit up.
Especially the ones who had experienced Luke’s power firsthand.
In seconds, more than fifty students raised their hands.
Luke grinned.
"Looks like I’ll have to pick and choose."
Dean Silas was speechless.
Suddenly, two feminine voices spoke up.
"Mentor Luke, if you don’t mind, I’d like to join as well."
"Same here, Mentor Luke. I’m interested."
Luke turned his head, surprised.
One of them was Perola.
The other...
Was someone he didn’t recognize.
Luke raised an eyebrow.
Was this the power of his charm?
"Perola, Edonna, what are you two doing here together? The Lion City is a dangerous place," Dean Silas said, rubbing his bald head in disbelief.
These two Frostgard exchange tutors had never shown much interest in school activities before.
Yet, here they were, seemingly gravitating toward Luke’s class.
"Mr. Dean, Mr. Luke’s class is very interesting, and I think his outdoor training session should be beneficial," said Edonna, another Frostgard mentor, with a soft smile.
Unlike Perola, who had a fiery and unrestrained personality, Edonna appeared more composed—which was in contrast to her strikingly hot appearance.
Luke, however, didn’t care who joined—as long as he wasn’t stuck in another dreadful theory class.
Besides, Elias Vaughn had already told him that once they visited her village, he’d finally be able to complete his "mission".
That meant staying at Arcadia Academy for a while longer.
This was a perfect opportunity to nurture his relationship with Hazel Ross.
Once her soul awakened, he planned to hit a home run in one go!
"You’ll all head to the Hunter’s Hall today and pick up missions. You can accept all available Lion City tasks," Luke instructed.
"Feel free to do as you please, mentors. See you all tomorrow."
Dean Silas hesitated but eventually sighed in resignation.
He gave Luke a few parting words of advice before leaving the classroom.
After the students filed out, Luke made his way toward Hazel Ross, but his gaze quickly shifted to Elias Vaughn, who still had her pale male disguise in place.
"Hazel, can you tell what she looks like?" Luke asked.
If Hazel could truly see Elias’s real form, it would mean that her soul’s awakening process had already begun.
"What does she look like?"
Hazel blinked and turned toward Elias.
"Elias is very beautiful," she said without hesitation.
At her response, Elias shrugged casually.
"Originally, I didn’t plan to make friends," she admitted.
"I just wanted to complete my task and go back to save my grandfather."
"But somehow... no matter how I alter my appearance, she still sees me as I truly am."
Elias’s voice carried a note of frustration—but also fascination.
Luke, however, wasn’t surprised.
"The power of the Parthenon’s soul," he mused.
That explained everything.
It was no wonder these two had bonded so quickly.
"By the way, remember to meet me at the school gate tomorrow," Luke reminded them.
"Elias, you’re in charge of keeping Hazel safe."
Elias nodded nonchalantly, but Hazel suddenly looked uneasy.
"Luke, why are you bringing me along?" she asked, lowering her gaze.
"My movements are... not convenient."
She clenched her hands in frustration.
Luke grinned, his eyes twinkling mischievously.
"Don’t worry," he said.
"I’ll give you a gift tomorrow."
"A gift?"
Elias immediately perked up, her eyes gleaming with expectation.
"I want a gift too!" she declared.
Luke chuckled, shaking his head.
"Didn’t I already give you your gift last night?" he teased.
