The assassin couldn’t have evaded the punch, Reeva was observing her movement and used a gap in his clash to deliver a strike. It was rather easy for him since the bulk of the job Was done by the knight fighting with her.

He just needs to act when the assassin is caught in the sword clash and boom she can’t dodge his attack.

His punch connected with her back, but once again, there was no sound. It was unnerving, as if something fundamental to life was missing.

That doesn’t matter to him right now, the moment his punch connects he releases the yellow fog into the body, hoping to incapacitate her. But instead of laughing like the other people when they got yellow fog inside them. Reeva could see that she was Ok.

At that moment Reeva also relied on something major, her power had something to do with the void. because there’s no way a normal human could take his mystic force in and be fine. or any mystic for that matter.

The only one that could potentially withstand it, is the void power.

The again turns the moment she feels Reeva puch. The assassin let out a surprise question.

"What is that!?"

The voice is female but it echoes in a weird way. Reeva doesn’t reply and continues to rain down puch when the assassin is shocked. The balance between the knight has been broken and he quickly capitalizes on it.

The knife has been slower than before, and the sword from the knight could easily slash through. The assassin tried to evade the blade but came out short as Reeva was still hitting her in the back.

She gaon another time and quickly looked for a way out.

It wasn’t long before she saw the priest sitting against the wall exhausted from the power that he burned. Receiving another slash on her hand she quickly dash to the priest, trying to take him hostage.

However, the knight is already one step ahead of her and blocks her path. The narrow hallway has nowhere to run when Reeva is in the back and Gurang is in the front. Seeing her plan fail she quickly adjusts it. there won’t be more chance to escape and she had to make it count.

She dashed off again but this time Reeva and Gurang couldn’t stop her. She quickly goes through the room that she has broken from and leaps through the window. The glass break and the wood shatter but still, there’s no sound coming from her action.

Gurangtriy to catch her when jumping but fell short. Heclose in and look down at the broken window and see that the figure skillfully climbs down from the second floor.

"Dammit!"

He cursed since he would likely get a deep wound if he jumped down there, if he was unlucky the knife that lodged in his heart would be the end of him. However, this is not an obstacle for Reeva, who has been climbing things for a long time now and this time it’s not gonna be any different.

With his enhanced demon body he quickly travels down the side of the tavern. The knight looked on in disbelief as Reeva began chasing the woman down. The woman also looked surprised that she wasn’t out of hot water yet.

In this village, the structure is not that confusing so the best way to lose someone is to go into the forest. There, the tree line and the snow would work perfectly as her cover.

Reeva is stuck behind her trying to catch up but the assassin is incredibly nimble, weaving through obstacles with ease while Reeva gets stuck on many things.

Eventually after many twists and turns they finally arrive at the edge of the village. there is a 1-meter wall separating the townspeople from the outside, it’s not much but most things would know that it’s human territory.

The assassin quickly jumps over and resumes her travel in the dark. Reeva unable to catch couldn’t do the same, not because he wasn’t fast enough but because he could likely fail if he got further.

In the woods, snowing, and at night. Any decent assassin would likely taken his life even if this demon mode was on. the void power was a pain to deal with. Reeva didn’t know why he encountered another one here out of all the places.

A while later the knight catches up with him. He and his fellow knights came prepared but they could not find anything other than Reeva waiting at the walls. He explains what happened to all of them.

"Why didn’t you go after her?" It was a priest who complained after hearing what Reeva had to say.

"Would you in my position go after her?"

"Yes, I would!" The priest said puffing his chest.

"Then go! nothing is stopping you"

"We already lost her, while you have the chance!"

"To do what? fight with an assassin in the dark and have no reinforcement because you guys don’t know where to go? Instead of doing that just divine this instead."

The snow has been fresh and not that much time has passed since the woman step on them. There’s still a visible footprint on the snow leading into the forest. The priest looked over and could see that it was better than Reeva going in solo.

The priest doesn’t like to be ordered around but Reeva’s solution made sense so they have to go with it.

"Oh god, please witness my truth..."

The divination priest starts casting, however, when that happens Gurang has used this free time to approach Reeva.

"What the hell are you?"

Gurang came to ask this question because he was curious. From the surface, Reeva looked like a normal person but from The knight’s perspective, keeping up with a full-speed assassin is rather hard. Not only because he has armor on but his top speed wouldn’t compete with the person who trains to escape.

"Let’s say there’s a reason they kept me in the mobile prison"

"Then let get you back"
