Depraved Noble: Forced To Live The Debaucherous Life Of An Evil Noble!-Chapter 475: Let Me Show Off A Little
The moment Cassius’s words were heard, Aisha didn’t waste a heartbeat.
Her eyes flared with blue light, the sigils under her feet glowing as she thrust her wand forward.
And immedietly the fifty steel buckets lined along the lakeshore suddenly rattled as the ground beneath them came alive.
From the soil and rock, earthen apparitions began to rise—twisting like thick ropes of living stone. They coiled around the buckets, gripping tightly before hurling them one by one into the lake.
Water splashed high as the buckets crashed down, the bait inside spilling out in swirling grey clouds beneath the surface.
That was the first phase of the lure.
At the same time, Julie stepped forward, her sword gleaming with wind enchantment. She traced a circle in the air, murmuring an incantation under her breath.
"O breath of the heavens, rise and roar! Strip the earth of its burden, rend the waters to sky!
Zephyr Exsolis!"
Instantly a warm current rolled outward, swirling around the second line of buckets that stood near the group.
The liquid inside hissed, then began to evaporate.
In moments, a mist burst from the buckets, releasing clouds of shimmering fog.
And just like that, the clearing was consumed by a dense fog of pheromone-laden vapor, sweet, humid, intoxicating. It was so thick that even Skadi coughed and waved a hand over her face.
"Ugh—it’s worse than the warehouse!" She gasped, pinching her nose.
Julie grimaced but kept her focus. "We need it strong. If the Leviathan doesn’t feel it, we’re doomed before we start."
Hearing this, even Cassius, who usually wore an expression of unshakable confidence, had a glimmer of uncertainty in his eyes.
He knew how much preparation, had gone into this plan—but there was still that one question, one nagging fear none of them could ignore:
What if the Leviathan only reacts to Nala’s fluids?
If that were true, then everything they’d done, every humiliation, every effort, every sacrifice, would be for nothing.
But just as he thought if he should have tested his theory properly—
Spash!
A sound split the silence.
A deep, resonant splash.
Waves rippled outward from the center of the lake.
Then another crash, louder this time. Water churned violently, the moonlight reflecting off massive, rolling shapes beneath the surface.
Then it came.
A colossal head burst from the depths, scattering water in all directions. White scales glistened under the moonlight, slick and glimmering like carved ivory. Its golden eyes burned with fury, its mouth yawning open to reveal rows of needle-sharp teeth.
The Leviathan.
Even from a distance, the sheer size of it was staggering, its head alone as large as a house, its body winding endlessly through the black water behind it.
"I-It worked." Julie whispered, her grip tightening on her sword. "It actually worked!"
The beast’s arrival was faster, far more desperate, than anyone had predicted. Its movements were erratic, restless.
It was obvious, the pheromones were driving it mad, its forked tongue flicking through the air, tasting the scent.
For a moment, it seemed to hesitate, staring at them from the shallows. It recognized Cassius and the others—it remembered. Instinct screamed at it to flee, to dive back into the safety of the abyss.
But the primal hunger was stronger. The air itself was soaked with temptation. Each breath it took seemed to unravel its reason further.
And then, slowly, the Leviathan began to slither forward, its body rising from the water, muscles rippling beneath pale, armored scales.
Julie’s voice was steady. "Wait...not yet...Let it come closer."
They watched in tense silence as the monstrous form crept farther onto the land, leaving a glistening trail of water and slime behind.
When its entire torso emerged from the lake, Julie finally gave the order.
"Now, Aisha!"
Aisha raised her wand, chanting rapidly. The ground behind the Leviathan erupted upward, and a titanic wall of stone slammed into place, sealing off the lake.
The creature noticed, hissing, but the pheromonal haze was too strong. It ignored the trap completely, driven only by desire and rage.
"Yes...Thank the God of War, everything went accordingly and all our...preparation’s didn’t go to waste."
Julie said before she turned to her teammates.
"Alright, listen up. We stick to formation. I’ll handle its head—I’m the fastest, so if it spits venom, I can dodge it and keep its attention."
"Aisha, you’re on tail duty, that thing’s going to thrash like a hurricane once it’s cornered. Keep those earth shields up and make sure no one gets flattened."
"Got it!" Aisha nodded, already channeling mana into the ground.
"Skadi..." Julie said next, locking eyes with her. "You take the middle. Climb up its body if you can and tear into its scales. Your claws are the sharpest out of all of us, if anyone can pierce through that hide, it’s you. Make it feel every hit."
"Hehe...Damn snake won’t even see it coming." Skadi cracked her knuckles and grinned.
Julie nodded, satisfied.
"Good. And Cassius you—"
She turned to address him—
But she froze as he wasn’t there anymore
"What the—" She said, frowning. "Where the hell—where’s Cassius?!"
"He was right next to you just a moment ago!" Aisha blinked, scanning the area.
"I smelled Master’s scent a second ago!" Skadi added.
Then Nala’s voice rang out from a distance.
"Over there, you guys! Look, Cassius is already in front of the hideous thing!"
"What?!"
They turned, and sure enough...Cassius was standing directly before the Leviathan.
The creature loomed over him, towering so high it seemed to swallow the sky. Its eyes glowed brighter, fury and instinct battling within them.
It knew this man. It knew his presence was not to be trifled with. Its very being screamed danger.
Yet the smell that filled the air made it restless, maddened, hungry.
