Reeva sat on the ground, his face smiling. However if one looked closely they could see that Reeva’s smile was not a good one. It looked hollow, with nothing but the appearance.

"What are you....?"

Nan didn’t know what to think of Reeva’s appearance, a lemon that was wearing a preit uniform and more importantly didn’t seem to have an intention to attack. Normally he would have killed the demon already but, the weird things add up one by one and she couldn’t help but be curious about this demon.

With how weak it was, she could have killed in one blow so she didn’t take anything too seriously. The demon head, sway up to look at the woman standing over him. She had blonde hair and brown eyes, wearing a priest’s coat that had 4 strips with two on each side of the coat.

"Hahaha"

Demon Reeva let out a chuckle, out of all the things he encountered, a six-circle priest wasn’t one of them. And in this appearance, he didn’t have any excuse that could convince the other party either unless...

Nena seeing that talking to ready her golden cloth, then ordered it to kill Reeva. However, before the cloth reached the demon’s body, a yellow light shined from his forehead. Nena’s golden cloth came to a halt, partly because she was stunned and partly because the light acted as a bit of deterrence for her own mystic power.

Like a command given by god himself to not attack this demon. Right then she was struck with a weird situation. A demon had a sun god sigil on his body. a sign that he was an apostle. But that couldn’t be possible... the sun god wouldn’t give his mark so easily.

"It worked"

Nena’s eyes widened when she heard Reeva speak.

"Demon, what the hell are you?"

"I’m an apostle of cause, what else could I be?" Reeva pointed at the mark on his head. Now that it had come to this, the mark was rather convenient.

"....."

She didn’t answer Reeva but her face said it all. It was a mix of confusion and annoyance. Then it turned into a bit of anger before she calmed down. Then he ordered her golden cloth to wrap around Reeva’s body, preventing him from doing anything.

Nanva sat down on the snow floor and made herself comfortable. She stared at Reeva and Reeva answered back. Both of them didn’t talk for a while until someone approached them. It was two people, one was a blonde-haired woman and another was a black hair priest.

From the robes they wore, the guy was another 6th circle mystic while the woman was a saintess. The main difference was the sun symbol in the center of her robe.

"I told you not to run ahead."

The guy’s voice came first, it was almost a scolding but his voice lacked a bit of emotion. The guy had already known the outcome of the battle when the saintess peak into it. However he still needed to scold her, have that ball was a bit faster she would have been dead.

"Yet I still survived, you guys are just too slow"

"This would have ended far better if you had waited a bit"

"Blah blah blah, I still won," The woman said with annoyance in her voice "Go back and cry about it with Sanchez"

"Nana...." The black hair man’s voice sounded more offended than before, however before this escalated, the saintess stepped in.

"Stop. Nena had a point, if she wasn’t here there would have been more loss" Nan smirked, looking at the guy "But Nana, you could have died there so you’re not off the hooks if you disobeyed me one more time, then there will be no bath for you at home"

"What!!?!? You can’t do that!"

"Yes I can," Lucy said with a calm voice.

"But...." Nana was about to talk back but she couldn’t articulate a good counter, after all the person she was talking to was the saintess of the sun. In mystic power, she was not better than hers but in authority, the saint was only under the pope.

So realistically her bath was in real danger.

"What’s that behind you?"

After seeing that Nena was not fighting anymore, Lucy shifted the focus to the thing sitting against the trees. Demon Reeva watched as they talked to each other, it was beneficial to him since he had more time to think.

"Oh yeah... this guy was weird" She pointed her hand at the sun mod mark, and at that moment the eyes of the two people there widened. "Why did it have a su mark?"

"...."

The saint couldn’t answer that, She closed her eyes for a second and made an inquiry to the sun god himself. But before she could do that the demon answered.

"I am a newly appointed apostle"

"Wait..." The saint was shocked but not as much as before, she then chanted a few words in a low voice "Speak that again"

"I am a newly appointed apostle"

"No, you’re not" The saint flatly said, the sentence that the demon spoke came as false.

"Then I’ll cut it down..." Nena ready her clothes again but Lucy held up her hand to stop it.

"Was the body you inhabit that of an apostle?"

"Yes, it is." The demon felt a pang in his head, it seemed like the sun god mark had a rather strict identification. It didn’t consider the demon version of himself as an apostle, which means that the sun god appointed Reeva, not his belief.

"So how do we get him out of that state? It looked like he was twisted by the mother" Nana guessed, since she saw some wounds on Reeva’s body. He received it when the eyes dome was upon him.

"No, that it couldn’t manipulate mystic to go out of control, at least that’s what we know. So that means we’re dealing with self-demonization here"

The saint sighed, she then asked Reeva again.

"Why did you demonize... No why did the apostle demonize?"

he realized halfway through that they aren’t considered the same person and if she continues with that question then there would be no answer since the demon itself didn’t demonize.

"We had no choice, we needed to survive" The demon sneered

"And?" She could tell that there was something more to the demon. It had been very lucid and cooperative with them, unlike any other demon she had come across.

That must be why he was an apostle, a special power or something

"And protect the people"

"...." The three of them looked at each other unsure of what to say. The demon was protecting the people?

"But there no point in it now, the original state of mind was not great and I who was connected to him didn’t feel like living anymore..."

The demon said the truth. Although they were considered two different beginnings by the sun god, their whole being was liked with each other making their feeling affected by one another. When the demon felt joy, Reeva also felt joy and when Reeva felt ad, the demon too couldn’t help but maintain a sad smile.

As the saint looked at him, Reeva smiled back, still as gloomy as ever.

"So was there a way to turn you back?"

"There is, but what’s the point, in this state of mine Reeva... The apostle would become a husk in under a minute and be dead in two. He felt deeply about those people that were with him and lamented the fact that she couldn’t save...."

"Oh, those people were saved by the way" The demo looked at Nena, for the first time in this conversation it didn’t smile. Instead, its face was filled with shock. Then a punch came to the demon’s face.

Reeva took control of the brain and fought the demon off, however, this time the demon wasn’t offering any resistance and faded into the back of his mind once more. His eyes return back to normal blue.

"You didn’t lie to me, right? Miss?"

His voice was filled with hope like he never had before. However Nena didn’t answer Reeva right away, she looked at him a bit longer to assess what the hell just happened. She was sure that her clothes were still wrapped around the boy. But for a split second her power was drained and a hand broke free punching himself in the head.

"Yep, I could bring you to them right now..."

"No he needed to stay here" The guy objected "I’m not letting a demon near any people"

"Are you the apostle?" Lucy didn’t care about their little talking and asked Reeva directly.

"Yes I am"

This time the answer was true

"Are you a demon?"

"No"

"Do you want to harm anybody in any way?"

"No, I just... want to see them," Reeva said, his eyes feeling a bit watery thinking about their faces. I thought I lost them forever...

"Then let bring him to them"
