Going back a bit in time.

Lucy and Alear, who were on the inside of the barrier, saw Darian and Niara being completely swallowed by the enemies' terrifying sealing inscription.

Lucy's eyes widened. More than anyone else, she understood the horrifying level of that inscription. It used the entire existence of three Primordial Beasts as its core, and three Spiritual Sovereigns were manipulating everything.

Even gravely injured, they still possessed immortal power and great control. The union of those things created a seal that was impossible for anyone to break free from.

Darian had already told her the basis of his plan before. He knew those Spiritual Sovereigns were hiding something powerful, capable of dealing even with an immortal. But that certainty came without any extra information.

Darian had many hypotheses, such as an offensive power, an artifact from some universe, or even the fusion of several other things. Because of that, he didn't use any of his main weapons, preparing himself for those possibilities.

But a sealing inscription... that was the worst-case scenario. Once inside, he would never be able to get out, and no one outside had the strength to help them, not even those four Spiritual Sovereigns.

If only Darian had known the core of that inscription beforehand, maybe he would've had a chance to create something to escape, but he didn't have time to figure it out.

Suddenly, Lucy snapped out of her daze, feeling a terrifying primordial power surge. She turned in shock, but...

"NO! COME BACK!"

Alear had already shot forward, leaving the barrier.

Lucy was completely exhausted after that battle, so she reacted too slowly and, even then, couldn't do much.

Alear had managed to recover some of her power after retreating into the barrier and swallowing a few pills. Now, she activated everything she had left, receiving a boost and speed unlike anything before.

In less than a second, she was already far too distant for Lucy to even dream of pulling her back.

The three Spiritual Sovereigns saw that Dragoness charge out, surprised. But when they saw her heading straight for the runes imprisoning the couple, they just smiled ironically.

After all, once everything was activated, attacking the inscription directly was definitely a fast way to die. Not even they, at full strength, would risk that.

The only way to free someone trapped in an inscription like that was to attack those controlling it. Attacking the runes would cause all the power to turn against you in a devastating counterattack.

Alear roared as she got extremely close to the runes. Without any hesitation, her entire body and soul vibrated. There was a different light in her eyes.

Alear could be many things, but stupid wasn't one of them. In fact, Niara had told her countless times to never panic and to trust Darian. After everything, Alear was sure her adoptive father could solve anything. But...

The moment she saw that inscription being activated.

She instinctively felt something that only she, on the outside, could sense.

It was using the power of the Primordial Beasts in a very unique way. The three enemies were linking everything to their spiritual roots, which were naturally connected to the laws of the world, to create something similar to how Niara used her blessing.

In short, that inscription was an imitation of a reality-distorting blessing. But it was a terrifying kind of blessing, born from the union of those three figures and the sacrifice of three Primordial Beasts.

As a result, they were able to borrow the power of the world's laws and create that prison.

As for Alear... she felt that those three had never used this inscription before, much less primordial power. They were complete amateurs manipulating something for the first time.

She, on the other hand, was born and had lived her short life so far with a body completely purified and nurtured by that power. She had the same connection to that energy that a fish has to water.

Alear was only a few meters from the runes. Seeing that the three enemies had no intention of stopping her, she sighed in relief.

Then she clenched her fists and raised her focus to the maximum.

'I can do this!'

Her scales pulsed. Her body radiated extreme power, with every cell releasing its contained essence.

"WHAT?!"

At that instant, the three Spiritual Sovereigns felt that power erupt from her and widened their eyes. It was similar to what they were using, but hers was at least a thousand times purer.

It was like they were manipulating filthy, muddy water, while she possessed crystal-clear, sacred water.

Even though they had refined three entire mid-tier Primordial Beasts, that didn't compare to the level of purity of a single person. How could something like that exist?

Unfortunately for them, in battle, Alear had only made one attack using her maximum power and even used Awel as support, greatly altering the perception of her true strength. Because of that, the three hadn't noticed this peculiarity before. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

Now it was too late. Alear had already shouted and attacked.

**KBOOOOM!**

A wave of destruction swept in all directions, along with a blinding light.

On the inside...

Darian and Niara heard a deafening explosion. Then, a crack spread out in front of them, and light poured in through it.

It was a small opening, not even a meter tall, and its width was like a half-open door.

Both were terrified because they managed to hear Alear's scream. When they looked to the other side...

...they saw a blood-covered figure, with all her scales shattered and a terrible appearance, forcing herself forward through that passage. She attacked and chose to seriously injure herself to push through the wave of destruction, without retreating.

Darian had never felt such pain in his chest. Without any hesitation, he reached out and pulled her inside. In the next second, the opening closed completely.

She did all of that, but didn't have enough strength to change the outcome. It was impossible for Darian and Niara to pass through and escape. If Alear hadn't forced herself forward through the destruction, not even she would've been able to enter.

Darian hugged her tightly and moved his white power, healing her completely.

In two seconds, Alear took a deep breath, feeling completely healed.

"You stupid brat!" Niara roared furiously. Hurting herself like that and making Darian feel it was a stupid and impulsive act.

