Chapter 461: All For Nothing?

On the continent, Camille’s eyes widened, and she immediately looked ready to charge forward. But a hand suddenly grabbed her arm with force. She turned and met Lucy’s serious gaze.

"Please, trust him," Lucy said in a nervous tone, making it clear she was also worried. But if Darian said he would handle everything alone and she interfered, he’d definitely be upset.

Camille swallowed hard and turned her eyes back to the center of it all. Then she took out an artifact and hastily sent a message: "Open the seal of the World Tree. If he needs help, I’m going all in."

Nikolai already had his armor fully on, ready to strike at the slightest sign of danger. Tian Yu kept her hands on her waist, where her sword rested.

Up in the battlefield above the sea, everyone was staring coldly at Darian.

"You crazy bastard! Where did you send her?!" Vahlur roared, his face twisted with rage.

Darian smiled faintly, looking straight at him. "Don’t play dumb. Everyone saw clearly that I used a simple spatial artifact with a short range. She’s obviously on the continent, real close."

Camille heard that and immediately understood why Lucius wasn’t with them. He must’ve been watching and making sure Mallory couldn’t escape; she was probably taken into the clan’s new facilities. In other words, Darian had planned everything long ago — and even the twins knew about it beforehand.

"Great, great, you really have guts," Vahlur spat coldly.

Everyone there was powerful, but none were crazy enough to invade Aeternum Atlantis. They knew that defense was the strongest aspect of that people’s wood element. If they entered that land and Camille decided to kill them no matter what, not even all of them together, burning their lives away, would make it out alive.

That continent was covered by tropical forest, preserved as much as possible. And its rulers avoided building big structures that destroyed too much of it — not by coincidence.

All that nature could be used and turned into wood power. That place was a true fortress of death, a prison for anyone foolish enough to attack them.

Now that Mallory was inside... the only way to bring her back safely was standing right before them.

Darian smiled as he saw their expressions. "You think you’re all that, huh?"

The three emperors snorted and drew their weapons. At the same time, everyone around them did the same.

Everything about Darian was strange and hard to read. And what he’d just done moments ago was completely absurd. They couldn’t believe he’d actually pulled that off. Still, now, surrounded on all sides with everyone activating their powers, it should’ve been impossible for him to escape or move like that again.

As before, Darian had only used the spatial artifact’s power brutally, compensating for his lack of skill with it. If these people were above average, they might’ve sensed something just before he acted. But Darian was dealing with nine-ring cultivators from Earth, who were, at best, mediocre.

Vahlur turned and glared toward Camille on the continent.

"Empress Camille! Hand over my wife right now, or I’ll capture him and take him away. I swear... I’ll make him beg for death every—"

Suddenly, he stopped mid-sentence and turned around.

Then his eyes met Darian’s.

In that instant, deep within Darian’s soul, a seal made of chaos power was completely undone.

Everyone around felt their hearts freeze.

At the same time, every living being on the planet — no matter where they were — felt as if a hammer had slammed into their chests.

Darian exhaled, finally letting his semi-immortal soul free for the first time since he’d subdued the Demons and the Charming Eyes Race after returning.

He took a deep breath — and then his Primordial Physique surged at full force.

All the chaos power flowed into his seven stars, making them pulse. His living, multicolored aura expanded and expanded, like a sun lighting up the night.

Everyone on the continent of the Aeternum Atlantis Empire — and even those farther away in New Arcadia and the Solar Federation — could see that light on the horizon and feel the oppressive, terrifying presence of something beyond them.

The Primordial Physique could only exist because Darian had both a perfect primordial soul and core. Everything was connected, and he could only use his physique at full power when he released everything.

Before, he hadn’t used his full power because it wouldn’t have made a difference against an immortal — and it was better to save energy. The problem was that at its peak, that physique burned through chaos power at an insane rate. He couldn’t fight more than a few minutes in that form.

Camille, Lucy, and everyone else watching from afar were completely frozen for a few seconds, unable to believe what they were sensing. Especially the three allied Emperors, who realized just how close his presence was to that of an immortal.

’So jealous... I wish I could see how amazing you look right now...’ a soft voice echoed in Darian’s mind.

Mentally, he muttered back, ’Lend me a bit of your Bloodline.’

’Take it all, I’ll recover in less than a day,’ Niara replied, excited to see the roles reversed.

Darian drew a dagger and held it calmly. In his other hand was a simple spatial artifact.