Meanwhile, Cassius looked up, his expression calm like he was looking at a animal in a zoo, while the wind whipped around him, his coat fluttering, his eyes glinting in the moonlight like molten blood.
"Cassius!!" Julie’s voice cracked as she shouted. "What the hell are you doing?! Get back here, you maniac!"
"Master, get back here!" Skadi’s voice followed immediately behind, laced with genuine fear. "It’s not safe at all! We need to stay in formation! You can’t just run off like that!"
And then Aisha’s sharp tone cut through the tension. "This is not the time to be a hero, Cassius! Get your arrogant ass back here this instant!"
But Cassius only looked over his shoulder at them, and smiled.
His voice came calmly, like the situation wasn’t dire at all.
"Relax. Really, there’s no need to fret."
Their faces twisted in dismay.
How could he be so casual when the monstrous Leviathan loomed just meters away—a towering, coiled beast radiating killing intent, with venom already glistening in its open, snarling maw?
But Cassius continued, his tone still maddeningly light.
"All of you have already worked hard enough tonight, Julie, Aisha, Skadi, Nala...and every woman back at the warehouse. You’ve all done your part to protect this village."
"You deserve to rest now...So leave this ugly thing to me."
Julie looked like she was going to have a heart attack.
"What the hell are you saying? Don’t go spouting cheesy one-liners like this is some stage play!"
But before she could finish her outrage, Cassius raised a hand and cut her off, chuckling.
"Besides...I’ve got four women watching me right now. Four fiancées." He said cooly, glancing between all of them, Nala included.
The four of them froze in place, eyes wide.
"And right now." He said, eyes glinting beneath the silver moonlight. "I want to show you just how cool your future husband can be. So watch me, and fall for me just a little more."
Julie’s mouth fell open. Skadi’s face turned beet red. Aisha tried to yell at him again but only managed a stammer.
Even Nala, hidden just behind the trees, was completely flustered, muttering.
"Damn idiot...what the hell are you saying..."
But still, despite the absurdity, the fear...all four of them felt it.
That pull....That damn, ridiculous charm of his.
That raw confidence. That certainty that no matter what he was facing, even a legendary beast, he’d never falter.
Julie bit her lip. "Dammit...stop saying things that make me fall for you more!"
She was just about to charge forward and drag him back herself when—
Something happened.
A blur.
A heartbeat.
A flash of red under moonlight.
Before any of them could blink—Cassius moved.
He jumped.
Straight above the Leviathan’s massive, towering skull.
And seeing Cassius floating right over it’s head, the beast roared, a rumble that split the night, rearing back in alarm.
Its gaping mouth opened wide, and from its throat surged a stream of acidic venom—the signature of the monster that had plagued the region for over a century.
"Nooo!! Cassius!"
"Masterrrrrr!!!!!"
"You idiot pull back!!"
"Cassius!!!!!"
Everyone screamed.
But Cassius didn’t stop.
Didn’t dodge.
Didn’t hesitate.
He simply raised his fist.
Up, up toward the stars, as if calling on heaven itself to witness.
Then...
With a smile, he whispered, barely audible but laced with lethal finality:
"Goodnight, Mr. Snake...Sweet dreams."
His fist came down.
And the moment it connected with the crown of the Leviathan’s skull—
BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!
The world shook.
A thunderclap.
An explosion.
A deafening sound like a meteor slamming into the earth itself, rang out and echoed through the clearing—so loud it reached the ears all the villages asleep in the distance.
The ground itself trembled as a shockwave exploded from the point of impact, sending up a cloud of dust so thick it blanketed the night.
The air howled as wind tore through the trees, and even the girls had to shield their eyes and anchor themselves against the force.
A soundless pause followed.
No one could see anything.
Just a wall of dust and silence.
And then—
Aisha, breath held.
Skadi, claws bares.
Julie, eyes trembling.
Nala, hands over her heart.
Waiting.
Waiting to see what would remain once the dust cleared.
But then, like the veil lifting after a climax of tension, the dust finally began to settle.
And what they saw made all three women freeze, eyes wide, mouths ajar in utter disbelief.
There, high above the clearing, perched atop the slumped, motionless head of the legendary Leviathan...was Cassius.
Not just standing, no...He was sitting.
Casually. One leg draped over the other, elbow resting on his knee, chin cradled in his palm like he was watching a sunset on a warm evening.
Beneath him, the mighty beast’s skull was completely split open, a massive, grotesque crack running down its thick, plated cranium.
Blood oozed from the fissure, dark and sluggish, forming a slowly spreading puddle beneath the Leviathan’s collapsed body.
Its golden eyes were still open, but lifeless, drained of that primal malice and power they had shimmered with just moments before.
The legendary monster, the terror of the region for over a century...was dead.
Slain.
By a single punch.
Julie’s lips moved but no sound came out.
Aisha’s wand clattered to the ground as her arms went limp.
Skadi blinked rapidly, her tail twitching behind her like she had just stepped into a hallucination.
Even Nala, perched from the tree where she had decided to watch the battle, covered her mouth, eyes wide in disbelief.
Meanwhile, Cassius looked at all of them as if nothing extraordinary had happened. He gave a casual wave with his free hand and chuckled softly, voice ringing clear through the silent clearing.
"See?" He said, as if it was the most normal thing in the world. "I told you it’d be over before you even realized it."
