Her Dark Desires-Chapter 32: I Despise Your Entire Family

"What did you tell her?" Zach asked coldly. His entire aura changed as if he hadn’t been playing and smiling with her a while ago.

Eliana stood up and met his gaze as she said "I told her exactly what I told you this morning. That I’m on your team and that I love you. But Zach, I need to know what my dad did to yours."

"Your dad forced my dad to commit suicide." Zach’s eyes

"What? I thought your dad died in an accident." Eliana whispered. Not much information about Antonio Sanders was seen on the internet, the only thing written about him was that he was a great businessman and died in an accident.

"Do you know how I ended up betrothed to the Moore family’s daughter?"

Eliana nodded and replied, "My Mom saved your grandmother, and in appreciation, your grandmother wished for the child in Sloane womb to be married to her first grandson, which is you."

"That was how the Moore family entered our lives. The Sanders were rich but we weren’t that rich. Dad made a bad business deal that almost got us bankrupt and since he and Henry were becoming close friends, he told him about it."

"What happened next?"

"It turned out that Dad and Henry were competitors for a project worth a billion dollars. Dad won the project, but a week later, a seventeen-year-old girl came out to the public and accused him of molesting her. Everyone criticized him, and the public refused to hear his explanation. He was arrested, but Mom was able to bail him out as a result of insufficient evidence, but everything was already ruined. The project was taken away from him and given to Henry, and with that, the Moore family rose greatly. He then started an entertainment company which slowly became the number one entertainment company in Rosehill city. My dad was a respectable man who valued his name and because of your father’s scheme, it was dragged through the mud. He became depressed and started drinking and when he couldn’t take it anymore, he...." Zach couldn’t complete his statement. "I was the one that found him Eli. I was playing with a five-year-old Ryan when I heard a gunshot. I rushed to his studies because I became curious about that sound, and I saw him lying on the floor in his blood and his eyes wide open."

"Zach," Eliana called his name softly, her heart was badly aching for him, and her eyes were already teary for the little boy who found his father in his blood.

"After that day, Charlotte Sanders became different, and at eleven years old, I heard my Mom’s conversation with Jules. How the girl who had accused my dad has been taken care of and how Henry was the one who hired her. I walked to my Mom and told her that I would be the one who would get revenge on the Moore family, and now it was time for them to burn to ashes. I despise your entire family, Eliana, and I will ruin them until they are completely nothing." Zach said with so much hatred in his eyes.

Eliana would be lying if she said she wasn’t scared of the man standing in front of her, the way he looked at her when talking about her family was so scary that she subconsciously took a step back, she clenched her fist as she said "Those nights when you couldn’t sleep, was it because of what you saw when you were a kid. It must have been traumatizing, I wish I wasn’t his daughter."

"But you are. You are his daughter and there is nothing we can do about it."

Eliana’s voice trembled as tears streamed down her face. "I don’t know what to say to you. You have valid reasons to hate me but I.....I don’t want you to hate me, Zach, and I also don’t want you to love me because of the child. I feel like I don’t deserve to love you."

Zach’s gaze softened as he said, "You are different from him, and I may hate your family, but I don’t hate you."

"Why?" Eliana asked. If it was her, she would hate him and would never wish to have anything to do with him again.

Her question made Zach smile, he took a step forward and cupped her cheek as he replied, "Because you are my Eli."

Eliana burst into tears when he said that and suddenly embraced him.

Zachary, on the other hand, was surprised when she suddenly started crying. What did he say that made her to start crying? However, when he heard her loud sob, it made him remember the twelve-year-old who cried in his arms after saving her from drowning. The memory brought a smile to his face, and he gently wrapped his hands around his wife, slowly patting her back as she cried.

City Hospital.

Sloane rushed into Amber’s ward and saw the mess her daughter made, and she said, "You need to stop breaking things because it won’t solve anything."

Amber looked at her mother and said, "I heard the nurses talking, and they say we have lost everything."

"No, we haven’t. What is happening now, It’s nothing your dad and I can’t fix." Sloane replied. She opened her purse and brought out Amber’s phone. "A guy named Mason kept calling you, so I answered the call."

Amber frowned when she heard that and quickly snatched her phone from her mother’s hand and asked in anger, "Why did you answer my call?"

"And why are you reacting like that? Is he a lover? Since I haven’t heard of a Mason before in our society, I’m guessing he is a nobody."

"What did he say to you?" Amber asked, hoping Mason did not say anything about their plans to her mother, but that hope was shattered when she heard her mother say.

"You no longer have to worry again, baby, because, by this time tomorrow, that girl and her baby will be gone from your life forever," Sloane said. "Those were the exact words he said, and when I asked which girl, he hung up the phone, but I’m guessing the girl he is talking about is Eliana, right?"

That stupid Mason. Seeing no emotion in her mother’s eyes, Amber immediately knelt in front of her "I’m sorry, but I did not ask him to do anything to Eliana. Mason is my friend, and when I told him of what Eliana had done to me, I never expected him to think of harming her. Please, do not think I am that kind of person. I know Eliana is your biological child, and you have shown me so much love, so I would never think of harming your daughter."

At this point, Amber was already crying as she goes further to say, "Even if I felt hurt and betrayed by a girl I considered my sister, it still will never be my intention to harm her."

"That’s enough," Sloane said. "This Mason guy of yours, how reliable is he?"

"Mason? He is a member of a gang, but from what he told me, he said his gang is under a very strong Mafia family, so they can never be touched, not by the government or even by the police."

A vicious glint was seen in Sloane’s eyes as she said, "Then let’s use him."

Amber was confused. "What do you mean by using him?"

"The Moores have practically lost everything. Your dad is being investigated for fraud, and our accounts have been frozen. No one is accepting to help us because they are frightened of offending the Sanders family but they are mistaken if they think I will watch this family burn to the ground. I saved this family once and will do it again and sadly, for that to happen, Eliana has to lose her child"