Then he turned to Vahlur with a mocking look.

"What’s wrong? You said you were gonna capture me or whatever. Show me if you’ve actually got what it takes."

The elf took a deep breath, calmed himself, and his body pulsed at full strength, activating his nine rings. He gestured, and the winds around him spun and shimmered like a ring encircling him.

That elf was a Mage class. And that was a high-complexity blessing that used high-tier wind. It was rare for anyone to master it perfectly; after all, even the smallest mistake could kill the user with their own power. It required absolute control and talent with that element.

But beyond its offensive power, it granted great speed and allowed the Mage to escape easily from danger.

"You insane brat, looks like I’ll have to teach you a lesson myself."

Darian rolled his eyes. "Blah, blah, blah... I’ve heard the same crap a thousand times. Come at me alone if you’ve got the guts — or all at once, that’d save me some time."

Everyone around stared at that radiant, colorful figure, gripping their weapons tighter.

Inside, they were completely shaken — Darian’s aura messed with their minds and souls, making them subtly lose control of their powers. None of them had ever felt anything like it. He only had four rings... how the hell was that even possible?

"So that’s what it means to be a missionary... I’ve heard about immortals before, but I thought it was just some fancy title, some old legend," Vahlur muttered.

"But missionary or not, you’re still weak. You think that little show of yours scares anyone for real? Everyone here knows that’s not true power, just some trick to intimidate."

Darian shrugged. "Ok..."

Suddenly, like a ghost, he vanished right in front of them again.

"!"

The light around him disappeared, and a wave of panic spread through the crowd.

Then—

**BANG!!**

Everyone turned in shock, seeing a violent impact explode among them.

The elf took a brutal punch straight to the face — then shot off like a red meteor, crashing down toward the ocean. He hit with a thunderous boom, tearing open a massive crater in the water.

It all happened in a flash.

Those still in the air turned toward Darian and activated their blessings. But he didn’t waste a second — the instant he made his first move, his aura shifted. The rainbow glow instantly turned into a draconic green.

He slashed his dagger toward a nearby man.

Anbon looked at him, eyes gleaming with excitement. "GOOD! I WANNA DEAL WITH YOU MYSELF!!"

Without hesitation, Anbon unleashed his Spiritual Technique and blessing at full power. His body pulsed with unmatched physical strength; the space around him cracked like shattered glass. The warhammer in his hands roared forward.

Darian moved within five meters of the incoming strike and smiled.

All the draconic power given by Niara twisted and was sucked into his dagger, condensing entirely within it.

*Blinding Break!*

Everything was poured into that single attack.

Darian could channel anything through that technique — but of course, each element or energy gave a different effect. The common ones just added a faint touch of their nature to the strike.

But that Draconic Bloodline... when he unleashed all of it—

The world seemed to lose its color. Then everyone watching felt like they’d fallen into a crushing illusion.

They saw the shadow of a long, majestic Dragon appear, its claws slashing down like blades that could split the world in two.

When the green blade shot forward, Anbon finally felt real fear — his eyes went wide as he sensed death racing toward him.

**KBOOOOM!**

The entire planet felt the violent explosion — the sea below quaked, and colossal tsunamis rose. Those floating in the air were blown back thousands of meters by the shockwave.

Seconds later, Vahlur burst up from the ocean with his face mangled.

The air had settled again, and he frantically looked around—

—until he saw Darian floating in the sky. His dagger was buried deep in the chest of a blood-covered figure, so torn apart that it was hard to even recognize who it was.

But... the lingering traces of nine-ring power and a Spiritual Technique could still be felt.

That was Anbon — a man with strength on par with the emperors of that planet.

Darian looked down at him coldly, his voice cutting through the silence:

"Because of your incompetence, people from your clan made my mother suffer and die... I only wanted to punish the main culprits, thinking you’d understand... I really was too naïve and stupid."

Anbon trembled, feeling his body completely shattered inside and out.

"So... you had the nerve to slaughter my clan’s people sadistically, doing it right in front of my sister. Do you have any idea how much you made her cry? The pain you caused? All for nothing? We never even had a grudge that deep... but fine. I won’t let you die easily."

Without another word, the dagger vibrated.

*Booom*

Anbon exploded into a bloody mist — his entire body obliterated.

But only the body. Darian, without the slightest hint of mercy, sealed his soul using the power of chaos.

Then he took out the same artifact as before and sent the captured soul toward the continent.