Alear stood up and lowered her head, unable to look Niara in the eyes. She really had acted without thinking much, just letting her instincts take over and feeling that she had to move.

Niara snorted, unable to accept that her adoptive daughter had simply acted just like her. As for Darian… he was already very used to that problematic style the two of them shared.

"It's fine," Darian said, sighing. "I was planning to destroy all of this and escape, but…"

Darian's eyes suddenly changed. He moved his hand to her chin, gently lifting Alear's gaze to meet his.

"This prison is basically like a blessing. And it's being sustained by the spiritual roots of the three of them, right?"

Alear heard the question and nodded quickly.

Darian nodded back, his eyes shining. "Great, you just gave me a good idea."

Darian wasn't worried about that prison, because he was sure that, by using the power of Origin, he could break it and escape.

Lucy had no idea about that power. She had only seen him use it once before and thought it was only possible under very specific circumstances.

That power had killed Vanh and even destroyed the missionary's immortal power like it was nothing; an inscription being used by three dying Spiritual Sovereigns wouldn't be a problem.

But now, seeing Alear manage to enter using only her own strength, he connected the dots and understood what it really was.

"Niara," Darian said, turning to her, "I'll attack with everything and create an opening. Alear managed it with her power, but you also have that in your primordial core, even if in much smaller quantity. The two of you should be able to push through the opening… I just need one second."

Niara met Darian's eyes and immediately understood. A smile appeared on her face. "Hehe… let's fuck them up."

Darian nodded and turned to Alear. "Girl, you're not a child anymore. This is going to be really dangerous, and I'll need your help. If you dared to come…"

"I won't be a burden! Don't worry about me, I'll help, not get in the way." She spoke quickly, her eyes shining. Right after that, she took out her emergency pill and swallowed it without hesitation.

That pill only existed in a single unit. It was the highest-level thing Veyle had created recently, and she had given it to her adoptive daughter. It would restore her power very quickly, at the cost of her vital energy.

For any race, especially humans, swallowing that pill was the same as sacrificing yourself in exchange for power.

But for those with the bloodline of a Primordial Dragon, it was a miraculous pill. They could recover extremely fast, as if they had a second life. When all the extra energy ran out, they would become very weak for a while, but nothing too serious, because with two rounds to fight, they would win any battle.

After that, as long as there was even a minimal trace of vital energy left in the body and the person didn't die, the bloodline would naturally generate more vital energy, restoring the body. That was the power of a Dragon.

Alear had time to recover before, and since she only had one pill and Darian hadn't ordered her to use it, she recovered slowly with other pills. But in this attack, the pill needed a minute to start taking effect. She felt she had to attack immediately and couldn't wait.

Darian drew his three daggers.

"Awel, Tir, Eleri; the plans have changed. You should be able to perfectly feel their connection to the laws of the world. I'm going to use you together, don't hold back anything at all."

"YES!"

The three daggers floated up and radiated an extreme elemental aura. Thanks to that Heavenly Annihilation and Meru's help, the three had a supreme power shot stored in their bodies to be used whenever necessary.

Adding the two Fire and Lightning Runes Darian had in his body, he could use his offensive technique five times with each of them. Adding the black power, there was a sixth time.

But now, he would activate the power of the five elements together in a single move. Something he had never dared to test before, because he felt it would be hard to endure. But…

Thanks to Alear showing something new, this was a unique chance that appeared before him. He couldn't hold back anything and had to take the risk to get as much as possible.

His goal was to severely injure the three enemies. That he had already achieved, plus destroying the body of one of them as a bonus.

Now… he would get a random bonus, which could be something small… or something much, much better.

One minute passed quickly.

Alear snorted and released a primordial aura once again.

At that moment, Darian closed his eyes.

Inside his body… his four cores pulsed.

Inside each of them, countless runes full of power, coming from Niara, also poured out all their energy.

Darian opened his eyes.

The Ninth Zenith was activated at full strength for the first time.

At that instant, the laws of the entire universe stirred in response.

A power that shouldn't exist was born. It was still just a ridiculously tiny remnant, but it was already far beyond the power that even an immortal could wield. That was the most serious threat the laws of the world could feel.

---

At the same time, in a place very, very far away.

A pair of eyes opened in the middle of absolute darkness. A glint appeared in them, along with subtle surprise.

"A power far beyond the laws was just born…" he said in a thoughtful, somewhat confused voice.

In the same second, another identical voice, but in a completely different tone, echoed in his mind, breaking his thoughts: 'Idiot, it's that thing our daughter asked us to help with. That bastard is really moving fast.'

"Oh! I had completely forgotten about that. Ninth Zenith, huh… she took inspiration from our technique."

'Meh, that idiot is going to kill himself with that at some point. I told her not to give that to him. Later, she'll come crying, asking us to help even more…'

That figure murmured, replying to the voice in his mind: "Yeah, and you'll help while pretending to be angry, like always. Why not just accept that you do everything she wants already? As for him… he's doing very well, by the way."

Only a dry, indifferent snort sounded in response.
