After Lin Xuan Qi finished half of the tea in his teacup, Yue Xin was still counting the wooden chests and Liu Shi Shi was still standing there at the entrance with the doors open.
"It’s only five wooden chests, how long would you need to count them? And you..." He turned and glanced at Liu Shi Shi, "...Don’t you think it would be weird to have the doors open."
Liu Shi Shi reacted first and she wanted to stand on guard outside but he stopped her.
"Ask your guards to do it." He said and shook his head at her.
Then, he glanced back at Yue Xin.
Yue Xin stopped her incessant counting, lowered her head and said, "It’s in order, all the wooden chests with the gold and silver ingots are here."
Both of them stood where they were and waited.
He frowned at them, shook his head and said, "Anything on my face?"
Lin Xuan Qi brushed his face, pretending to see if there was anything stuck on his face for them to look at him in this manner.
Finally, Liu Shi Shi couldn’t take it anymore.
She closed the doors behind her and asked, "So, how do we sleep for the night?"

She quickly shook her head and replied, "No, nothing. I’ll ask the waiter to send the dinner to your room."
Yue Xin fled from the scene leaving Lin Xuan Qi alone in the room.
He smiled and shook his head at himself for teasing them again.
When will he ever get bored with this? He thought silently to himself.
But when he glanced at the wooden chests that were in the room, he gave out a sigh.
It was troublesome moving them around physically.
He thought about credit notes but it would involve even more effort from him if he was to try and implement them in the Da Qian Dynasty.

The waiter knocked on the door and said, "Here’s your dinner, young master."

The waiter, with a tray in his hands, came in and placed the dishes that were on the tray onto the table.
And after he was done, he gave him a deep bow and left the room.
Yue Xin sat down beside him and said, "Let me help you."
She picked up her pair of chopsticks and got some of the chicken meat onto them with a huge grin.
It had been so long that she had wanted to do this.
All this while she could only see Yue Jie doing it for him.
And now that Yue Jie wasn’t around, she finally had the chance to do so.
Lin Xuan Qi shrugged and took a bite from the chicken meat that was in front of him.
"At this rate, I’ll become a useless young master soon." He said and Yue Xin had already picked up another mouthful of vegetable.
Liu Shi Shi wasn’t sure if she should join in.
And after some hesitation, she sat beside him on the other side.
It didn’t take too long for them to finish the meal and Lin Xuan Qi ushered them to have an early rest.

All of them met in the dining area of the inn and when Huo Fei Li saw Lin Xuan Qi, he waved at him.
"How was last night? Had a good rest?" Huo Fei Li said with a smirk.

Lin Xuan Qi rolled his eyes at them and sat down opposite Huo Fei Li.
"I had a good rest." He said and waited for the waiter to finish pouring the cup of tea in front of him.
"That’s all?" Huo Fei Li asked with a hint of disappointment.
He thought that Lin Xuan Qi might be happy with his arrangement, seeing how he was with Yue Jie and Liu Shi Shi.
"Yes, that’s all. What were you expecting?" Lin Xuan Qi narrowed his eyes and glanced at Huo Fei Li, sending a chill down his spine.
Lin Xuan Qi moved his focus and glanced at Sima Long next.
