Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 273: Deal
"Get on my horse!"
Holen shouted at the man his hand extended out to grab the knight’s armor but he fell a bit short. Oven unsheath his sword and face whatever was coming.
"Shut up! you piece of shit keep abandoning your people! I’m not like you"
Holen almost face-palm himself when he heard that statement.
"That’s a horse!"
"It’s no different! Go on, abandon me like you abandon my friends!"
Holen gritted his teeth, Jell couldn’t help but feel like he was watching someone burning their house down. With Oven who kept pouring oil over the entire thing. At this point, Jell was tired of the guy’s antics.
He himself was also friends with all the guys they were talking about, however,r he always had something in the back of his mind that resigned to the date of death. It’s in their job description after all, and even if they did it’s not like Holen was gonna cheat them out of money.
Jell had known Holen for a long time and the detective was not short of money. Tons and tone of stac were needed to run his operation after all.
"Get yourself together Oven, you still have kids at home"
Oven snapped his head to look at Jell. He never expected a fellow knight would agree to abandon people. At least that’s what Jell had been associated with when he sided with Holen
The hot-headed knight’s mouth opened but quickly closed.
"Let’s go"

Holen seized the opportunity when the man calmed down to offer him his hand again. Oven looked at the horse with added eyes.
"Are you guys done talking?"
Oven was on high alert once again, he swung his sword when he heard a voice from behind. The sword flew fast, but the only thing it hit was the tree. Jell also prepared his sword, he galloped his horse with his left hand, changing its direction, and went in the direction that the voice came from.
The horse traveled in an arc and finally arrived, however, the only thing he saw was a kid holding a little axe. His hand grips the blade tighter, ready to slash the little boy down. however that’ was also the moment Oven aw the kid.
"Stop!" Oven shouted "What the hell was wrong with you? that’s a kid!"
"And let him get the village after us!?"
"AHHAHAAH" The boy laugh listening to two old men fighting. "Old man I’m not gonna tell anyone "
The two of them looked at the young boy. He was dressed in a leather tribesman with a coat over his whole body for warmth.
"What?"
Oven looked at the kid like he was crazy.
"You’re the empire people right?" The kid smiled as he saw Oven nod "Then please bring me to the empire!"
All the empire people’s eyes widen. Oven was especially surprised since he didn’t know that there would be another person that’s more insane than both Jella and Holen.

Reeva picked up one of the brain replacing flesh monster things that the mother produced. Truthfully he didn’t like this creature one bit. but he just came up with something good. The thing acted exactly like the mind of a human which mean that he could use it for production.
Thatd be fun
But he needed to test his theory first. Whether it was worth keeping these little critters near him or not. Yellow fog seeped out of his body, then it directly went into the monster. He held his breath waiting for the reaction and sure enough his theory was correct.
The monster seeped out a tone of yellow fog, however, its dark body had gone pale and it looked skinnier than before. Reeva waved the collection of flesh around and threw it away.
It would be fun using it, however, it wouldn’t be fun if the mother got control of the critters and used it against him. He stomps the remaining brain monster before rushing to catch up with the remaining group.
Across the snowy forest, the group of knights and two priests were holding out against a wave of vines that were tossed at them.
"Run!"
Quin shouted as loud as he could. This was the highest emergency situation. IN front of him as a foe that he wishes he wouldn’t have the pleasure of fighting. The grey vines lashed out against them, the knight tried their best to hold it off.
However, the mystic power that was innate to the vines was enough to handle the knight. even just one of the vines could fight with the knight. Smacking and easily punching through the iron armor.
Many receive injuries, the same as Flolo, a twisting flesh of pain. Quin did his best to detour many vines but his mystic power had a limit. The vine truly looked endless from where he stood.
He glanced behind him and saw that the people had gone quite a bit of distance away. His blade was infused with a pale yellow light, then he slashed the air. It produced an arc that cut through many vines. Every area that the flame passed through was lit ablaze. However other than the initial damage the flame quickly faded away.
The mystic power that resides in every vine stopped the spread.
"Never cease to amaze me that one slash could potentially burn down my whole body"
A sound came from the collection of vines that wiggled around the now floor, treating it like water.
It was true that one such flash could burn down her entire body if her vines did not have a mystic power to counteract it. Typically, the sun god’s flames consumed anything that the user judged evil, and the sun god would assist them with more of his fire.
"You could talk....?"
It was the first time he encountered a demon that could talk. The church often warned them about such things, they fear the demon with intelligence, even if they have less power than the dumb one. They could easily utilize their power to the fullest which made the priest’s job harder.
"Yes dear, would you mind having a chat with him?"
an arc quickly shot over to the voice direction. Brunign the vines and cutting the trees in the way, however, there was nothing there and the vines were still active.
"Quite a clever trick, it would have worked a thousand years ago"
The snaking vines shot over, aiming for Quin’s body. However, he dashed to the side, avoiding all the things that were thrown at him. The vine continued to seek him even after they missed. Quin Sword lit up again and shot another arc at the vines.
All of them burned to a crisp.
"Arcchhhh!!!!"
A scream came from another direction, and before long another scream came from the opposite side. Quin looked at both sides and saw that the knight had already fallen to the vines. They’re not dead yet but their body had been entrap within the grey vines.
"Luis! Eduma!"
He screamed out their name, but before he could do anything the vines also attacked him another time. He gritted his teeth as another fire burned bright and cut through a collection of vines.
"Give up boy, you had no chance against me"
The mother’s voice came from the collection of vines again, even if he looked there would be nothing there. Quin’s eyes began to lose focus, his faith was running out.
"You wretch demon, your word wouldn’t convince me"
"Tell you what, I want you"
"!?"
"I love the struggling type like you the most."
"You sick demon"
"You could say that" Quin could feel her smiling with that statement "I want to eradicate humans after all"
"The church would never let you do it"
"We’ll see about that" The vine sounds from a random place again "However right now I’ll give you an option, if you surrender to me I’ll let your little knights go"
Quin’s eyes widen, now looking at the knight and looking at the vines below. By this point the vine had already surrounded him on all sides. Quin already knew long ago that he wasn’t gonna make it out of this one.
He gritted his teeth
"Fine, but you have to let them go first"
"No!"
One of the knights overheard the conversation and suppressed the pain to talk to Quin.’
"Run! Don’t look back"
Quin’s eyes were filled with determination, even the knight could tell that he couldn’t change Quin’s mind. To the knight, his life was far less valuable than the priest who had been keeping them alive all this time.
"Deal"
The mother said with glee in her voice. Then the vine that tightened the knight’s body was released. The free knight then quickly ran, following the group.
"How are you gonna do this?"
Quin’s question was quickly answered when the vines in front of him intertwined and formed the shape of a human. More specifically, the face of a female human.
