He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 628. Assessment 1
RiverBlood Empire.
Fistfar Galaxy.
Infar Solar System.
Secondary Carrier Alliance planet.
Kailen and Legoland took out a hover vehicle and sat in the hover vehicle.
Their hover vehicle whizzed past several skyscrapers and other hover vehicles in a moment. Following a detailed map they had just purchased from an online shop of a chamber of commerce, they passed through various regions of the secondary Carrier profession districts, such as the alchemy association, the blacksmith association, the healers association, the miners association — all several large metropolis on the planet — and eventually arrived in front of the Runesmith association.
Having put away the hover vehicle, they were currently standing in front of a tall Gothic-looking skyscraper.
Several individuals, runesmiths from different races, were entering the place.
Quickly, Kailen and Legoland entered through the entrance.
The ground floor was serene and quiet, unlike the bustling atmosphere outside.
There was a lounge where several individuals were seated, for various purposes.
Legoland went to sit at the lounge. He was not a secondary Carrier expert. He just came to escort Kailen here.
Kailen proceeded to the counter, where a pretty vampire lady, wearing an office suit and mini skirt, was seated. This person radiated the aura of a rank 1 intermediate stage universe level.
She was strong. Kailen knew, since she was a vampire, she most likely had the law of darkness, and therefore, she could crush him in a fight.
Also, considering the fact that she was seated here, she was definitely a rank 8 runesmith.
This empire was full of monsters.
Kailen, however, was calm on the surface. However, he reminded himself that he had to be very cautious and mind his own business as he always did, else he would die before he and Legoland even got to the imperial Galaxy.
"Sir, please, what can I do for you?" The woman spoke with strict professionalism, not daring to look down on the young man before her. He may be a rank 6 beginner stage universe level powerhouse, someone weaker than her. But years of doing this work had taught her not to look down on anyone. Appearances could be deceiving.
Kailen replied, "I would like to know the requirements a runesmith has to fulfill to be allowed entry into the imperial capital."
Kailen noticed the woman was slightly taken aback. She had not expected this question.
However, she regained her composure quickly.
"Very well. Is sir registered with the Universe Runesmith Association?"
Kailen replied, "No, please. If there’s a test to register myself, I can conduct it as soon as possible."
Kailen Darkhaven was registered. But his new identity, Karag Anvilheart, was not registered.
"Your name, sir?"
"Karag Anvilheart."
"Very well, Mr. Anvilheart. Let’s register sir with the Runesmith Association as soon as possible. After that, someone will guide you through the requirements to enter the royal capital." The woman replied again professionally. This man’s situation was not strange. Registering with the association was a matter of personal preference. Some preferred not to, others preferred to, because of the benefits.
Quietly, she made a call.
A figure flashed and appeared before them.
"Mr. Anvilheart, please."
Kailen nodded and followed the male elf, dressed in a formal suit, through a teleportation gate that led directly to another floor.
On the floor, several Awakeners could be seen standing outside various closed rooms.
Their eyes were glued to several holographic screens displaying the assessment of various individuals who were either taking rank-updating assessments or taking registration assessments.
At this moment, a pale-skinned fellow stepped out of one of the examination chambers. He was clad in baggy jeans, sneakers, and loose shirts.
He was tall, athletic, and had black eyes.
Even the man that had come to receive Kailen stared in his direction for a moment.
Kailen figured this person was probably some runesmith prodigy.
"Misborn Filis is really on another level. At this moment, he’s basically on an entirely different level. He really has a rune skill proficiency of 90 percent. What sort of person is this?"
"Heh, have you forgotten about the Mad Tactician, the former Arbiter? That guy has a rune skill proficiency of 99.9 percent."
"I know. But that Kailen Darkhaven is an anomaly you can’t view with common sense. We are talking in the scope of geniuses."
"If you put it that way, Mistborn Filis is really something else."
"Yeah, I heard he’s joining the RiverBlood Empire Academy through a special slot."
"Special slot? Only someone from the imperial faction can recommend a special slot, right?"
"Yeah, your news is outdated. Apparently, he has already enrolled. A few weeks ago."
"I see. As expected of this fellow. Even someone from the imperial faction is behind him."
"Yeah, I heard his master did a favour for one of the officials of the imperial faction, and because of that, he obtained the slot."
"Wow. He has great luck, he’s handsome, and he has unlimited potential."
Mistborn had a smug smile on his face.
Finally, he had advanced to the level of a rank 8 runesmith.
He could finally challenge the rank 8 runesmith tower in the academy and obtain the right to enter one of those cultivation mountains brimming with dense universe energy to cultivate, depending on which level he was able able to clear the tower to. He had also completed the academy mission he came to this solar system for. It was time to return to the academy.
Ignoring the reverential looks directed his way, he brushed shoulders with a fellow with chestnut hair, accompanied by a staff of the Runesmith Association, and left.
"Mr. Anvilheart, kindly enter the room and take your test. The test is set to public broadcast. You can set it to private if you want.
Also, to be able to know the requirement for living in the imperial capital, one must have at least a rune skill proficiency of 89 percent."
The man said.
Karag Anvilheart replied calmly, "Alright."
When the surrounding crowd heard the exchange between the staff member and the tall human dude with chestnut hair, they couldn’t help but sigh inwardly.
Another overconfident fellow who wanted to live in the royal capital.
Did he know the kind of requirements one would have to fulfill before he was allowed there?
To even be able to know the requirements, one had to have a rune skill proficiency of at least 89 percent.
Also, information leaks had spread about the kind of requirements a runesmith had to meet to enter the royal capital. It was really absurd. Only a few monsters had managed to fulfill them.
They couldn’t wait to see this proud bastard humiliate himself.
Not in the least bit concerned about the opinions of others, Karag Anvilheart entered the assessment room, and the doors sealed behind him.
