I Have A Baby From My Ex-Husband's Enemy-Chapter 142: Her Lover’s Enemy

Megan woke up feeling confused because she was in a very strange place and her body was tied to a chair. She didn’t know where it was and didn’t understand why she was tied up like that. But she was sure that she was being kidnapped right now.

"Where am I? How can I be here?" she asked, still feeling confused about the current situation.

Moreover, she didn’t know the clear reason why she was kidnapped now, was it because her kidnapper liked her? Or did the kidnapper hate her?

But she didn’t know anyone in Dormania, how could someone suddenly hate her?

"Does Samuel know where I am? Does he know that I’m missing? How long have I been here?" she asked again while trying to look out the window as it was already late afternoon.

Of course, this caused Megan to panic because she remembered that the last time she and Samuel met was at 11:00 am, but now it was almost afternoon, which meant that several hours had passed since she last saw him.

Megan tried to free herself from the chair that bound her but it was not easy. Her hands and feet were tied so tightly that the ropes were actually making her arms and legs hurt from rubbing against the ropes.

"I need to get out of here soon! At least maybe hide somewhere and contact Sam so he can find me!" she thought at the moment but she still couldn’t find a way to escape.

In the midst of her confusion to get out of the situation, the door of the room suddenly opened and a group of people with guns and two other people who Megan felt were the leaders of the group appeared.

She became convinced that the kidnapper was a mobster too, from the way his men carried weapons in their hands.

"Well well... Looks like you’re awake. What about your sleep, Princess? You slept so well that you just woke up now," said one of them who carried a stick in his hand.

He lifted Megan’s chin with the tip of the stick and looked at the woman’s beautiful face. Megan could only stare at him, as she didn’t know what to say.

"What do you want from me? Why did you kidnap me like this and take me when I don’t know you at all!" she asked the man in front of her which made him laugh when he heard that.

The man introduced himself as Cornor, the right-hand man of a mafia group that claimed to be the big mafia in Dormania. And it’s true, they don’t know Megan at all. However, they were informed that Megan was the lover of Samuel from the Lorenzo family.

"We heard that you are the lover of Samuel Lorenzo, that’s why we kidnapped you considering we want to take revenge on him!" Cornor replied, making Megan wonder who said and leaked the information.

Was the person who said that the one who saw her and Samuel together in Dormania and therefore knew about their relationship? Or was there someone who deliberately did it to frame Megan and Samuel.

"Tell me, is it true that you are his girlfriend?"

"If it’s true what are you going to do to him? Getting revenge by kidnapping me won’t make Samuel scared and stop. You’re just creating a big problem by making him angry," she replied.

But Cornor explained that the reason he kidnapped Megan was to trap Samuel so that he would come to her rescue. They really want to kill Samuel after he killed Cornor’s brother, which makes him vengeful to this day.

But he never managed to trap Samuel even though he had done many things. Until finally someone called him and told him about Megan who was the lover of their enemy.

"And here you are now! I will kill you right in front of him to avenge all the things he has done to me," Cornor explained all these things to Megan.

However, Megan’s response made the mafia man flinch slightly and lose his ability to speak.

"Then what? After you get revenge by killing me in front of Samuel, will your brother come back? After that will your brother come back to life and then return home to meet you again?" Megan asked which made Cornor silent.

An angry Samuel could kill the others and Cornor would retaliate and it would happen again and again around them. It’s like a never-ending cycle.

"Your attempt at revenge is just a stupid, futile desire! You won’t be satisfied at all to take revenge because it will lead to other problems!" Megan said which got her into even bigger trouble.

Cornor didn’t seem to want to listen to Megan’s words and instead felt very angry that Megan dared to say such things to him.

"How dare a woman like you say that to me, as if teaching me what revenge is. Don’t you know that you are currently a hostage in my base?"

Megan fell silent when Cornor said that, because sometimes she didn’t remember her current position but she tried to say something right.

The mafia man then grabbed Megan’s jaw quite firmly, making her whimper in pain while staring at him.

"You still dare to look at me like that, you’re a woman who doesn’t know where you stand. Either you’re really brave or you’re too stupid and don’t have the skills to survive to even dare to do all these things," he said then released Megan’s jaw while pushing her rather strongly.

He then slapped Megan’s face repeatedly right and left which made her feel pain. But she couldn’t do anything about it.

Until finally Megan’s head was bowed limply, and both cheeks were slightly swollen from the slaps that kept coming her way.

With a sly smile on Cornor’s face, he grabbed Megan’s hair lifting her head to look at him.

"This is just the beginning, because until Samuel comes I will keep you in torment. So you can hate and blame that man for what happened to you today."
