Demonic Skeleton God-Chapter 58: Itai’s Talent
Chapter 58: Itai’s Talent
Itai entered the Adventurers’ Guild and headed to the selling room. He waited in line for a while until he reached the counter.
"Excuse me, was there a big adventurer here selling 3 sacks?" Itai asked.
The man with green eyes behind the counter gave Itai a thorough look from top to bottom before asking, "And are you his...?"
"I’m his good friend," Itai replied.
"Alright, come with me," the man said, opening a door. Then they went downstairs to the underground area.
"The giant gave us the sacks, and I sent them for inspection. After five minutes, he came to me and started showing me something with his fingers as if he were mute."
"But then he suddenly got angry and attacked me, so I had to subdue him, and now he’s down in the prison," the man said.
Itai’s eyes widened. ’What did that thick-headed idiot do?’ he thought.
"We deeply apologize. He has some issues in his life and behaves strangely," Itai lied.
The man looked at him. "I don’t want to deal with this any longer, so if he doesn’t cause any more trouble, you can take him. Also, give him this—the money for those bodies," the man said, tossing him a pouch of coins.
Then they reached a dark room with small cells. Eventually, they came to a large one where Zheren was held. The man released Zheren and then escorted them out of the Adventurers’ Guild.
Once they were outside, Itai looked at him angrily. "What the hell was that supposed to mean?" he said, frustrated but refrained from shouting. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
He didn’t want to shout because, as mentioned before, there were a lot of powerful people around, and if Itai caught the attention of the wrong one, it wouldn’t end well.
"As punishment, I’m revoking your title of General, which Stewart will now hold. You will only be the Vice-General," Itai said.
Zheren just stood there and then knelt down, nodding his head as if trying to apologize.
Itai ignored him and opened the pouch to check how much money he had received—11 gold and 430 silver. "Yes, I’ll still have 4 gold left afterward," Itai muttered.
’Anyway, I’m finally going to rest at the villa, and I’ll become an adventurer tomorrow because I don’t have the mental or physical energy for it right now,’ Itai thought.

When he got home, Flain gave him a magical map since he wouldn’t need it for a while, which suited Itai perfectly. Interestingly, the magical map still worked even though the bandit’s hand had long since turned to bone.
Meanwhile, Flain had already trained four times, but he hadn’t made much progress in creating the spell, even though he had been there five times, because it was really challenging, and he could stay there for a maximum of 5 minutes. Crafting the spell fascinated him, and training even more because it was a path to the power he so desperately craved.
Itai spent the whole day doing nothing until night, though Flain didn’t notice because he was focused on training. Flain was now concentrating on determining the magical type of the spell, focusing on necrotic, but it would still take a long time before he managed to decide.
The next day, Itai set out to the Adventurers’ Guild to officially become an adventurer.
Flain would now feel like he was in paradise—able to train and craft skills all the time while also having a substantial income. Thanks to Efficient EXP Collector, he would gain significantly more EXP from the monsters that Zheren killed.

Itai was currently standing in front of the Adventurers’ Guild doors, preparing to enter. Once inside, he got in line and waited. By coincidence, he ended up in the same line as last time, so the same receptionist greeted him.
"Do you have the 10 gold?" she asked, to which Itai placed 10 gold on the counter.
The receptionist examined him with her faintly blue eyes, counted the money, and placed a form and an ink pen in front of him. "Fill this out. If you have any questions, you can ask me," she said.
Itai looked at the form. The first field was for his name, so he wrote down "Itai" since many adventurers already knew him by that name. The next was the birth date, and he wrote down "15567" because that was when he was born. The following field was for talent, which Itai honestly did not know.
"Excuse me, I don’t know my talent," Itai said.
The receptionist placed a small crystal orb in front of him. "Touch it," she said coldly.
Itai placed his hand on the orb, and it began to boil for a moment before suddenly lighting up with a green glow.
When the receptionist saw it, her usually cold eyes widened. "A," she muttered.
A talent can have either a plus or a minus. A plus means you are significantly above average in that talent, while a minus means you are significantly below average. The average has no sign, and most people fall into the category without a sign.
Itai scratched his head. "Is that good?" he asked.
"That’s very good," the receptionist replied.
The news that someone had a A talent spread throughout the Adventurers’ Guild. Many started whispering about him.
Itai continued with the form. The next question was about his primary part—whether it was the brain or the body. Itai didn’t know how to answer because he had never trained, and the only thing he had killed was that adventurer.
He had reached Pioneer stage 1 mainly because of his talent, as he was stronger brain from birth and because of the glove his father had left him.
However, Itai assumed his primary part was the brain since he practically never used his body for anything demanding and didn’t feel much stronger than a regular person.
The next question was about his class, and Itai wasn’t sure what to choose—he didn’t plan to fight. Normally, he would consider himself a mage, specifically a necromancer, but marking himself as a mage would be too conspicuous. Unsure of what to choose, he randomly marked "rogue."
That was the end of the form, so he handed it to the receptionist, who checked it. "You can expect to be accepted soon," she said.
"So, a week?" Itai asked.
"No, much sooner. Due to your talent, you have higher priority," she replied...
